The veteran will meet with doctors after the season to see if surgery is necessary, but he played just nine minutes in Wednesday's win against the Bucks.

He suffered the injury on Tuesday and with Tyson Chandler out with a hamstring injury on Wednesday night, the timing couldn't be worse for the Knicks. In terms of fantasy, the loss of Jeffries and Chandler should mean good things for guys like Carmelo Anthony, Amare Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert, who is starting over Landry Fields against the Spurs.
