Will Bynum will have a precautionary X-ray on his left hand on Saturday.

He hurt his hand way back in January and has been playing through the pain, but the team opting to give him an MRI suggests his pain has been worse. We'll pass along the results of the X-ray, but there's no fantasy impact of this news just yet.

Calderon is a near lock, but Bynum is still worth a look in standard leagues even with a sub-par schedule the rest of the way.

The Pistons don't play until Friday and it seems incredibly unlikely that Calderon would miss that game due to the flu. Owners should plan accordingly.

The league has suspended Will Bynum for one game after Bynum hit Tyler Hansbrough in the stomach during Saturday's game.

His minutes have been too limited off the bench for him to offer much consistency, making him very frustrating to own. And that's the reason he's likely available in your league.

Jose Calderon was great tonight, but Rodney Stuckey disappeared, allowing Bynum to go off. He scored two points on Monday and was beginning to cool off after a hot run early in the month, and tonight's game puts him back on the fantasy radar.

Veteran NBA reporter Chris Sherdian considers Will Bynum the player most likely to be dealt at the Feb. 21 trade deadline.

The rebuilding Pistons don't have much need for Bynum, who will be an unrestricted free agent after this season. He'd be an explosive bench option for a contender such as the Thunder. Despite getting just 18.0 minutes per game this season, Bynum is averaging 9.1 points and 3.7 assists.

Rodney Stuckey was limited by foul trouble and Jose Calderon wasn't available due to visa issues, which makes this performance feel like an isolated incident. The backcourt is simply too crowded to expect reliable value from Bynum, who hadn't had a single steal in his previous six games.

Will Bynum scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting with eight assists in 16 minutes off the bench on Friday.

With Jose Calderon about to jump in the mix these types of outbursts will be less frequent. Bynum can be watched from the wire in most formats.

Will Bynum came off the bench and had nine points and 12 assists on 3-of-7 shooting in 20 minutes on Sunday.

Kyle Singler started at shooting guard, as usual, but Bynum stepped up off the bench on a night that saw Brandon Knight score a career-high 31 points, but not hand out a single assist. After today's game Bynum is averaging 12 points and five assists over his last five games, making him worth a deep-league look, despite coming off the bench. The 12 dimes were a season high, and most he's had in a game since he somehow went for 20 assists in a game back in 2010.

Will Bynum scored 15 points with four rebounds, six assists and one block in 26 minutes against the Magic on Tuesday.

He has strung together some games with an average of 16.3 points and 5.0 assists in his last four contests. Garbage time was a bit of a factor in this game and Rodney Stuckey also suffered an apparent mild ankle sprain late in the fourth quarter. If Stuckey's ankle injury turns out to be an issue, Bynum makes sense as a pickup in some deeper formats.

Will Bynum scored 22 points on 10-of-16 shooting, including 2-for-2 from 3-point range, in Thursday's game at the O2 Arena in London.

Bynum also chipped in four assists, two rebounds and a steal in 29 minutes -- a nice line for the Pistons' sparkplug guard. The 22 points were Bynum's biggest output since he scored 25 against the Heat on Dec. 28. A lot of his output Thursday came during a 7-0 run fueled exclusively by Bynum that got the Pistons within shouting distance of the Knicks in the second half before New York eventually pulled away.
