It's a minor concern for the rookie and shouldn't keep him out of action, so we're not going to be marking him on the injury report.

De Colo drained 3-of-4 shots from beyond the arc, teaming up with Manu Ginobili (14 points, 10 assist) in the second unit. As a consequence of De Colo's sudden return, Patty Mills got a DNP-CD and Gary Neal played two minutes.

Manu Ginobili was out and the game wasn't that close, but this type of line is why we've had our eye on his Dynasty value. In redraft leagues one would need to be in a massive format to give him a look.

The Spurs found out quite a bit about their rookie in his career-high minute total and that could be valuable information come playoff time. The kid showed he is capable of filling up a box score, but he won't have fantasy value while the Spurs are even close to full strength.

Tim Duncan heaped praise on rookie Nando De Colo, singling out his basketball IQ.

"His level of basketball intelligence is there," Duncan said. "He's got some great skill, and I didn't know him or expect anything of him." Stephen Jackson has already called De Colo "another Manu Ginobili," and it wouldn't be surprising to see him climb up the PG depth chart if he continues to have success. Keep an eye on him from a distance.
