Roberson missed nine of his 11 shots, including all four of his 3-point attempts, in Oklahoma City's season-ending loss. The Thunder shot just 38.2 percent from the field and 25.9 percent on 3-pointers on their worst shooting night of the series.

Filling the old Thabo Sefolosha role for the Thunder last season, Roberson made providing stalwart defense his overriding priority, while rarely looking for his own offense. The 23-year-old attempted just three shots per game while averaging 19.2 minutes, numbers that could both see an uptick this season, but likely not to the level where he'd gain fantasy relevance outside of deeper leagues.

Roberson started 65 of 67 games played this season, but only averaged 3.4 points and 3.8 rebounds in 19.2 minutes per game for the Thunder.

Roberson was a regular member of Oklahoma City's starting lineup this season, but it certainly wasn't because of his offensive ability. To that point, Roberson shot 25 percent on three-pointers and 48 percent from the free throw line. Rather, the defensive-minded Roberson helped the Thunder guard perimeter players, a thankless task that results in minimal value in fantasy leagues.

Roberson will enter the starting lineup Friday against the Kings, The Oklahoman reports.

Roberson is no stranger to the starting lineup despite the fact that coach Scott Brooks continually limits his minutes. Nevertheless, Kyle Singler will head to the bench Friday.

There is a good chance that Roberson will eventually return to the starting lineup.

With little time left in the regular season this injury makes Roberson a hard player to own moving forward and he should probably be dropped across all leagues. In his absence Dion Waiters, Jeremy Lamb, and especially Anthony Morrow could all see extra time on the court.

Roberson connected on his only shot attempt, a three-pointer, while adding one rebound, one steal and four fouls in just 12 minutes during Monday's loss to the Mavericks.

He continues to start at shooting guard, but Roberson isn't getting anything close to starter's minutes. Roberson's got almost no fantasy value, even in deeper leagues, despite his spot in the Thunder's starting five, and that 'almost' will disappear once Kevin Durant returns to action.
