MILWAUKEE (AP) — Milwaukee's city attorney says police officers did nothing wrong when they used a stun gun on Bucks' player Sterling Brown during his arrest over a parking violation in January.The city attorney's assertion in response to a lawsuit Brown filed in June is a stark contrast to the police chief's conclusion that his officers acted inappropriately. Eleven of the officers involved in Brown's arrest were disciplined or retrained.The Journal Sentinel reports that Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett was surprised by the city attorney's response. Barrett says he wasn't briefed on it before it was filed in federal court Friday night.Brown alleges in the lawsuit that officers targeted him because he is black and that their use of force was unwarranted. Police Chief Alfsonso Morales apologized to Brown for the officer's actions.
