Stokes (illness) is considered questionable for Friday's game against the Celtics, Rob Fischer of Sports 56 WHBQ-87.7FM in Memphis reports.
The Grizzlies are dealing with a team-wide stomach bug that has affected many players, including Stokes. He managed to participate in the morning shootaround but will still be a game-time decision Friday.

Stokes scored four points (2-2 FG) and grabbed two rebounds in six minutes during the Grizzlies' 119-93 win versus the Rockets on Monday.
The game was a blowout early, and it's unlikely Stokes would have seen any time had it not been such a lopsided contest. Unless Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Kosta Koufos or Jon Leuer were to suffer an injury it doesn't look like Stokes will warrant consideration in fantasy as a rookie.
Wed Nov 12 201409:36Stokes will not see much
Stokes will not see much, if any action for quite a while, Geoff Calkins of The Commercial Appeal reports.
Coach Dave Joerger will trust the veterans on the Grizzlies bench while giving rookies Stokes and Jordan Adams time to improve. Stokes has yet to make his NBA debut so this doesn't come as that much of a surprise. Still, given that the Grizzlies only possess two other true backup big men in Kosta Koufos and Jon Leuer, there was some optimism that he may be able to earn a few minutes early in the year. However, this seems unlikely now unless the Grizzlies get hit by injuries, and even then Joerger has shown a willingness to use Tayshaun Prince at power forward. Until Stokes starts seeing some minutes he can probably be avoided in all formats except deep keeper leagues.
Mon Nov 10 201411:40Stokes recalled from Iowa of D-League on Monday
Stokes was recalled from Iowa of the D-League on Monday.
Stokes was assigned to Iowa to see some playing time, but the Grizzlies brought him back to the squad Monday. He isn't on the verge of seeing any NBA playing time, so don't be surprised to see him shuffle back and forth between Memphis and Iowa.
Sun Nov 9 201409:55Stokes contributed 13 points (6-13 FG
Stokes contributed 13 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 FT) and 13 rebounds in 36 minutes during the Energy's 103-81 loss versus the Skyforce on Saturday, and is set to rejoin the Grizzlies on Sunday, Chip Williams reports.
He also had four turnovers, but it was still a nice performance. It's not clear whether the Grizzlies plan to have Stokes play a lot in the D-League this season, but he is still yet to make his NBA debut. Physically he is ready to play at the NBA level, but until he starts seeing time he's not worthy of consideration in fantasy.
Sat Nov 8 201414:51Stokes assigned to Iowa Energy of D-League
Stokes has been assigned to the Iowa Energy of the D-League.
Stokes hadn't been seeing the court for Memphis, so this is the best course of action for his development.
Sat Nov 8 201414:00Stokes stuck on bench throughout first six games of season
Stokes has been stuck on the bench throughout the first six games of the season.
The Grizzlies are set up front with Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol as starters with Jon Leuer and Kosta Koufos coming on in relief. Other than those four players, there's not much room for Stokes to come into the game on any given night.
Mon Aug 18 201418:11Stokes signed three-year deal with Grizzlies on Monday
Stokes signed a three-year deal with the Grizzlies on Monday, the Memphis Commercial Appeal's Ronald Tillery reports.
Memphis traded for Stokes, who the Utah Jazz drafted with the 35th overall pick this past June, on draft day, and he was impressive in summer league play. The Grizzlies have a clear need for production at the small forward spot, with Tayshaun Prince and Vince Carter both on the downward swing of their careers, but Stokes probably won't see many minutes right away.
