Chalmers saw his average amount of action Tuesday despite Wade's absence. However, if Wade misses any time with the knee bruise he suffered early on in the game, Chalmers would likely get the start.

Chalmers was expected to start Friday against the Hawks, but ultimately came off the bench for 30 minutes of action. He contributed 13 points, one rebound, five assists, two steals, and one block.

It's unclear why the Heat chose to keep him on the bench Friday, but he still logged 30 minutes in the process. He's averaging 11.0 points, 1.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 three-pointers made over the last games. Thus, he should be considered a low-end player in 12-man formats at best.

Chalmers is the likely starter at shooting guard Friday against the Hawks.

With Dwyane Wade (knee) looking doubtful to play, coach Erik Spoelstra said the team will likely employ the same lineup it used Wednesday in Boston, which featured Chalmers in the backcourt alongside Goran Dragic. If you want to take a gamble, go ahead, however there are other options on the board who can offer what Chalmers does.
