Wed Nov 5 201413:18Jordan Farmar: Limited Behind Chris Paul
Farmar has played only 12.8 minutes per game for the Clippers this season as the backup to Chris Paul at point guard.
While Farmar has been a useful, low-end fantasy player in the past, his value is quite limited with Chris Paul ahead of him on the depth chart. With that said, if anything happens to Paul, Farmar would become a must-add player. Keep him on your watch list, as the starter has been nicked up the past few years.

Farmar (back) came off the bench for 23 minutes in Friday's preseason finale against Portland and was able to put up four points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist.
Farmar had to leave Saturday's preseason game against the Nuggets with lower back tightness and was then forced to miss the next two games until returning against Portland on Friday. The veteran will now likely be available for the season opener against the Thunder on Thursday while providing the Clippers with valuable minutes off the bench.
Wed Oct 22 201421:08Farmar (back) will not play in Wednesday's preseason contest
Farmar (back) will not play in Wednesday's preseason contest, Brad Turner of the LA Times reports.
Farmar has yet to take the court since exiting Saturday's game due to lower back tightness. His status is currently uncertain for Friday's preseason finale.
Tue Oct 21 201421:12Farmar (back) won't play in Tuesday's preseason game
Farmar (back) won't play in Tuesday's preseason game, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports.
He left Saturday's game with lower-back tightness, and should be considered day-to-day for now.

Farmar left Saturday's preseason game against the Nuggets with lower back tightness and did not return, the Clippers' official site reports.
This doesn't seem like it will develop into a significant concern, but we will let you know if that assessment changes. The Clippers next preseason tilt comes Tuesday against Golden State.
Thu Jul 10 201400:26Clippers sign Jordan Farmar to contract
The Clippers signed G Jordan Farmar to a two-year, $4.2 million contract early on Thursday.
He'll be able to back up both guard spots and start when injuries require him to. He's a solid back up and sixth man candidate, especially if Jamal Crawford is involved in a sign-and-trade to play elsewhere this season.

Sun Jul 6 201418:52Jordan Farmar joins Clippers on two-year deal
Jordan Farmar and the Clippers have agreed to a two-year, $4.2 million contract, with the second season a player option.
L.A. lost Darren Collison in free agency and they did well to land a quality backup PG with their bi-annual exception. Farmar should take over most of Collison's 26 minutes per game. Although he played well for the Lakers last season, injuries limited Farmar to just 41 games played -- fantasy owners should view him as little more than a low-end source of 3-pointers and assists while Chris Paul is healthy.

Thu Jul 3 201413:27Clippers in conversations with Jordan Farmar
The Los Angeles Clippers have had conversations with unrestricted free agent Jordan Farmar, according to sources.
This isn't close to a done deal as Farmar reportedly has interest from three or four other teams, but the Clippers have upped their pursuit of back up point guards now that Darren Collison has signed with the Sacramento Kings. The 27-year-old averaged 10.1 points, 1.7 three-pointers, 2.5 boards, 4.9 assists, and 0.9 steals in 41 games with the Lakers during the 2013-14 season and would give the Clippers a solid insurance policy for Chris Paul.

Thu May 1 201417:02Jordan Farmar wants to remain a Laker
Jordan Farmar said that he hopes to remain a Laker despite the departure of former head coach Mike D'Antoni.
"I want to be a Laker," Farmar said. "Whether it's Phil Jackson, Mike D'Antoni or whoever else coaches this team, that won't deter me from wanting to be a Laker." Farmar, who is set to be a free agent this summer, has spent most of his years as a pro in a Lakers uniform and it is no surprise that the former UCLA Bruin wants to remain in the Los Angeles area. Farmar struggled with injuries this season, only appearing in 41 games with five starts.

Sat Apr 12 201402:52Farmar posts balanced line off the bench
Jordan Farmar posted a balanced line off of the bench on Friday against the Warriors, scoring nine points on 3-of-11 shooting with two 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in 29 minutes.
Starter Kendall Marshall (seven points, one three, three assists, one steal, 19 minutes) has found his way into Mike D'Antoni's doghouse, whereas Farmar is going to get significant minutes and produce as long as he is healthy. Get him into lineups if he's not there already.

Wed Apr 9 201401:40Jordan Farmar scores 15 in return to action
Jordan Farmar returned from his groin injury and hit 5-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, three steals and two blocks in Tuesday's bad loss to the Rockets.
He played 27 minutes, while Kendall Marshall got just 19 minutes from Mike D'Antoni. This could be a trend going forward, and Marshall's fantasy owners have to be concerned about the return of Farmar. If you need a body for the final few games of the season, grab Farmar now.

Tue Apr 8 201413:55Farmar, Nash both to play for Lakers
Jordan Farmar (groin) and Steve Nash (body) are both expected to play on Tuesday as expected, per coach Mike D'Antoni.
Kendall Marshall is expected to start, but he's going to have to take a minutes hit with these two making a return to action. This may or may not be Nash's last game of the season.

Sun Apr 6 201414:12Jordan Farmar is still out for Sunday vs. LAC
Jordan Farmar (groin) will not play against the Clippers on Sunday.
He wasn't really expected to play and has a hopeful target for Tuesday night. Farmar has been a per-minute dynamo as far as stats go this year, but his health has kept him down for much of the season. If you want to stash him as a possible plug-and-play for Tuesday, you should be dropping someone with little value.

Tue Apr 1 201414:44Jordan Farmar (groin) cleared to practice
Jordan Farmar (groin) has been cleared to practice and he hopes to return to action next week.
Even if Farmar returns for L.A.'s first game next week, on Tuesday, he'll have a maximum of five games remaining in the season. He should be left on the waiver wire at least until we've seen him on the court. With Steve Nash (nerves) also bouncing in and out of the PG rotation, there's no reason to rely on Kendall Marshall down the stretch.

Fri Mar 28 201411:24Jordan Farmar to be reevaluated over weekend
Jordan Farmar (groin) will be reevaluated over the weekend.
Farmar has only been practicing in a controlled setting, but the point guard will be looked at over the weekend after the Lakers return to Los Angeles in the hopes that he can begin practicing and return late next week. Steve Nash had joked that he need to return before Farmar so that he could keep his job, but it sounds like Kendall Marshall will be the de facto point guard for the Lakers at least until next week.

Tue Mar 18 201416:14Jordan Farmar (groin) out at least two weeks
Jordan Farmar will miss at least two weeks with a mild groin strain.
Farmar has been sidelined for much of the season due to hamstring problems, and this latest injury is the final straw for his fantasy value. With Steve Nash (nerves) not expected to return this season, Kendall Marshall has a clear path to playing time as the unquestioned starting PG.

Mon Mar 17 201416:20Jordan Farmar suffers right groin strain
Jordan Farmar suffered a right groin strain at Monday's practice.
He will see a specialist on Tuesday to determine his prognosis. This is horrible news for the Lakers and Farmar, who now looks like he'll be facing his fourth multiple-game absence from the lineup this season. He was lighting it up from beyond the arc since returning last month, but fantasy owners have no choice to bench him this week at the very least. Kendall Marshall becomes a must-own player again while the Lakers will use a multitude of guys to help handle the ball.

Fri Mar 14 201400:19Jordan Farmar scores 13 points vs. Thunder
Jordan Farmar scored 13 points vs. the Thunder on Thursday with two boards, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes.
He has been a potent force when it comes to scoring over his previous seven. In those games, Farmar averaged 16.4 points, 4.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 3.3 triples on 52.0 percent from the field. His usage rate has been solid at 25.8 percent while the massive output from downtown has given him a stellar 67.3 effective field goal percentage. He should be owned in all leagues.

Sun Mar 9 201418:37Jordan Farmar scores 12 points in 21 minutes
Jordan Farmar scored 12 points in 21 minutes against the Thunder on Sunday with three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.
The triples have certainly been there for Farmar, averaging 3.3 triples per game in his last seven. Farmar's minutes haven't been very high at just 23.4 per game in that stretch, but the treys along with some potent points, steals and dime totals make him worth owning in standard formats in an up-tempo system.

Sat Mar 8 201400:44Farmar scores 24 points off the bench
Jordan Farmar scored 24 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 8-of-14 shots (including four threes) with two rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block in just 21 minutes.
As long as the Lakers have gone full D'Antoni he's going to be worth owning in all formats. We'll let you know if that changes.
