Sun Feb 1 201512:25Cole Aldrich: (Leg) Out Sunday
Aldrich (leg) will not play against the Lakers on Sunday.
This will be the second straight game that Aldrich misses with his leg injury. His next opportunity to get on the court will come against the Celtics on Tuesday.

Aldrich (leg) will not play Thursday against the Pacers.
Aldrich suffered a shin bruise in Wednesday's win over the Thunder, leaving the game after playing only seven minutes. He'll sit out Thursday and should be considered questionable to play Sunday against the Lakers. With Amar'e Stoudemire (wrist) also out, Jason Smith and Lou Amundson figure to see significant minutes Thursday.

Aldrich (leg) logged seven minutes and produced one rebound, one assist, and one block in Wednesday's win against the Thunder.
Aldrich is now three games back from his leg injury, and he hasn't been as effective as he had been before he went down. With the Knicks experimenting with multiple young lineups, it will be hard to count on Aldrich for steady fantasy production.

Aldrich won't return to Wednesday's game against the Thunder due to a left shin contusion.
Prior to his departure, Aldrich posted no points (0-2 FG), one rebound, one assist, and one block in seven minutes. With little depth due to injuries to Amar'e Stoudemire (ankle/wrist) and Andrea Bargnani (calf), Lou Amundson and Jason Smith will hold down the fort in the Knicks' frontcourt.

Aldrich was moved to a bench role for Thursday's game in London with Amar'e Stoudemire (knee) back in action and starting. Aldrich put up two points and four rebounds in 15 minutes off the bench.
Stoudemire received just eight minutes of action, which would seem to indicate that he's not healthy enough to play most games right now. That should allow Aldrich to step back into the starting role in the Knicks' next game Monday, but given Aldrich's underwhelming production recently, it's possible the Knicks could start to look at other players as their starting center going forward.

Aldrich scored seven points (3-6 FG, 1-1 FT) to go along with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 20 minutes Monday against the Grizzlies.
Aldrich struggled Monday, but the significant news in terms of his fantasy value is that Samuel Dalembert is expected to be waived. With Dalembert out of the picture, Aldrich will now have a more consistent role with the team.

Aldrich scored 12 points (6-10 FG, 1-2 FT), to go along with seven rebounds, and one steal in 20 minutes on Sunday.
Aldrich had another mildly impressive game on Sunday and remains a bit of an enigma on a Knicks team with an unpredictable future. Most of the guys in the front court are either battling injuries, or are not showing as much polish as Aldrich. While the center remains a guy who is healthy and has been producing well. With New York far out of the playoff picture they might decide to see what they have in Aldrich and give him more run going forward.

Aldrich got another start on Sunday and had his most impressive game yet. He finished with 12 points (6-16 FG, 0-2 FT), 19 rebounds, four steals, and a block in 34 minutes.
It was Aldrich's second double-double of the season and as long as the Knicks frontcourt is depleted he seems to be a reliable option for short-term assistance. Stoudemire is questionable again for Wednesday's game with a sore right knee, leaving the door open for Aldrich to have an extended role.

Aldrich scored a season-high 18 points (8-9 FG, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 24 minutes, starting in place of Amar'e Stoudemire (knee) on Saturday.
Aldrich has now started four of the past five games, scoring in double figures in four of those games as well as blocking 1.4 shots per contest. With Stoudemire out again Sunday and a possibility to return Wednesday, Aldrich has limited value, but is worth a look if you need blocks, a field goal percentage bump, rebounds and some points, as no other Knicks center has distinguished themselves this season.

Aldrich scored four points (2-5 FG) with one rebound and two assists in Saturday's loss to the Suns.
Aldrich got the starting nod for the second straight game while the Knicks rested Amare Stoudamire, but played just under 17 minutes and wasn't a major factor. His playing time is much too inconsistent for owners to trust, and he'll still have to contend with Samuel Dalembert for minutes when he does play. He's not a reliable fantasy option for the majority of fantasy leagues.

Aldrich scored 13 points (5-8 FG, 3-4 FT) and added 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 26 minutes of action on Thursday against the Bulls.
This is a fantastic outing from Aldrich. He hasn't wiggled his way into too many starting lineups throughout his career, but he has found a way onto a Knicks team that is desperate to uncover any players they can keep for the long term. It wouldn't be too surprising to find value in Aldrich this season as the Knicks need to figure out what assets they really have.
Thu Dec 18 201418:51Aldrich will start Thursday against Bulls
Aldrich will start Thursday against the Bulls.
Aldrich is averaging less than ten minutes a game, but will likely receive a boost Thursday with his insertion in the starting lineup. He will likely face a tough matchup, however, with Joakim Noah expected to play and Aldrich probably will still see 20 minutes or less with the news that Amar'e Stoudemire will actually play Thursday.

Aldrich is averaging just 9.3 minutes on the court over the 10 games that he's played in this season.
Aldrich is buried on the bench this season and won't likely see much time on the court unless injuries sweep over New York. Unless this comes to fruition, expect Aldrich to stay limited off the bench as the season continues.
Mon Jul 14 201415:36Cole Aldrich not playing on Monday night
Cole Aldrich will not play on Monday.
He has a calf injury and it's not considered serious. Aldrich has a chance for minutes with the Knicks dealing away Tyson Chandler and we've all seen how quickly Samuel Dalembert can fall out of the rotation.

Sat Jul 12 201415:54Cole Aldrich out with a calf injury on Sat.
Cole Aldrich (left calf) will not play against the Blazers on Saturday.
He had a wrap around his lower leg, but wasn't really walking with a limp. Aldrich was fantastic vs. the Mavericks on Friday and he might just be resting in the second half of a back-to-back. He could get minutes next season.

Fri Jul 11 201420:10Knicks re-sign center Cole Aldrich
Knicks re-sign center Cole Aldrich.
Aldrich looked great in Friday's Summer League game and in the real world he's a serviceable backup big as long as he can stay healthy. If the Knicks don't beef up the position he could have some late value in fantasy leagues.

Fri Jul 11 201418:44Cole Aldrich looks massive on Friday
Cole Aldrich set up shop in the paint during Friday's game vs. the Mavericks, finishing with nine points, 14 boards, two assists and three blocks in 31 minutes.
He was easily the best big man in this game and looked like an All-Star. Aldrich had a couple big games for the Knicks last season and he could be looking at a bigger role now that Tyson Chandler is gone. He's a possible pick late in drafts for those who missed out on a center.

Thu Apr 17 201400:14Cole Aldrich looks great on Wednesday night
Cole Aldrich filled the stat sheet against the Raptors during a 95-92 win with 13 points, 16 boards, one assist, two steals and five blocks in 40 minutes.
He had a double-double on Tuesday and finished the season about as well as anyone would have thought. Tyson Chandler did not play tonight and it allowed Aldrich to get serious run as the primary option in the paint. Aldrich was a lottery pick with the Thunder and there's a decent chance this will be his best game of his career from a fantasy standpoint.

Wed Apr 16 201418:36Cole Aldrich will start on Wednesday
Updating a previous item, Cole Aldrich will start against the Raptors on Wednesday.
He had a double-double on Tuesday and will carry some momentum into tonight. He's a fantasy option with Tyson Chandler sitting out.

Wed Apr 16 201418:23Cole Aldrich won't play on Monday
Cole Aldrich will not play against the Raptors on Wednesday.
The Knicks won't have Tyson Chandler tonight and will likely give Jeremy Tyler some extra playing time. Aldrich looked good with a double-double on Tuesday, so his last game of the season was arguably one of his best.
