Thu Feb 21 201315:29Thunder acquire Ronnie Brewer Thursday
The Thunder acquired Ronnie Brewer from the Knicks right before Thursday's deadline.
He won't be seeing much time on the wing with Thabo Sefolosha playing well and Kevin Martin healthy right now. Brewer's departure does help Iman Shumpert's value by a nose.

Wed Feb 20 201315:55Knicks reportedly shopping Ronnie Brewer
The Knicks are shopping Ronnie Brewer, sources tell ESPN New York's Jared Zwerling.
Count this among the least surprising deadline rumors. After playing major minutes to start the year, Brewer has completely fallen out of coach Mike Woodson's rotation and had received four straight DNP-CDs before the All-Star break. Woodson said he's considering putting Brewer back into the starting lineup, but that's likely due more to Jason Kidd's terrible play of late. We can't imagine the Knicks would get much for him in a deal and are likely just looking for useful players to improve their bench play.

Wed Feb 13 201322:38Ronnie Brewer may start after the break
Mike Woodson said he may put Ronnie Brewer back into the starting lineup after the All-Star break.
The Knicks lost three of their last four games with losses to the Clippers, Raptors and Wizards. Iman Shumpert has been starting at small forward and Jason Kidd at shooting guard and one would think that it'll be Kidd moving to the bench. Kidd has been dreadful in his last five games, averaging just 2.6 points on 17.4 percent shooting in 26.8 minutes. Kidd can be cut in most leagues while Ronnie Brewer has just 4.8 points per game in his 34 starts this year and has even less value.

Sun Dec 9 201201:10Ronnie Brewer goes scoreless...again
Ronnie Brewer went scoreless on Saturday for the second consecutive game, missing all five of his field goal attempts.
Steve Novak scored seven points in 31 minutes off the bench and provides an offensive counterpoint to Brewer's scrappy defense. There's no reason to expect a sudden outburst from Brewer, whose role could decrease further once Iman Shumpert is healthy.

Mon Nov 26 201221:59Ronnie Brewer dislocated finger on Monday
Ronnie Brewer suffered a dislocation to his left ring finger in Monday's game against the Nets.
Even with Jason Kidd out of the lineup, Brewer was only able to score three points with five boards, one steal and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes. The injury is to his non-shooting hand and it's unclear how long he will be out of the lineup. He is not on the radar in standard leagues.

Sun Nov 25 201209:32Ronnie Brewer still bothered by sore knee
Ronnie Brewer's surgically-repaired knee continues to be an issue, according to the NY Post.
Brewer played just 15 minutes on Friday and he's bleeding minutes to J.R. Smith and Steve Novak. He was hot to start the season but has since cooled off, and lingering knee issues would explain the quick 180.

Thu Nov 15 201223:11Brewer scores just nine in start vs. Spurs
Ronnie Brewer played just 18 minutes and had nine points, three rebounds, one steal and one 3-pointer in the win over the Spurs on Thursday.
Jason Kidd and J.R. Smith have been playing tremendous basketball, which has limited the opportunities for Brewer to contribute. He has a nice role with the Knicks and he may have a tough time playing 25 minutes on a regular basis.

Brewer sat out most of the second half Tuesday after his surgically repaired knee flared up. It doesn't sound like he'll miss much time, but this may be an ongoing issue throughout the season. Don't feel the need to hold on to him.

Wed Nov 14 201209:52Ronnie Brewer sits after knee swells up
Ronnie Brewer sat out most of the second half Tuesday after his surgically repaired knee swelled up.
Brewer's struggles Tuesday night (three points on 1-of-3 shooting and three rebounds) likely had something to do with the knee issue. This doesn't sound like a huge deal, but we're going to mark him as sidelined for the time being. We'll monitor the situation in case it becomes more than that.

Tue Nov 13 201222:15Ronnie Brewer disappears Tuesday
Ronnie Brewer started again for the Knicks on Tuesday, but hit just 1-of-3 shots for three points and three rebounds after being picked up in many fantasy leagues.
Brewer came in averaging 10.5 points, seven rebounds and 1.8 3-pointers in his four games, but never got it going tonight. Maybe he'll bounce back in his next game, but he's far from a must-own player at this point.

Sat Nov 10 201203:13Ronnie Brewer playing well for Knicks
Ronnie Brewer had 13 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers in a start at shooting guard for the Knicks on Friday.
Brewer had 13 points and 10 boards on on Monday, meaning he's officially worth a look in all leagues. But with J.R. Smith waiting in the wings, don't drop a good player, like Smith, for Brewer.

Mon Nov 5 201222:46Ronnie Brewer double-doubles vs. Sixers
Ronnie Brewer double-doubled with 13 points, 10 rebounds, and a steal in Monday's blowout win over the Sixers.
Brewer went 5-of-8 from the field and 3-of-4 from long distance, and with averages no higher than 0.3 3PM/game in the past two seasons it's safe to say this entire line qualifies as a fluke. We need to see him produce consistently before we'll green light him in most formats.

Wed Oct 24 201222:47Ronnie Brewer struggles in start vs. Nets
Ronnie Brewer scored 12 points on 4-of-14 shooting to go along with three steals, two rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes Wednesday.
With the Knicks going for a bigger lineup, Brewer got the start at SG. Still, he shot the ball poorly and remains a questionable fantasy asset at this point.

Tue Oct 23 201200:54Ronnie Brewer (knee) returns to action
Ronnie Brewer (knee) returned to action on Monday against the Sixers, playing 16 minutes with zero points, four rebounds, and three assists.
Brewer missed both of his shot attempts and it's okay to give him a pass for tonight's production, but expecting him to take advantage of the recent Knicks injuries is another story. He needs to show us something before we recommend drafting him in most formats.

Sat Oct 20 201210:33Ronnie Brewer (knee) hopes to play Monday
Ronnie Brewer (knee) could practice on Sunday and play in Monday's preaseason game.
Brewer projects as the Knicks' starting SG, though he'll face competition from J.R. Smith and (once healthy) Iman Shumpert. Brewer's conditioning is a work in progress, but he's been lifting weights and sprinting on court without any discomfort in his knee.

Fri Oct 19 201208:11Ronnie Brewer not expected to play until Mon.
Ronnie Brewer (knee surgery) is unlikely to make his preseason debut before Monday.
