Fri May 12 202310:08Kevin Durant Solid In Game 6 Loss
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant got off to a slow start during Thursday's Game 6 against the Denver Nuggets. The All-Star forward only hit 1-of-10 shots from the floor to begin the contest. He ended up getting into a flow, but it was too late by then. Durant finished the game with 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the Game 6 loss. The Suns will look to add depth around Durant heading into next season. The absence of Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton certainly hurt the Suns chances during this series. The performances of Devin Booker and Durant weren't enough to overcome the Nuggets.

Mon May 8 202309:58Kevin Durant Fills The Box Score In Game 4
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant was back to his efficient self and made an impact all over the court in Sunday's Game 4 against the Nuggets. Durant sat for only four minutes and finished with 2-for-4 shooting from downtown while hitting 12-for-13 at the charity stripe. The veteran superstar has been very aggressive in getting to the line in the last two games and it's given his scoring numbers a big boost. With Devin Booker also in top form, the Suns are looking very dangerous. On Sunday, the two became the first duo in NBA history to each record 35 points, five rebounds and five assists in consecutive playoff games.

Sat May 6 202310:54Kevin Durant Drops 39 Points In Game 3
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant finished with 39 points in Friday's postseason win over Denver. He also had nine rebounds, eight assists, and two blocks. Durant and Devin Booker put on a show in Phoenix on Friday night, with both men combining for 86 points to help their team avoid going down 3-0 in this series. Of course, the absence of Chris Paul (groin) is not ideal. However, Durant should benefit from a production standpoint without Paul on the floor, which is something DFS managers should keep in mind for Game 4.

Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant cashed in another efficient night at the office while the Suns took a four-point win over the Denver Nuggets on Thursday. The former MVP registered 29 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one block while shooting 9-for-18 from the floor and 6-for-10 from beyond the arc. Even if the Suns had clinched a specific seed, Durant would probably still see some minutes since the team still needs time to gel before the playoffs. Fantasy managers will be happy to see him remain on the floor after all of the injury issues this season.

Thu Mar 9 202310:58Kevin Durant Could Miss Rest Of Regular Season
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (ankle) was scratched from the lineup on Wednesday night after spraining his ankle during warmups. He was doing his normal routine when it looked like he either slipped or just stepped awkwardly and went down. According to Greg Moore of AZ Central, the team fears that he may have experienced a Grade 2 sprain that would force him to sit out four-to-six weeks. There still needs to be more tests done to see if this is the case, but it doesn't seem too promising at the moment for Durant's start with his new team.

Wed Mar 8 202322:45Kevin Durant Injures Left Ankle
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (ankle) was a late scratch ahead of Wednesday's meeting with OKC. The former MVP was set to make his home debut for the Suns. However, he slipped during pregame warmups and was subsequently ruled out because of a left ankle injury. Phoenix is looking to make a deep postseason run straight to the NBA Finals, so the team likely held Durant out as a precaution, although fantasy managers will anxiously await an update for Saturday's game in Sacramento. That said, Torrey Craig should be considered for fantasy rosters in case Durant misses time moving forward.

Wed Mar 1 202314:49Kevin Durant Ready For Suns Debut Wednesday
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant (knee) is set to make his team debut in Wednesday's matchup against Charlotte. He's listed as probable on the injury report, but the veteran superstar is fully expected to play. Durant has been recovering from an MCL sprain and hasn't played since Jan. 8, so the team likely won't want to push him too much in his first game back. Josh Okogie or Torrey Craig will be pushed to the bench by Durant and it will be a blow to the player's fantasy value, although there should still be a chance to play healthy minutes in the rotation.

Fri Feb 10 202313:152023 NBA Trade Deadline Breakdown - Fantasy Basketball Impacts
The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. Kyrie, KD, and Westbrook are all heading to new teams and we have been covering those trades and their fantasy impacts here at RotoBaller. But there were plenty of other lesser-known players who were dealt in the last few days and I wanted to go through and make sure we don't overlook some of these trades as some of those deals may even have more fantasy impact than the big moves. So here are some other trades that went down and my two cents on the increase or decrease in value that we should expect from the players involved for the remainder of the 2022-2023 fantasy basketball season.

Moves That Matter

These are very much in order of how much they matter. Let's start with the Spurs sending their starting center back up North where he started his career.Jakob Poeltl to the RaptorsI am a huge Poeltl fan and was close to acquiring him on multiple teams before the deadline. It was a curious move by Toronto to be buyers instead of sellers at the deadline, but Poeltl gives them the presence at the five they have been lacking all season and allows Siakam to shift over and play PF where he belongs.Poeltl is no longer a shutdown candidate and has legit top-50 upside with his multi-category abilities. His departure also makes ... [More]
Fri Feb 10 202309:25Navigating The Clippers Trade Deadline Moves - Fantasy Basketball Impact
The Los Angeles Clippers are in the heat of the congested Western Conference playoff race and were one of the more active franchises during Thursday's trade deadline. The Clippers had some glaring needs, specifically at the point guard position, and needed to surround their star forwards, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, with more talent to compete in the loaded Western Conference. The Clippers were able to execute three separate trades on Thursday. First off, the Clippers were able to secure Bones Hyland from the Denver Nuggets for a couple of second-round picks. Then, they set their eyes on veteran guard Eric Gordon in a three-team trade, sending off John Wall to the Houston Rockets and Luke Kennard to the Memphis Grizzlies. Lastly, the Clippers moved ...
