G Kyrie Irving took charge against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.Irving scored 12 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter, and the Celtics won their ninth in a row after two opening losses, defeating the Hawks 110-107.Irving, acquired by Boston from the Cleveland Cavaliers before the season, made four 3-pointers, shot 14 of 22 overall and dished out seven assists in his best game with the Celtics. He was coming off an 11-point outing in a Sunday victory at Orlando.Irving, who also had seven assists against the Hawks, is averaging 22.3 points, 5.7 assists and an NBA-best 2.2 steals per game.

G Eric Bledsoe was fined $10,000 by the NBA for a tweet from last month in which he said, "I don't want to be here," general manager Ryan McDonough told AZCentral.com. McDonough confirmed the comment on Sunday to AZCentral.com but declined to elaborate. The NBA had not announced the fine as of Monday afternoon.

F Carmelo Anthony was ejected after a "flagrant foul two" call on a drive to the hoop Sunday in the third quarter. The basket was initially counted and a foul called on Portland's Jusuf Nurkic. After video review, the call was overturned and a foul administered to Anthony, "I didn't see the replay, so I'm trusting the officials," Oklahoma City coach Billy Donovan said. "But I've never seen in my entire life a guy get an 'and-one' and then get thrown out of the game. That's something the league or the officials need to handle. If you're standing right there, I don't know how you don't see that. They take away two points and the 'and-one' and throw him out? That doesn't seem right."
