Thu Apr 7 202221:41Goran Dragic To Sit Out On Friday
Brooklyn Nets guard Goran Dragic has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The veteran guard will miss at least one more game due to the league's health and safety protocols. That being said, Patty Mills will continue seeing increased playing time without Dragic available. Sadly, Mills has struggled lately and won't be a trustworthy streaming option even with extended playing time.

Tue Apr 5 202218:03Goran Dragic Remains In COVID Health And Safety Protocols
Brooklyn Nets guard Goran Dragic remains out on Tuesday against Houston. This will be the veteran's second consecutive absence as he continues to adhere to COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Fortunately for the Nets, Bruce Brown (illness) will return after missing Saturday's matchup versus Atlanta, so he'll pick up some of the slack. Patty Mills, who's struggled during the second half of the season, should also remain more involved, although he hasn't done much recently to warrant DFS consideration.

Sat Apr 2 202211:15Bruce Brown, Goran Dragic Will Miss Saturday’s Contest
Brooklyn Nets small forward Bruce Brown (illness) and point guard Goran Dragichave been ruled out for Saturday's game against Atlanta. Brown enjoyed a breakout month of March, in which he scored in double figures in 13 of 15 contests. Dragic has shifted to a bench role with Kyrie Irving being cleared in a full-time capacity, yet the veteran has been integral to the Nets second unit. Without either man available, Cam Thomas figures to see an elevated role, while Patty Mills could absorb some additional offensive duties as well. There are just four regular season games remaining for Brooklyn, with the next chance for Brown or Dragic to suit up coming Tuesday vs. the Rockets.

Sat Mar 26 202214:30Seth Curry, Goran Dragic Active For Saturday
Brooklyn Nets guards Seth Curry (ankle) and Goran Dragic (knee) will be active for Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. Both players will make their return to the court after a one-game absence. Dragic won't be on the fantasy radar with Curry, Patty Mills, and Kyrie Irving healthy. However, Curry should remain valuable and slide right back into the starting five on Saturday.

Fri Mar 25 202214:40Goran Dragic, Seth Curry Probable For Saturday
Brooklyn Nets guards Goran Dragic (knee) and Seth Curry (ankle) are probable for Saturday's game against the Miami Heat, according to head coach Steve Nash. This might be the closest we see the Nets to fully healthy this season. Honestly, it's anyone's guess when Ben Simmons (back) is going to suit up. Dragic should have a limited role off the bench with Kyrie Irving healthy. He is unlikely to hold standard league value while Curry, Patty Mills, and Irving are on the court. Curry should continue to have value due to his excellent ability to shoot from beyond the arc.

Wed Mar 23 202210:09Goran Dragic Unlikely To Suit Up For Wednesday’s Game
Brooklyn Nets point guard Goran Dragic (knee) has been listed as doubtful to play in Wednesday's contest against Memphis due to a sore left knee. Dragic played through the ailment to log 32 minutes Monday, but he shot 3-for-11 from the floor during that contest. His likely absence paves the way for Patty Mills to see an elevated workload, although Kyrie Irving figures to swap into Dragic's spot among the starting five. Dragic is primarily a DFS option at this stage, specifically when Irving is unavailable for home games. The next best chance that the veteran has at suiting up comes Saturday when he faces the Heat, one of his former teams.

Mon Mar 21 202219:30Goran Dragic To Start Versus Jazz
Brooklyn Nets guard Goran Dragic (knee) will move into the starting five for Monday's game against the Utah Jazz. He was listed as questionable earlier in the day, but will suit up in this one. Kyrie Irving will sit out due to his vaccination status, so Dragic should see a boost in fantasy value. Also, Patty Mills and Cam Thomas should be more involved without Irving on the court for this game.

Mon Mar 21 202216:20Goran Dragic Draws Questionable Tag For Monday’s Game
Brooklyn Nets point guard Goran Dragic (knee) has been deemed questionable to play in Monday's contest vs. Utah due to a sore left knee. Dragic has stepped into the starting five over the past four games and averaged 9.3 points and six assists across 32.6 minutes per night. With the Nets at home, an absence would pave the way for Patty Mills to see another high usage outing, with Cam Thomas looming as a DFS tourney play as well. Dragic's fantasy value is intrinsically tied to that of Kyrie Irving's for the time being, as fantasy managers will want to check back before tip to get the final word on Brooklyn's backcourt.

Fri Feb 25 202221:54Goran Dragic Expected To Play Saturday
Brooklyn Nets guard Goran Dragicis likely to play during Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks. It appears things have changed and Dragic is ready to make his team debut. It's worth noting that Kyrie Irving is eligible to play in this game. He could also be able to play home games soon, which would hurt Dragic's long-term value. Dragic could still carve out some value as a backup, but he's looking like a deep-league addition right now, at best.

Thu Feb 24 202220:36Goran Dragic Unlikely To Play Saturday
Brooklyn Nets guard Goran Dragic is unlikely to suit up for Saturday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, according to head coach Steve Nash. He has already been ruled out for Thursday's game, and it doesn't appear he'll make his team debut on Saturday. The veteran guard was traded to the San Antonio Spurs at the trade deadline. However, the rebuilding Spurs decided to buy out Dragic, so the 35-year-old decided to join the Nets roster. There should be plenty of minutes available for Dragic, especially when Kyrie Irving isn't available. Fantasy managers should monitor Dragic and see how significant of a role he has in Brooklyn.

Sat Feb 12 202221:09Goran Dragic Discussing Buyout With Spurs
San Antonio Spurs guard Goran Dragic is reportedly working on a contract buyout with the organization. Dragic was traded from the Toronto Raptors to the Spurs at the trade deadline. The Spurs are currently rebuilding, so they have no need for Dragic on their roster. There should be plenty of suitors for Dragic, assuming he heads to free agency. However, it's unlikely he holds standard league value on any roster right now.

Thu Feb 10 202213:06Goran Dragic Traded To Spurs
Toronto Raptors guard Goran Dragic has been traded to the San Antonio Spurs. In exchange, the Raptors will receive forwards Thaddeus Young and Drew Eubanks. Toronto also gains a 2022 second-round pick from this deal. The Spurs received a 2022 first round pick from Toronto and are expected to buyout Dragic. It's uncertain where Dragic will go, assuming he enters free agency. However, it's tough to imagine him having standard league value on most rosters. Young could see quality minutes in Toronto, but it all depends on how head coach Nick Nurse changes his rotation. Right now, Young is someone to be monitored and we'll see how the Raptors work him into the mix. Eubanks didn't have much of a role in San Antonio and that's unlikely to change in Toronto.

Sat Nov 13 202118:41Goran Dragic To Start On Saturday
Toronto Raptors guard Goran Dragic will join the starting five for Saturday's game against the Detroit Pistons. He will jump back into the rotation after sitting out each of the last nine games. Dragic gets back into action due to the fact Fred VanVleet (groin) is sidelined. However, Vanvleet is listed as day-to-day, so Dragic likely won't be involved for too long. Also, fantasy managers should expect Malachi Flynn to be involved in the rotation. Dragic might have some low-end streaming appeal, but isn't a long term option.

Mon Aug 16 202122:30Goran Dragic Still Looking To Play Elsewhere
Toronto Raptors guard Goran Dragic may not be playing for a new team this season. After the veteran recently expressed his displeasure about suiting up for a franchise in the rebuilding stages, there haven't been many offers from clubs throughout the league to acquire his services, especially with his hefty $19.5 million salary. The 35-year-old has been a semi-consistent option for fantasy managers over the years. However, his health has been a big issue, and with the potential for a decreased role this season, it's probably best to look elsewhere for someone to fill the position.

Thu Jun 17 202113:55Analysis: The NBA playoffs have entered survivor mode
The NBA champion this season will be the last team standing. Perhaps literally. Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers missed Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals with a knee sprain and amid concerns that it could be a far more significant injury. Brooklyn’s Kyrie Irving has been sidelined by a badly sprained ankle. Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid is playing through a meniscus tear. Atlanta’s Trae Young is putting heat packs on his shoulder that appear to be roughly the size of a small vehicle. Brooklyn’s James Harden came back despite an ailing hamstring. Those are big names, All-Star names, all nowhere near their best right now because of injuries, and there were plenty of other top players — the Lakers’ duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Denver’s Jamal Murray and Miami’s Victor Oladipo among them — that also either limped to the finish of their seasons or saw them end prematurely because of serious injury. “This is the best time of the year for our league and fans but missing... Sun May 30 202111:43East champs no more, the Heat start to look to what's next
MIAMI (AP) — Not even an hour into the offseason, Jimmy Butler was already looking ahead. There was no run to the NBA Finals this year for the Miami Heat, not even a single playoff victory for the team that rolled through the Eastern Conference in the restart bubble at Walt Disney World last summer. And when it was over, when Miami’s four-game ouster by Milwaukee was complete, Butler quickly summed up the offseason plan. “We can be better,” Butler said. “We’ll be better.” The Heat don’t have a pick in this year’s draft, at least for now, and likely will have somewhere around $25 million in cap space that they can choose to use this summer. Plenty of decisions need to be made about the roster for next season, but the clear cornerstones — Butler and Bam Adebayo, whose $163 million, five-year extension begins this fall — are among the selling points to free agents. Among those who’ll likely be considered, assuming he decides to look for a new team: Toronto’s Kyle Lowry, who insists that he... [More]
Sat Apr 3 202123:45Heat continue home dominance over Cavaliers with 115-101 win
MIAMI (AP) — Duncan Robinson scored 18 points on 6-for-9 shooting on 3-pointers and the Miami Heat continued their home dominance over the Cleveland Cavaliers with a 115-101 victory Saturday night. Bam Adebayo finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, Trevor Ariza scored 15 points and Jimmy Butler added 15 points and 11 assists as the Heat won their 20th straight against the Cavaliers in Miami. The Heat finished with 35 assists, including 13 in the first quarter. Robinson hit his first four 3-pointers as Miami shot 10 for 21 from long range in the first half and led 67-54 at halftime. “Everybody has pure intentions about it — just to play off each other, share the game and enjoy each other's success,” Miami coach Erik Spoelstra said. “You play to your strengths but you do it with the intention to play together, to try to create something better.” Collin Sexton scored 26 points and Taurean Prince finished with a season high 19 points for the Cavaliers, who lost their fifth straight and have... Sun Mar 21 202117:30Holiday's 3-pointers in OT help Pacers to win over Heat
MIAMI (AP) — Justin Holiday scored 15 points and hit consecutive 3-pointers in overtime to lead the Indiana Pacers to a 109-106 victory over the Miami Heat on Sunday. Myles Turner finished with 16 points and five blocks, Doug McDermott scored 15 points and Domantas Sabonis had 17 points and 11 rebounds for the Pacers, who swept their two-game series in Miami. “We showed ourselves that we’re a good team and can win,” Holiday said. The Pacers erased a 103-98 Heat lead on Holiday’s conversions from beyond the arc. Malcolm Brogdon added another 3-pointer, increasing Indiana’s lead to 107-103. “There was still a lot of game left,” Holiday said of Indiana’s early overtime deficit. “This team has no quit.” Miami rallied from a 94-87 deficit in the final 4:26 of regulation and tied it at 98 on Jimmy Butler's first of two free with throws with 15 seconds remaining. Butler missed the second attempt. Caris LeVert missed on his go-ahead jumper with 2 seconds remaining in regulation for the Pacers.... [More]
