Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) carries a questionable tag ahead of Sunday's matchup in Oklahoma City. Embiid had the same designation before Friday's loss to Brooklyn but still managed to suit up, finishing with 19 points, eight boards, four assists, and two blocks. With Andre Drummond (ankle) trending in the wrong direction after being marked as doubtful, Georges Niang and Paul Reed could get some additional run against the Thunder. Neither man has much value beyond the matchup against OKC in seasonal formats, although they have some appeal in DFS contests.

Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond (ankle) is unlikely to be in the lineup against Oklahoma City on Sunday. The veteran is currently dealing with a sprained right ankle, an injury he picked up during Friday night's loss to the visiting Nets. Joel Embiid (knee), who was questionable against Brooklyn but still managed to suit up, carries the same designation once again heading into the bout against the Thunder. If neither man can play, former Jazz forward Georges Niang will gain some appeal as a value option in DFS contests. However, his worth in seasonal formats isn't as favorable. Sophomore Paul Reed may also get some work, although Niang should remain the preferred option between the two across the board.

Atlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari (shoulder) is out against the Cavaliers on Saturday, marking his second-straight absence. The veteran has yet to suit up this season, and his omission from the lineup during the opener against the Mavericks allowed Kevin Huerter to receive more minutes and Cam Reddish to finish at the team's top scorer. Huerter didn't play well against Dallas, and because his DFS price reflects the shoddy statistical output, his potential to smash his value is certainly there.

Miami Heat guard Kyle Lowry (ankle) is considered a game-time call for Saturday's matchup against the Pacers. The veteran sprained his left ankle during Thursday's bout against the Milwaukee Bucks, relegating him to only 24 minutes of action. He also shot an abysmal 1-for-8 from the floor, and he finished with just five points during his debut with his new squad. Nonetheless, regardless of Lowry's designation, the ailment may continue to limit him from a production and minutes standpoint. As a result, Tyler Herro, who posted 27 points against the defending champs, could be in store for another efficient outing.

Milwaukee Bucks guard Jrue Holiday (heel) is available for Sunday's contest in San Antonio. The veteran sustained a bruised heel during the opening night win over the Brooklyn Nets and was held out of action during the blowout loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday. With Holiday back in the mix, George Hill's fantasy ceiling will drop to some degree, although he should continue to get minutes from off the bench. However, rookie Justin Robinson probably won't see the floor much, if at all, and Grayson Allen could see a slight dip in production on the offensive end.

Charlotte Hornets guard Terry Rozier (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's clash against the Nets. Rozier didn't play on opening night because of a sprained right ankle. However, he took the floor on Friday evening against the Cavaliers but managed to log only 23 minutes of work. However, even if he does suit up, there is a chance he could be limited, so fantasy managers may want to consider other options if at all possible. Nonetheless, Ish Smith and Kelly Oubre Jr. may continue to benefit, regardless of Rozier's designation against Brooklyn.

Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine totaled 32 points, six rebounds, five assists, one block and six turnovers on 11-for-19 shooting from the field and 6-for-9 from three-point range in Friday's 128-112 victory against the Pelicans. LaVine bounced back from a slow start and exploded offensively to finish with another 30-plus point performance to begin the season. LaVine is the main option on the new-look Bulls and one of the top overall shooting guard options across all fantasy formats, making the 26-year-old a must-start player for Saturday's game against the Pistons.

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant finished with 29 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block, one three-point field goal and two turnovers on 9-for-20 shooting from field goal range in Friday's 114-109 victory against the Sixers. Additionally, Durant went a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line to lead the Nets to a comeback victory alongside guard James Harden and forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge. Durant was a top-five pick in the majority of fantasy leagues for a reason and he will continue to post monster numbers for the Nets going forward.

Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis struggled a bit with his shot, but ended up with another productive fantasy night in Friday's loss to Phoenix. Davis shot just 6-for-18 from the field but made 10 of 11 free-throws en route to 22 points. He added 14 rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and a steal in 38 minutes for his second straight double-double. The star big man has played at least 38 minutes in each of the first two games this year while attempting a combined 44 shot attempts. Davis' usage appears to be unaffected by the addition of Russell Westbrook- and another strong campaign looks to be on the horizon so long as he can stay healthy.

Phoenix Suns guard Chris Paul tallied 23 points, 14 assists, five rebounds, two steals, and a three-pointer in Friday's win over the Lakers. Paul only played 29 minutes but was all over the place, posting his second straight double-digit assists effort while aggressively attacking the basket, knocking down all 10 of his free-throw attempts. The veteran guard continues to age gracefully in year 17. Paul will look to make it three straight games with 10-plus assists against a Portland team that surrendered an average of 24.9 of them per game last year.

San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray struggled with his shot but still managed to leave his mark on the game in Friday's loss to the Nuggets. Murray shot just 7 of 18 en route to 15 points but chipped in nine rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a three-pointer. Murray has failed to exceed 40 percent shooting in both contests but has taken at least 17 shots while handing out no fewer than six assists. The 25-year-old looks poised to return early-round value on the strength of increased usage on offense and his usual defensive excellence.

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic had a vintage game in Friday's win over the Spurs. Jokic scored an efficient 32 points on 14-for-19 shooting from the field, pulling down a whopping 16 rebounds while handing out seven dimes in 34 minutes. The Joker knocked down both of his three-point attempts and gifted fantasy managers with three steals and a block on the defensive end. Jokic did turn the ball over six times, but that's a side-effect of the massive role he's taking on without Jamal Murray (knee) in the lineup. Fantasy managers should expect many more monster lines like this one from their first-round pick this season.

Washington Wizards guard Spencer Dinwiddie came up huge for his team in a 135-134 win over the Pacers. With star guard Bradley Beal (hip) ruled out, Dinwiddie entered the starting five, playing a whopping 35 minutes while leading the team in shots, 24, points, 34, assists, nine, and three-pointers made, six. He also tacked on six rebounds and made both of his free-throw attempts. Dinwiddie endured a lost season last year due to injuries but was a star off the bench as recently as during the 2019-20 campaign, which saw him average over 20 points with nearly seven assists per game. He won't have this kind of upside when Beal is active, but the Wizards will need his scoring and playmaking off the bench, making him someone worth rostering.

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner enjoyed one of the best games of his career in Friday's overtime loss to the Wizards. Turner poured in a career-high 40 points while matching his career-best mark with five triples- chipping in 10 rebounds, three blocks, and a steal in 44 minutes. Known primarily as a defense-first player, the big man was looking for his shot early and often in this one, as he entered the locker room at halftime with 24 points on 90 percent shooting. While fantasy managers shouldn't expect big scoring nights like this from Turner often, his seven blocks and six three-pointers in two games make him a rare big man in the land of fantasy basketball.

New York Knicks guard/forward Evan Fournier put up 18 points in Friday's big victory over Orlando, shooting 5-for-12 from the field and 4-for-5 at the line. The Knicks posted a new franchise record with 24 three-point makes and Fournier played his part with four treys. He dished out three assists against his former team and collected two rebounds and two steals with two turnovers in 27 minutes. The Frenchman has looked very good in his first couple of outings in a Knicks uniform and can pick up further confidence in Sunday's rematch with the Magic. Orlando boasts a horrible 121.9 defensive rating and should be easy prey for the Knicks.

New York Knicks power forward Julius Randle finished Friday's 121-96 victory over Orlando with 21 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. He led the team in the first two categories while sharing the lead in assists with Derrick Rose and Alec Burks. Randle added a pair of steals to his line and had four turnovers in 30 minutes, shooting 9-for-16 from the field and 2-for-6 from downtown. The 26-year-old had a huge year in 2020-21 and looks ready to take another step in his development. Look for him to crush the Magic again on Sunday.

Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Kelly Oubre Jr. did some really good bench scoring in Friday's clash with Cleveland, picking up 25 points in 29 minutes off the pine in a 123-112 win. He missed only four of his 13 shots from the field and went 4-for-7 from downtown with a 3-for-3 record at the line. His night also included three rebounds, one assist and one steal. Being a bench player isn't nice, but Oubre Jr. can still be a factor even if his minutes are a bit limited and it looks like he fits in well in Charlotte. Oubre Jr. will try to impress once more against the Nets on Sunday. Brooklyn has started the year with a lowly 117.7 defensive rating.

While it has been just two games, Sacramento Kings small/power forward Harrison Barnes is off to a dominant start to the 2021-22 campaign. Barnes followed up his 36-point showing from the opener with a 25-point, 15-rebound performance in Friday's loss to Utah. Barnes appears to have taken his game to a new level, combining for 39 shot attempts over his first two games; in his first two and a half years with the Kings, Barnes has never averaged above 11.1 field-goal attempts per contest. Those fantasy managers who drafted Barnes for his consistency have gotten an early reward, though time will tell how sustainable the increased offensive output can be.

If the first two games of the season are any indication, Sacramento Kings shooting guard/small forward Buddy Hield is certainly embracing his role as the team's No. 1 offensive option off the bench. Hield launched 15 threes during Friday's loss to the Jazz en route to scoring 24 points, as he knocked down six of those attempts from deep. While Hield did not attempt a free throw despite taking 21 shots, he helped his scoring effort by snatching seven rebounds. The Kings will again have a crowded wing this season, but Hield appears to still be the cream of the crop, irrespective of whether or not he's among the starting five.

Houston Rockets power forward/center Christian Wood put his myriad of skills on display during his team's convincing win over Oklahoma City on Friday, collecting 29 points and 14 rebounds across his 33 minutes. Wood was almost unguardable, shooting 12-for-18 from the floor overall, including going 4-for-6 from behind the arc. He polished off his scorching night of production with three blocked shots, showcasing the elite fantasy upside that he possesses on a nightly basis. After two favorable matchups to begin the 2021-22 year, he runs into the Celtics defense on Sunday, who stand to offer far more resistance. Still, Wood's star is only just ascending.
