Houston star James Harden is the subject of a civil lawsuit filed by Moses Malone Jr. that alleges the Rockets' guard orchestrated a beating and robbery last summer after he was angered by a Facebook post from Malone.Malone alleges that Harden paid $20,000 to have him beaten.Harden was allegedly peeved at Malone's comments on June 24, 2016 that sharply criticized him for charging $249 for his basketball camp.On the night of June 25, Malone arrived at a strip club called V Live that he and Harden frequently attended. C Zaza Pachulia was called for a foul Sunday on the play that resulted in Spurs F Kawhi Leonard re-injuring his ankle. Leonard said he thought Pachulia's play -- he stepped under Leonard on a long jump shot -- was not intentional. Warriors F Kevin Durant agreed. "Zaza's not a dirty player," Durant said. "We're not that type of team. I wish it didn't happen. Hopefully (Leonard) plays next game and his ankle gets better."

New York Knicks president Phil Jackson reiterated his desire to trade All-Star F Carmelo Anthony to a team in position to contend for an NBA title. Jackson said he feels Anthony should waive his no-trade clause that would allow the Knicks to explore trade options for the 10-time All-Star. "We'd like him to have success," Jackson told ESPN on Friday during a break in the action at the NBA Draft combine in Chicago. "The opportunity is narrowing. We'd just like him to have success somewhere. We're not going to be there. Hopefully, we'll be maybe a playoff team next year. It would be tough to consider us a possible champion." Jackson said last month that Anthony, who turns 33 on May 29, "would be better off somewhere else" to pursue a championship.
