Bamba's next chance to return to action comes Wednesday against the Clippers.

The Houston Rockets are reportedly looking to add some center depth in free agency. The team's top two targets right now appear to be Mo Bamba and Isaiah Hartenstein. Kelly Iko of The Athletic reported that Rockets general manager Rafael Stone could be prepared to make a substantial offer to a veteran if he feels the player is still young enough to grow with the team's young core. Iko also added that Chicago and Orlando will be in the mix for Bamba while several teams are expected to pursue Hartenstein. The Rockets traded center Christian Wood to the Dallas Mavericks a few weeks back. As a result of the trade, the team currently has few other center options behind Alperen Sengun.
