Tolliver should move back to a bench role with Greg Monroe (knee) expected to be back in the starting lineup Tuesday against the Celtics.
Monroe missed the Pistons last 11 games with a strained knee, and Tolliver filled in as the starting power forward in Monroe's absence. As a bench player this season, Tolliver has averaged 5.6 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 three-pointers in 16 minutes per game through 60 contests as a reserve.

Tolliver had 15 points (5-9 3Pt), two rebounds, and an assist as the starting power forward Saturday against Miami.
Tolliver has been providing very solid production from three point range, averaging 2.8 treys over his last five games. His rebounding is inconsistent for a power forward, but his three point contributions make him a viable option while Greg Monroe (knee) is sidelined.

Tolliver started again Sunday with Greg Monroe (knee) out, but shot 0-for-7 from the floor in 25 minutes. He finished the game with just two rebounds, three assists and a block.
Even with Monroe out, Tolliver isn't worth using in any formats. He's scored in the single digits in each of his past three games, and is now shooting a combined 9-for-31 in his past four outings.

Tolliver notched 15 points (4-12 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, and one steal in 32 minutes replacing Greg Monroe (knee) in the starting lineup Tuesday.
Tolliver will likely return to a reserve capacity with Greg Monroe expected to play Wednesday after missing one game.
Tue Mar 17 201518:16Anthony Tolliver: Making Spot Start Tuesday
Tolliver will start at power forward with Greg Monroe (knee) out Tuesday, the Pistons' official site reports.
Tolliver is a three-point specialist, and even though he's starting, there's no guarantee he gets the bulk of the minutes. The Pistons are also expected to give Shawne Williams a lot of minutes.
Wed Feb 11 201501:42Tolliver had another good outing Tuesday against Hornets
Tolliver had another good outing Tuesday against the Hornets. He finished with 16 points (6-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, and an assist in 25 minutes of action.
Tolliver has now scored 15 or more points in two straight games. He has seen a spike in minutes from January, where he averaged 18 mpg, to February, where he's averaging 23.3 mpg. Even if his minutes plateau at 23, that's still a solid amount of time off the bench for the seventh-year man out of Creighton. If he keeps up this production, he'll be a good value addition to your lineup.

Tolliver scored 15 points (4-8 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), to go with four rebounds, and one assist, and a steal in 15 minutes on Sunday.
Tolliver has a diverse game and a veteran presence that allows him to help out a variety of teams. However, his value takes a hit because he's inconsistent with his production. When he does get minutes he can post totals like this, but without an injury that seems like it would be unlikely. Tolliver is a case where he's a better real life player than fantasy player.

Tolliver came off the bench to have one of his best games of the season during Tuesday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, finishing with 16 points (4-5 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 29 minutes.
Tolliver has played a lot more minutes over his last four games, averaging over 27 minutes during that span. He averaged only 17.1 minutes so far this year with the Pistons, so it's a good sign for his fantasy value moving forward with the increase in minutes. Over his previous four games he's averaging 11.5 points and 4.7 rebounds, so at best he could be worth a look in the deeper leagues.

Tolliver played 11 minutes and finished with 5 points (2-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and two rebounds in just his second game with the Pistons.
Tolliver has averaged 11 minutes in his two games which is on par with the 11 he was averaging before being traded from the Suns to the Pistons. Without a major injury to Detroit's frontcourt it is unlikely he will garner enough minutes to be relevant in anything but the deepest of fantasy leagues.
Mon Dec 29 201409:26Tolliver has yet to make debut for Pistons
Tolliver has yet to make his debut for the Pistons.
Tolliver was traded to the Pistons on Wednesday, and the team played two games over the weekend, but he did not see any action in either game. With Josh Smith no longer on the roster, coach Stan Van Gundy should be looking to use players like Tolliver who have the ability to stretch the floor out of the power forward position. Once he's acclimated to the team, Tolliver could be a player to keep on watch lists for the remainder of the season incase he secures a decent-sized role at some point.
Wed Dec 24 201412:44Tolliver traded from Suns to Pistons on Wednesday
Tolliver was traded from the Suns to the Pistons on Wednesday, ESPN reports.
Tolliver was moved as part of a deal that brought also sent Tony Mitchell to the Suns. He averaged 3.3 points and 1.8 rebounds in 11 minutes this sason while shooting just 35 percent of the field. He will likely be in a similar role with the Pistons, but could see more minutes in Detroit following the recent release of Josh Smith.

Tolliver has played in all but two games for Phoenix this season, although he's averaging just 10.9 minutes on the court per contest.
Tolliver is seeing limited minutes off the bench this season and that won't likely change as the year progresses. At just 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game, the veteran is better left on the waiver wire in everything but the deepest of leagues.

Tolliver has totaled 48 minutes in the Suns' past two preseason games.
Tolliver had a laceration on his finger that required stitches at the start of October. He's now played in two preseason games and the finger hasn't been an issue, so it should be safe to say it won't have any lasting consequences. He should have a role as a reserve forward with the Suns this season.
Wed Oct 8 201414:16Tolliver (finger) cleared to shoot at Wednesday's shootaround
Tolliver (finger) was cleared to shoot at Wednesday's shootaround, the Arizona Republic's Paul Coro reports.
Tolliver looked comfortable Wednesday, and the stitches in his hand will be removed Thursday. There's a possibility he could play in Friday's preseason game.

Tolliver required stitches on a cut finger that he suffered Friday but is expected to be ready for the start of preseason on Oct. 8.
Tolliver's injury doesn't seem too serious, although he'll likely miss a few practices while his finger heals. The seven preseason games that the Suns play over the next month should be a good indicator if the 29-year-old bench player will be hampered by his laceration in the regular season.
Wed Jul 16 201409:46Suns to sign Anthony Tolliver for 2-yrs, $6M
The Phoenix Suns and Anthony Tolliver have agreed on a 2-year, $6 million contract.
"It's a great opportunity for me," Tolliver said. "With a great nucleus of young players, and the respect I have for Ryan [McDonough], Jeff Hornacek and the entire organization, it's a perfect situation." Tolliver has been a journeyman so far in his NBA career as this will be his seventh team in as many seasons in the NBA. He shot a career-high 41.3 percent from beyond the arc last season and will provide quality depth for the Suns.

Wed Apr 23 201417:38Anthony Tolliver could get more burn Wed.
Coach Steve Clifford said has "a lot of faith" in Anthony Tolliver and could play him more on Wednesday if the Heat go small.
The Bobcats will probably need some help in 3-pointers to hang with Miami. One obvious connection here is how Tolliver could be a part of the solution should the Bobcats not have Al Jefferson for his normal allotment of minutes. He played just five minutes in Game 1's loss, so he's probably not going to have a huge impact tonight.

Wed Apr 2 201422:10Anthony Tolliver gets going late for Bobcats
Anthony Tolliver came off the bench for 16 points, eight rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers in Wednesday's blowout of the Sixers.
With Josh McRoberts (ankle, day-to-day) sidelined, Cody Zeller started at power forward. Tolliver came in firing and didn't stop once garbage time hit early, bringing back memories of when he went on a fantasy tear while in Minnesota. But with McRoberts' injury not considered serious and Zeller the immediate backup, we wouldn't make an add here.

Sun Mar 2 201422:04Anthony Tolliver scores 17 points w/ four 3s
Anthony Tolliver got hot during 25 reserve minutes in Oklahoma City on Sunday, scoring 17 points with four 3-pointers.
He didn't get any rebounds, assists, steals or blocks, and it will take far more than one fluky shooting night for him to cobble together fantasy value. He was joined in double-digits by fellow reserves Cody Zeller (10 points) and Gary Neal (12 points), both of whom are just as dubious in standard fantasy leagues.

Tue Feb 11 201421:52Anthony Tolliver scores season-high 22 points
Anthony Tolliver scored a season-high 22 points against the Mavericks on Tuesday with one board and five 3-pointers in 25 minutes.
It actually wasn't a garbage-time special with just six of his points coming in the fourth quarter. Tolliver has actually been effective from deep over his last four, making a total of 13 treys on his way to 13.3 points per game. This is a little fluky and Tolliver is only worth a look for trey-needy owners in deep leagues.
