Lamar Odom is having more problems.On Monday, Odom was removed from a Delta Airlines flight after throwing up on the plane. Odom had been seen knocking back beers and whiskey prior to boarding the flight from Los Angeles to New York City.According to people on the flight, Odom bolted out of his first-class seat and threw up in the plane's galley. He made his way to the bathroom where he continued his purge, with the door open. He tried to return to his seat with vomit on his sweatpants.A flight attendant intervened and Odom was escorted off the plane. A cleaning crew came aboard to scrub away Odom's mess. But about 10 minutes later, Odom reappeared and steadied himself on his way back to the bathroom using passengers' heads for balance. The Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday traded guard Troy Daniels to the Memphis Grizzlies in exchange for cash considerations as part of a sign-and-trade deal.The Hornets will receive a trade exception, which will be available for one year.Daniels averaged 5.6 points and 1.3 rebounds in 11.1 minutes per game last season. He appeared in 43 games.

Daniels was expected to receive a token opportunity to challenge for a starting role with Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to miss most of the season with a shoulder injury, but that chance may have fallen by the wayside. After averaging only 12.3 minutes per game with the Hornets last season, Daniels was already being regarded as a fringe rotation option, and the injury has only made matters worse. It's not clear when he might be able to get back on the court for his preseason debut.

It's not exactly clear how he suffered the injury, but Daniels was forced to practice in limited fashion. Considering the regular season doesn't start till the end of October, Daniels has plenty of time to get healthy, so don't expect the Hornets to rush him back. He remains a three-point specialist in terms of his fantasy value, but likely won't be worth much in most standard fantasy leagues.

Daniels averaged 13.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.0 three-pointers in 31 minutes per game during the Orlando Pro Summer League.

Daniels surprised everyone when he pulled down 14 rebounds in a summer league game, leading to the tournament's fifth-best rebounding averaging during his four games. He shot 55 percent from downtown as the team's shooting guard. He'll compete with Jeremy Lamb, Jeremy Lin, and P.J. Hairston for backcourt minutes, but with the Hornets change in offensive philosophy, Daniels could steal a few minutes given his ability as a three-point specialist. However, he rarely provides much outside of the longball, and it'll make him easy to neglect in standard fantasy leagues.

Daniels found himself all over the NBA during the 2014-15 season, as after signing a two-year deal with the Rockets, he was traded to the Timberwolves in December and then traded once again in to the Hornets in February. In all, Daniels played in just 11 games for Charlotte and 47 total. In his 11 games with the Hornets, Daniels didn't make too significant of an impact, but proved his effectiveness as an outside shooter, shooting nearly 46 percent from behind the arc.

Daniels' effectiveness in the NBA does not go far beyond his three-point shooting. He is a specialist in that area and doesn't have much to offer inside the arc. He didn't play much throughout his second NBA season until the very end when, with the Hornets completely out of the playoff picture, Daniels got more run on the court. In the final four games of the season, Daniels played an average of 26 minutes, and in that time, averaged 14.0 points, including a career-high 24 points in the regular-season finale, on 19-of-44 shooting (43 percent) from the field and 12-of-26 shooting (46 percent) from behind the arc. For Daniels, the 2015-16 season will be his final season under contract and he will need to impress the league that he is worth another contract while he still has the opportunity. That, however, will not be easy, as Daniels will be fighting for minutes at a shooting guard position that includes Lance Stephenson, Gerald Henderson and P.J. Hairston.

Daniels made his debut with Charlotte on Sunday, playing one minute off the bench.

Daniels has several players ahead of him in the pecking order on the Hornets, and his only discernible skill is three-point shooting, making him a limited play in fantasy even if he were a big part of the rotation.

Daniels will not be present for the Hornets' game Tuesday after being traded there earlier in the day, the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell reports.

This applies to Mo Williams as well, as both of Charlotte's backcourt reinforcements will need to wait until after the All-Star break to make their debuts on their new teams.
