C Greg Monroe and two protected 2018 draft picks were dealt from the Bucks to the Suns on Tuesday for G Eric Bledsoe. Monroe hasn't played since Oct. 26 due to a left calf strain. He averaged 6.8 points and 5.0 rebounds in five games for Milwaukee this season.

The fine was announced Tuesday by the Kiki VanDeWeghe, the league's executive vice president of basketball operations. The incident occurred with 1:15 remaining in the second quarter of the Hornets' 112-94 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday at Target Center in Minneapolis.

SG Dion Waiters missed his second straight game. Waiters, who averages 15.9 points per game, returned to Miami for the Sunday birth of his daughter. He will rejoin the team Tuesday in Phoenix and return to the lineup Wednesday against the Suns.
