C Festus Ezeli and C Andrew Bogut sacrificed their stats for the sake of the team Monday night. They held Pistons C Andre Drummond to 14 points and 15 rebounds in Golden State's eighth consecutive win. Drummond's boards were nearly offset by Bogut's nine and Ezeli's two. The duo also found time for 16 points (eight apiece), outscoring the Pistons standout. Drummond torched the Trail Blazers for 29 points and 27 rebounds in a Detroit win Sunday night.

Ezeli averaged 4.4 points, 0.2 assists, 2.1 rebounds, and 0.9 blocks in 11 minutes per game for 46 regular season games in 2014-15.
After missing the 2013-14 season due to required surgery on his right knee, Ezeli came back and had a small bench role for the Warriors in 2014-15. He still dealt with injuries this past season as well, calling into question his long-term durability. If Ezeli can stay healthy and properly develop, then he could earn more minutes off the bench. For fantasy, though, he doesn't warrant use in standard leagues yet.

Ezeli (illness) scored five points (1-1 FG, 3-4 FT), grabbed five rebounds, and dished out one assist in 12 minutes against the Cavaliers during Thursday's Game 1 victory.
Even with the return of Marreese Speights (calf), Ezeli played more minutes than he did in Game 4 and Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. He even started the overtime period, but his minutes won't typically clear the 15-minute mark most nights.
Sat May 30 201515:27Ezeli didn't practice Saturday due to illness
Ezeli didn't practice Saturday due to an illness, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
Ezeli ramped up his workload during the Western Conference finals due to Marreese Speights' strained calf and occasional foul trouble from Andrew Bogut, earning at least 10 minutes in all five games of the series. During that stretch, Ezeli averaged 6.8 points (on 60 percent shooting), 6.0 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.8 blocks in 16 minutes. Speights is displaying signs that he may be available for The Finals, which start Thursday, but Ezeli has shown himself capable to produce when called upon.

Ezeli has played a total of 10 minutes through the first three games of the playoff series against New Orleans.
Ezeli is barely within coach Steve Kerr's postseason rotation as he comes off the bench in relief of Andrew Bogut. The Warriors often use Draymond Green and Marreese Speights at center as well, so there's little hope that Ezeli will all of a sudden be forced into a larger role at a later date.

Ezeli scored 14 points (4-6 FG, 6-7 FT) to go along with eight rebounds and one block in 15 minutes Monday against the Nets.
Ezeli sat out due a suspension Sunday against the Celtics, but put up a solid line in limited minutes Monday. He largely can't be counted on though by fantasy owners as he is only averaging 4.3 points and 3.1 rebounds a game this season.

Ezeli served his suspension Sunday against the Celtics and will be available to play Monday against the Nets.
Ezeli has logged multiple DNP-CD's over the past month, and while this news is good for the Warriors, it won't have much of an impact in fantasy.

Ezeli will be suspended for Sunday's contest at Boston, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Ezeli was ejected Friday following a tussle with the Raptors' Tyler Hansbrough. After serving the one-game ban, Ezeli will be available for Monday's outing in Brooklyn.

Ezeli (ankle) returned to the lineup during Tuesday's win over the Kings, but played only eight minutes, finishing with two points (1-2 FG, 0-2 FT) and five rebounds.
Ezeli played two games with Santa Cruz of the NBA D-League recently and averaged 21 minutes over those two games, so it's not surprising he at least got on the floor Tuesday. Continue to stay away from him until it's clear he's fully healthy, although even when he is healthy, it could be tough for him to get enough consistent minutes to be a fantasy relevant player. We'll have to wait and see what coach Steve Kerr decides to do moving forward.

Ezeli (ankle) was recalled from the D-League on Monday, Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Ezeli was sent to Santa Cruz on a rehab trip over the weekend. He appeared in two games off the bench, averaging 10.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in 21.1 minutes. He'll return to the Warriors and could be back on the floor as early as Tuesday in Sacramento after missing 18 straight games.

Ezeli (ankle) will begin a rehab stint in the D-League beginning Saturday, Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports reports.
Ezeli, who has missed 16 straight games, will report to the Santa Cruz Warriors for a short stint as he continues to work back from an ankle sprain. Golden State plays two games over the weekend, but if all goes well for Ezeli in the D-League, he could return to NBA action next week.

Ezeli (ankle) participated in a 3-on-3 scrimmage following Monday's practice, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Ezeli has missed 15 straight games with a sprained ankle but is expected to make his return in the near future. It could come as early as Tuesday against Chicago, though the big man may have trouble finding minutes on a nightly basis behind Andrew Bogut, David Lee and Marreese Speights.
Sun Jan 25 201523:18Ezeli (ankle) did not play Sunday
Ezeli (ankle) did not play Sunday.
Ezeli has missed 15 straight games with a sprained ankle. When he does return, it seems unlikely he'll be a part of the rotation from night to night considering how well all the other players have performed in his absence.
Sat Jan 17 201520:09Ezeli (ankle) won't play Saturday at Houston
Ezeli (ankle) won't play Saturday at Houston, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The DNP marks Ezeli's 10th in a row due to a sprained ankle. Because the rest of the Warriors' frontcourt is healthy, expect him to remain sidelined as long as his ankle is healing.

Wed Jan 7 201514:12Ezeli (ankle) ruled out for Wednesday's game against Pacers
Ezeli (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers, Carl Steward of Bay Area News Group reports.
Ezeli will miss his sixth consecutive game while working back from a sprained ankle. With Andrew Bogut (knee) also out, the Warriors will likely stick with Marreese Speights and Draymond Green as the starting frontcourt.
