Mon Mar 14 202215:01Reggie Jackson, Marcus Morris Sr. Will Miss Monday’s Game
LA Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson (rest) and small/power forward Marcus Morris Sr. (rest) have been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Cavaliers. The veterans will get the second leg of a back-to-back off, paving the way for Amir Coffey, Terance Mann, Luke Kennard, and Brandon Boston Jr. to all see significant backcourt and wing minutes. With their top four leading scorers this season all sidelined, there will be ample offensive opportunities for all healthy Clippers, even against a Cleveland defensive unit that ranks fourth in the league in defensive efficiency. Fantasy managers can anticipate having Jackson and Morris back in a full-time capacity Wednesday vs. Toronto.

Thu Mar 10 202209:51Reggie Jackson Shines With 31 Points
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson led the team to a 115-109 victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday. He shot 12-for-21 from the field, hitting five three-pointers on the way to a game-high 31 points. He also added seven assists, three rebounds, one steal and one block. Jackson has seen an extremely high usage all year and he's had two of his best games of the season lately. He dropped a season-high 36 points last Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Unfortunately, he continues to sprinkle in some rough nights in between his big nights. Despite his two 30-plus outings this month, he's still only shooting 38.4% from the field in March. Next up for Jackson and the Clippers is a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday.

Fri Mar 4 202208:31Reggie Jackson Drops Season-High 36 Points
LA Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson delivered his best performance of 2021-22 en route to leading his team to victory over the Lakers on Thursday. Jackson compiled a season-high 36 points on 14-for-30 shooting overall, knocking down four triples and nearly logging a triple-double across his 35 minutes. In addition to his nine assists, Jackson snatched eight rebounds, tied for his third-highest total of the year. While the Clippers boast an offense by committee while Kawhi Leonard (knee) and Paul George (elbow) are injured, Jackson has emerged as one of LA's top scoring options on a nightly basis. He has kicked off the second half averaging 24 points, 6.8 assists, and 6.5 boards across his first four outings.

Fri Dec 31 202118:14Reggie Jackson Set To Return In A Big Role
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson will be back in the lineup on Friday against Toronto and we'll see a lot of him. Clippers assistant coach Brian Shaw has said that Jackson will play as much as possible. Jackson has missed four games because of health and safety protocols. His absence has allowed Eric Bledsoe to step up and enter the starting five. Bledsoe's fantasy stock takes a hit now, but he should still feature heavily, as the Clippers are without a number of key pieces. Paul George (elbow) is among the absentees and Jackson has averaged 17.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists without him on the court this season.

Thu Dec 30 202119:50Reggie Jackson Uncertain For Friday's Game
Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Toronto Raptors. He cleared the league's COVID-19 health and safety protocols ahead of Wednesday's game. However, Jackson sat out due to lack of conditioning, so hopefully he can suit up on Friday. He would immediately slide into the starting five, assuming he's able to play. His return would slightly decrease the value of Eric Bledsoe and Terance Mann. However, both remain strong streaming options for the short-handed Clippers right now. Fantasy managers should check back on Friday for an update on Jackson's status.

Wed Dec 29 202118:06Reggie Jackson Clears COVID-19 Protocols, Still Out Wednesday
LA Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson has tested out of the league's health and safety protocols as of Wednesday, but he will remain sidelined for the contest against the Celtics. Jackson's absence has now stretched to four contests, paving the way for Eric Bledsoe to retain his sizable offensive workload. With Paul George (elbow) also unavailable, Terance Mann, Luke Kennard, and Marcus Morris Sr. have all seen both their short-term season-long and DFS values increase. Prior to entering protocols, Jackson had enjoyed a solid December, averaging 16.4 points and 5.2 assists across 10 contests, despite shooting just 37 percent overall. His return is imminent, and could come as early as Friday's game vs. Toronto.

Wed Dec 22 202117:37Reggie Jackson Unavailable Because Of COVID-19 Protocols
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson joined the health and safety protocols on Wednesday, which makes him unavailable for a meeting with the Kings. His absence should give Eric Bledsoe a start. His fantasy stock receives a boost, although the veteran isn't having a great campaign and thus he's a fairly unreliable option. Justise Winslow could be looking at extended minutes, but he hasn't really done anything this season and disappointed in a recent start.

Sat Dec 11 202119:49Reggie Jackson Pushes Clippers Past Magic
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson led all scorers with 25 points and hit the game-winning shot in Saturday's 106-104 victory over Orlando. He nailed a step-back jumper with 2.2 ticks left, finishing with 11-for-21 shooting from the field and with a 3-for-8 effort from downtown. Jackson delivered three assists with three turnovers and recorded two rebounds, one steal and one block in 32 minutes on the floor. The former Piston is having somewhat of a renaissance this season, averaging over 17 points per game with 3.5 rebounds and four assists. He's currently the team's first option in attack due to a number of injuries, and Jackson could stay in the role for a while, with Paul George's status uncertain for next week because of an elbow strain.

Fri Nov 26 202120:35Reggie Jackson Overcomes A Cold Start, Has 21 Points
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson missed his first five shots against the Pistons on Friday but bounced back well and ended up as the team's leading scorer in a 107-96 win. He produced 21 points and finished 8-for-19 from the field with a 3-for-10 record from downtown. Jackson collected four rebounds and handed out four assists with zero turnovers in 32 minutes. The 31-year-old has found some very nice form lately, averaging 25 points per game across his last three outings. His hot hands face an extremely difficult challenge next against the Warriors, but next week starts off with a pair of superb matchups for Jackson and the Clippers, with home games against New Orleans and Sacramento on the schedule.

Wed Nov 24 202109:09Reggie Jackson Shines Against Dallas Again
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson, who had a great game on Sunday against Dallas, enjoyed Tuesday's rematch as well, scoring a game-high 31 points on 12-for-23 shooting in a 112-104 overtime loss. He was 3-for-8 with the three-ball and also somehow ended up as the leading rebounder in the game with 10 boards. Jackson delivered two assists with four turnovers and registered three steals in 42 minutes. The recent performances have been very strong from Jackson, and he'll now head into a revenge game against Detroit. The Pistons are allowing point guards to shoot a league-high 49.3 percent this season.

Sun Nov 21 202119:36Reggie Jackson Racks Up 23 Points With Four Triples
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson produced a good 23-point outing in Sunday's win over Dallas, hitting 4-for-8 from downtown and 8-for-14 overall from the field. He finished things off with an amazing trick shot and posted two rebounds and four assists with two turnovers in 35 minutes. Jackson couldn't get anything to drop on Friday against New Orleans, so he really needed this performance to get back on track. He will look to repeat the performance in Tuesday's rematch against Dallas, although it's actually an uncomfortable matchup for him, with the Mavericks having allowed the fifth-fewest points in the league to points guards this season. Jackson is much better placed to put together a big line in a revenge game against Detroit on Friday.

Wed Nov 17 202105:04Reggie Jackson Attempts 17 Three-Pointers In Win
In Wednesday's 106-92 win over San Antonio, Clippers guard Reggie Jackson had the green light to fire away from deep no matter the circumstances. In 38 minutes, Jackson posted 21 points, six rebounds, five three-pointers, four assists, and two blocks. Unfortunately, it was an extremely inefficient performance from the veteran guard as he went 8-for-22 from the field and 5-for-17 from deep. The five triples are friendly for fantasy, but it's difficult to understand what was going on in the offense when Reggie Jackson gets 17 three-point attempts. Still, it's the result that counts for fantasy, and the 31-year old now has at least 20 points in six of his nine November contests. This season it's made him a top-100 option, but his lack of contributions in the other categories will prevent him from ever reaching top-50 status.

Fri Nov 12 202112:03Reggie Jackson Scores 22 Points On 17 Shots
On Thursday, Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson was a perfect Robin to Paul George's Batman against the Miami Heat. In a 112-109 victory, Jackson played 31 minutes and posted 22 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two threes. He was tied for the team lead with six trips to the free-throw line and it's helping him maintain his scoring average. That average is up to 22.6 points per game in his last five. Without Kawhi Leonard (knee) this season, Jackson should be rostered in all fantasy leagues for his scoring potential.

Wed Nov 10 202110:02Reggie Jackson Scores 23 Points With Six Dimes
Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson showcased some better efficiency in Tuesday's win over Portland. Jackson shot 38.9 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from deep his last time out but improved upon those marks, connecting on 10 of 20 shot attempts while draining 3 of 5 threes. The Boston College product has averaged 21.2 points, 5.2 assists, 3.4 triples, and 3.2 rebounds per game over his last five contests. Jackson has been a solid guard for fantasy purposes, which should continue thanks to his high-volume role in the offense.

Sat Nov 6 202111:39Reggie Jackson Nets 20 Points In Friday's Win
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson helped the team defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves 104-84 on Friday. He dropped 20 points in the game, second on the team behind Paul George, who scored 21. Jackson shot 8-for-16 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line in the game. He hit two three-pointers and also racked up four rebounds and four assists. The 31-year-old veteran has seen his usage go up a good amount this year. He's averaging 16.8 field goal attempts per game, up from 8.7 last year, and it's resulted in some solid outputs (16.8 points per game), but also some shooting woes (37.3% field goal percentage).

Thu Nov 4 202109:00Reggie Jackson Scores Season-High 29 Points With Seven Treys
Los Angeles Clippers point guard Reggie Jackson went berserk with a 7-for-9 effort from downtown on Wednesday and ended up picking up a season-high 29 points in a 126-115 win over the Timberwolves. He shot 11-for-18 overall from the field and added five rebounds to his line with eight assists, one steal and three turnovers in 36 minutes. With Paul George having a very high usage rate, you can't expect Jackson to drop 20-plus points every game, but he has been putting in solid work throughout the season, despite being a very streaky shooter. The 31-year-old has averaged 16 points for the year but has shot below 36 percent from the field. In theory, Jackson's scoring numbers should get a nice boost with better efficiency. He'll roll out against the Timberwolves again on Friday. This is actually an awful matchup for points guards, as Minnesota has limited them to 37 percent shooting across the season with only 6.3 assists per 48 minutes.

Fri Aug 6 202120:56Reggie Jackson Re-Signs With Clippers
Guard Reggie Jackson will remain with the Clippers after agreeing to a two-year, $22 million contract. The 31-year-old was a big part in helping L.A. navigate its way through the postseason after Kawhi Leonard (knee) tore his ACL, averaging 17.8 points while shooting nearly 41 percent from deep throughout the playoffs. With Leonard potentially missing the entire 2021-22 campaign, Jackson is now the unofficial No. 2 option on the offensive end for Los Angeles, so managers should view him as an everyday fantasy option during the year.

Sun Aug 1 202100:19Clippers Want Reggie Jackson To Return
Free Agent guard Reggie Jackson will draw plenty of interest from multiple clubs heading into the season. However, Clippers president of basketball operations, Lawrence Frank, recently indicated that the team would like to bring him back. Jackson had bouts of efficiency during the regular season, but after Kawhi Leonard (knee) was injured, he picked things up even more on the statistical end, averaging 17.8 points while shooting nearly 41 percent from deep during the postseason. The veteran will likely command a more prominent role heading into the 2021-22 campaign, so managers should consider him an everyday fantasy option when the new year begins in October.

Thu Jul 1 202118:45Clippers await Leonard's decision on contract option
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Clippers’ season began in an empty arena with cardboard cutouts, COVID-19 tests, and protocols for everything. It ended with the team reaching the Western Conference finals for the first time in franchise history, even without injured superstar Kawhi Leonard. A masked Leonard watched from the bench as the Clippers lost to the Phoenix Suns in six games on Wednesday night. “Man, we just had a group of guys that loved playing with each other. Everyone was on the same page,” center Ivica Zubac said Thursday. The Clippers overcame 0-2 deficits in the first two rounds to beat Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks and Donovan Mitchell and the Utah Jazz. Leonard sprained his right knee in Game 4 against the Jazz and didn't play again. Zubac also injured his knee and was forced to sit out the final two games against the Suns. The Clippers trailed that series 0-2 and 1-3 before closing to 3-2 and eventually running out of gas. Through the injuries, Paul George kept... [More]
Sun Jun 27 202102:08Fatigued Clippers find themselves staring at 3-1 deficit
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul George and the Los Angeles Clippers have pulled off their share of comebacks during this year's postseason. They might have hit the wall during their marathon run. Los Angeles — playing its 17th game in 36 days — lost 84-80 to the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night in Game 4 of the Western Conference finals. The Clippers have been down 2-0 in each of their series this postseason, but are staring at a 3-1 deficit for the first time with Game 5 set for Monday night in Phoenix. “We’ve been down before. It’s tough. We’ve had our backs against the wall and we’ve been in elimination games,” said Reggie Jackson, who scored 20 points. The Clippers rallied from a 16-point deficit in the third quarter to get within one, but couldn't complete the comeback. They went 0 for 12 from the floor with a chance to tie or take the lead, which is the worst shooting stretch over the past 25 postseasons, according to ESPN Stats & Information. LA got within 71-70 with 10:11 remaining on... [More]
