Meeks appeared in 60 games this season, averaging 11.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while shooting 41.6 percent from the field.

After signing on as a free agent in the offseason, Meeks was poised to challenge second-year guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for the starting shooting guard spot. However, he suffered a stress reaction in his lower-back during the preseason, which delayed his Pistons debut until Dec. 12. The Kentucky product got off to a strong start, averaging 13.9 points on 49.4 percent shooting (50.0% 3Pt) over his first nine games. However, his efficiency would tail off going forward, as he shot just 37.1 percent from the field and 25.5 percent from three in the months of January and February. He was able to close the year on a high note, connecting on 57 percent of his field goal attempts and going 11-of-25 from three-point range over Detroit's final eight contests. Meeks will enter the second year of his three-year, $18.8 million deal in 2015-16, and assuming he enters camp at full strength, he'll again push Caldwell-Pope for the starting two-guard spot.

Meeks scored 24 points (8-12 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT) in 27 minutes in the blowout win over Charlotte on Sunday.

Meeks has received quality playing time in the last three games and has averaged 17.3 points. He has been hot from the perimeter and has knocked down 9-of-16 (56.3 percent) on 3-pointers.

Meeks scored 15 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with five rebounds in 34 minutes off the bench Wednesday.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had an awful night, scoring just two points in 14 minutes, and Meeks stepped into the breach. KCP has been the more reliable player over the last couple of weeks, however, so don't look for the two guards to switch roles or value as the season draws to a close.

Meeks scored 11 points (2-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-8 FT) with two rebounds, five assists and four steals in 33 minutes in the Pistons loss to the Jazz on Saturday.

Meeks has been playing alongside Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the Pistons' lineup recently, and is averaging 1.3 three-pointers and 1.7 steals in his last seven games. He's averaging less than two rebounds and assists on the season, so won't help in those categories, but can be a boost in his areas of strength for some owners.

Meeks had a poor shooting night Sunday in a loss to the Hornets, going 3-for-12 from the field but finishing with 12 points (6-6 FT) and three steals in 24 minutes.

Meeks has been wildly inconsistent as of late. He did have a 20-point performance March 4, but has also gone for eight or fewer points in three of his past six games. He also hardly does anything else on the stat sheet, averaging 1.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game this season.

Meeks had 20 points (8-14 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one assist, and two steals in 28 minutes Wednesday against New Orleans.

Meeks hadn't scored 20 points in a game since Detroit's final game of 2014, where he scored 34. He also hadn't attempted more than 10 field goals since Feb. 6 against Denver. Although Meeks gets a decent amount of run, he's too inconsistent on a night-to-night basis to be counted on in most formats.

Meeks scored 13 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with five assists and a steal in 30 minutes off the bench Wednesday.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope went down early in the first quarter with a sore Achilles tendon, opening up plenty of minutes for Meeks at small forward. Should KCP end up missing significant time due to the injury, Meeks would become a must-add in most formats.

Meeks had 19 points (4-16 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 10-11 FT), three assists and two steals in 34 minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday.

The Pistons were blown out by the Sixers and that's likely why he played a bit more than usual. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is going to get a lot of run at the shooting guard position and averages 32 minutes per game, while Meeks sees 25 minutes per game, but if something were to happen to Caldwell-Pope, Meeks would see an uptick in minutes and probably be inserted into the starting lineup.
