Bynum missed Tuesday's game with the injury but it doesn't sound very serious at all. He's going to need an injury to one of Rodney Stuckey, Ben Gordon or Brandon Knight to have a chance at a consistent role in the rotation.

Sun Jan 15 201216:48Will Bynum, Damien Wilkins out on Sunday

Tue Jan 10 201223:08Will Bynum scores 20 off Pistons bench
Will Bynum came off the bench for 20 points and three assists on 7-of-14 shooting in 25 minutes Tuesday.
Rodney Stuckey remains out with a groin injury, but should return soon. When it happens, Bynum will return to obscurity. Brandon Knight started and hit just 4-of-9 shots in the ugly loss to Dallas, but all four were 3-pointers and he finished with 12 points, five boards and two assists. He also had six turnovers, but is still worth a look in most leagues, especially while Stuckey is out.

Tue Jan 3 201218:14Bynum falling out of Pistons G rotation?
Pistons head coach Lawrence Frank has settled on his top three guard rotation of Rodney Stuckey, Ben Gordon and Brandon Knight, leaving Will Bynum on the outside looking in.
Aside from playing in the final three minutes in a loss at Boston on Friday, Bynum has not played in the Pistons' last three games. Until Bynum works his way back into more minutes, we'd leave him on waiver wires.

Sat Jul 16 201110:34Will Bynum would 'consider' playing overseas
Will Bynum, who played for Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2006-07, will consider playing overseas if the lockout extends well into the season (as his agent predicts).
"I think they (the league) had been planning this for a long time," said his agent, Mark Bartelstein. "You can't get a new deal in place if only one side is willing to negotiate." Basically every player in the NBA would 'consider' going overseas if the season is canceled, but only a handful of marginal players are likely to actually make the leap.

Mon Jul 11 201110:29Will Bynum interested in Maccabi Tel Aviv?
Will Bynum reportedly expressed a "strong interest" in playing for Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Bynum spent 2006-08 with the team, and now EuroBasket reports that the point guard would like the opportunity to re-join the club and play with childhood friend Jeremy Pargo. If he departs, it's possible that Bynum could stay overseas even if the lockout is lifted before the start of the year.

Will Bynum is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to a calf injury suffered on April 6th.
The season's all but done so this isn't a big loss. Hopefully next season will fare better for Bynum.

Sun Apr 10 201116:55Bynum (calf) sidelined for Sunday's game
Will Bynum will be sidelined again for Sunday's game due to a calf injury.
Rodney Stuckey should once again benefit from Bynum's absence. Austin Daye should also get his share of minutes but he's too unreliable of an option.

Fri Apr 8 201118:32Pistons without Will Bynum (calf) on Friday
The Pistons will be without Will Bynum on Friday, as he recovers from a calf injury he suffered on Wednesday.
Rodney Stuckey will come off the bench behind Tracy McGrady but should have solid value with Bynum out of the picture. If you're still scrapping toward the fantasy finish line, dump Bynum for a healthy player.

Wed Apr 6 201123:20Will Bynum leaves game with calf injury
Will Bynum left Wednesday's game with a calf injury and did not play during the second half.
He finished with four points and two assists over 14 minutes, and Rodney Stuckey came in and took care of business with 22 points, five boards, and 10 assists. At this stage of the season, he can be pitched to the waiver wire for a hot free agent.

Tue Apr 5 201122:56Bynum scores 14 points and not much else
Will Bynum started again at PG on Tuesday, scoring 14 points on 4-of-12 shooting (including a three) with one rebound, two assists, and two steals in 32 minutes.
Rodney Stuckey was benched again and Tracy McGrady suffered a wrist injury, though he stayed in the game, but any way you slice it Bynum is a low-end fantasy play that carries some risk right now. If Stuckey returns Bynum could be minimized, but he also has some upside that we haven't seen him tap into yet.

Sun Apr 3 201120:43Will Bynum stays hot with T-Mac out
Will Bynum stayed hot on Sunday with Tracy McGrady (back) back in action, piling up 20 points, three steals, two treys and one assist.
We have no word on when McGrady might return to the starting lineup, but Bynum is proving that he has starting-caliber talent. He'll be a nice source of steals and points anytime T-Mac limited. Bynum is worth a desperation look while we wait for coach John Kuester to announce a starting lineup going forward.

Fri Apr 1 201123:27Bynum returns from personal leave, starts
Will Bynum returned from a personal absence and started for injured Tracy McGrady (back) and had 12 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals on 6-of-9 shooting.
Rodney Stuckey was relegated to the bench, which doesn't make any sense to anyone not named John Kuester, and had just two points and three assists on 1-of-5 shooting in 26 minutes. We don't trust either player from a fantasy standpoint right now, but both are worth keeping a close eye on.
