Fri Jul 18 201413:55Quincy Miller (ankle) X-rays negative
Quincy Miller suffered a bad ankle injury during Wednesday's Summer League game, but X-rays came back negative.
"There's no fracture," Miller said. "That's a positive thing. I was happy it didn't break." Miller was carried off the floor on Wednesday, but it appears that it's just a bad sprain and a not a break. A timetable has not yet been given for his return, but he should be fine for training camp. Miller was lighting it up in the Summer League, averaging 18.7 points a game.

Wed Jul 16 201422:47Quincy Miller leaves SL game w/ ankle injury
Quincy Miller left Denver's Summer League game on Wednesday night with a right ankle injury, which required him being carried off the court.
That's all we know, so hopefully it's nothing serious. We should know more in the near future, but the fact it was an ankle and not a knee is probably a good thing.

Sun Jul 13 201422:14Quincy Miller stays hot vs. Bulls, scores 26
Quincy Miller stayed hot vs. the Bulls on Sunday, scoring a team-high 26 points with eight boards, three assists, one steal, three 3-pointers and no turnovers.
He shot 11-of-20 from the field and turned in a second great game following his 23-point gem on Saturday. Head coach Brian Shaw said last offseason that Miller is a lot like Paul George, so maybe he's just talking summer league. Miller is not really going to have a chance for regular playing time.

Wed Apr 16 201401:21Quincy Miller scores 11 in loss
Quincy Miller had 11 points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes of Tuesday's loss.
The Nuggets have nothing to play for and there's no reason Miller won't see heavy minutes and another start in Wednesday's finale against the Warriors.

Tue Mar 25 201401:19Miller scores 12 points in start for Chandler
Quincy Miller started for injured Wilson Chandler (groin) in Monday's blowout loss to the Thunder, scoring 12 points on 4-of-10 shooting (including a three) with four rebounds and a steal in 25 minutes.
If you're in a really deep league and want to gamble that Chandler gets shutdown then give him a look, but he needs to do more than this to get our attention in standard formats.

Mon Mar 24 201418:44Quincy Miller will start on Monday night
Coach Brian Shaw said he will start Quincy Miller at small forward on Monday vs. the Thunder.
He'll be charged with the unenviable task of guarding Kevin Durant to start the game, so that should be a real treat for him. Miller's season has been a mess for the most part, so fantasy owners really shouldn't be looking to use him. They've also used Darrell Arthur and Anthony Randolph at small forward sans Wilson Chandler (groin) and Arthur might be the best bet for stats tonight.

Wed Feb 12 201419:05Quincy Miller will move back to the bench
Quincy Miller will move back to the bench for Wednesday's game against the Wolves on Wednesday.
He had a dreadful game in his start on Monday, so the move is not surprising. Miller has some promise as a rotational guy, but he is not going to make much of an impact this season. Darrell Arthur moves into the starting lineup.

Mon Feb 10 201421:40Quincy Miller doesn't score in 27 minutes
Quincy Miller started at shooting guard against the Pacers on Monday, failing to score with five boards, one assist, one steal and three turnovers in 27 minutes.
Back in the preseason, coach Brian Shaw compared Quincy Miller to Paul George. Needless to say, Shaw won't be drawing that comparison ever again after tonight. Miller didn't keep his composure on offense and his perimeter defense was not very effective either. He can be ignored in most leagues.

Mon Feb 10 201411:50Quincy Miller starts for short-handed Nuggets
Quincy Miller will start at SG for the Nuggets on Monday, with Randy Foye sliding to PG in place of Ty Lawson (ribs).
Miller has started three times this season, during which he averaged 10.7 points, 0.7 threes, 5.7 rebounds and 0.7 blocks in 25.7 minutes per game. He's worth a glance as a short-term option for Denver's games on Monday and Wednesday, though he's unlikely to hold value on the far side of the All-Star break.

Tue Jan 14 201402:10Miller flames out with Chandler back
Quincy Miller flamed out with Wilson Chandler back in the lineup on Monday, scoring just seven points with four rebounds and a 3-pointer in 21 minutes.
Miller went off for 16 and 11 with one steal and two blocks on Saturday, sending many owners scurrying to the wire in the process. Randy Foye only logged 18 minutes tonight and Jordan Hamilton may get out of the doghouse one day, so there aren't a lot of things working in Miller's favor right now. Feel free to move on.

Sat Jan 11 201423:47Quincy Miller double-doubles as fill-in SF
Quincy Miller had a career night filling in for Wilson Chandler (hip) on Saturday, finishing an easy win vs. the Magic with 16 points, 11 rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
He struggled in his first career start on Thursday, in which he played just 20 minutes, and there was simply no way to see this double-double coming. The second-year forward may be of use if Chandler isn't able to suit up on Monday, but he's a shaky pickup unless Chandler is officially ruled out.

Fri Jan 10 201401:36Quincy Miller scores nine points in start
Quincy Miller played well in his 20 minutes as the starting small forward against the Thunder on Thursday, matching his career-high nine points with two boards and one 3-pointer.
Back in the preseason, coach Brian Shaw compared Miller to Paul George, but he's obviously got some work to do. Miller did do enough to keep himself in the starting lineup while Wilson Chandler (hip) is out and played well on defense. He's still not worth owning in most leagues.

Thu Jan 9 201420:53Quincy Miller will start at small forward
Quincy Miller will start in place of Wilson Chandler (hip) on Thursday night.
It will be first start of his career and he'll have a decent chance to break his career-high five points tonight. The Nuggets are very short-handed at small forward with Chandler and Danilo Gallinari (knee) out. Plus, Jordan Hamilton seems to have fallen out of favor with coach Brian Shaw. Miller is way off the fantasy radar right now.

Tue Jul 9 201313:56Quincy Miller working to get 3-point range
Nuggets forward Quincy Miller is working to expand his shooting range.
Miller said he is working on his 3-point shooting "more than anything," with the goal of carving out a spot in the second unit. He appeared in just seven games as a rookie, spending most of his time developing in the D-League, and we're not expecting a dramatic leap in 2013-14.

Miller was a second-round pick in 2012 and he wasn't getting any on-court experience with the Nuggets. He'll get plenty of burn with the Iowa Energy, where his new teammates include such well-known names as Ravern Johnson and Mike Efevberha.
