The NBA acknowledged in its "Last Two Minute Report" on Saturday that the Boston Celtics should have had an extra second on the clock to run a final play in their Game 6 loss to the Washington Wizards.John Wall made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 3.5 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to give Washington a 92-91 lead on Friday. The Wizards had a foul to give and forward Kelly Oubre Jr. fouled Boston center Kelly Olynyk with 1.7 seconds on the clock. The league's report noted that Oubre's foul was "whistled with approximately 2.7 seconds on the clock but the clock runs to 1.7 seconds before stopping. The clock should have been stopped earlier automatically on the whistle or by the neutral clock operator."The league also noted that "Instant replay is not permitted in this situation."Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas missed an off-balance 3-point heave before the buzzer, setting up a Game 7 on Monday in Boston. The report also revealed that Washington had two missed calls go against it in the final minute Friday.First, the league determined that Al Horford committed an offensive foul on Bradley Beal with 41.2 seconds remaining when setting up a screen for Avery Bradley's jumper, which put the Celtics up 89-87. The basket should have been disallowed.Second, the report says Horford should have been called for defensive three-seconds violation with 33 seconds remaining. Had that call be made, a technical foul and a free throw would have been the result.

G Avery Bradley torched the Wizards for 25 of his 29 points in the first half of Wednesday's 123-101 victory over Washington that gave the Celtics a 3-2 lead in their Eastern Conference best-of-seven semifinal series. Bradley, playing on balky hips, went 10 for 13 from the floor and 4 for 5 from 3-point range in the first half as the Celtics used a 16-0 first-quarter burst to take control and hold home-court serve in the series. "It can't just be Isaiah Thomas every night," Bradley said. "Tonight it happened to be me. Next game it could be Marcus Smart. You just have to be prepared. If we're able to understand that and he's able to believe in us, the sky's the limit." Bradley's 25 in the first half was already his career playoff high and his 29 -- he rested in the fourth quarter and logged only 30:27 -- left him one point shy of becoming the first Celtic other than Thomas to score 30 in game since Bradley on Oct. 29, which was the game of the season. "I had no idea that Avery had 25 at halftime and I had no idea that Isaiah had one field goal until I looked at the stat sheet, because we were making the right plays," Celtics coach Brad Stevens said. "That's really all you're looking for." Bradley also picked up his second career technical foul, saying: "I can't get any more technicals. I need to save my money."
