Wed Feb 26 201423:41Jordan Crawford scores 16 points vs. Bulls
Jordan Crawford scored a team-high 16 points against the Bulls during a blowout 103-83 loss on Wednesday with two boards, two assists and one 3-pointer.
He's been in double-digit scoring in four of his last five games. In that span, Crawford averaged 11.8 points, 1.2 boards, 1.4 assists, 0.2 steals and 1.6 triples. He's not really much of a fantasy option for only putting up points and the averages over his last five are likely better than he'll finish the rest of the way.

Mon Feb 24 201422:17Jordan Crawford drops 15 points off bench
Jordan Crawford scored 15 points off the bench against the Pistons during Monday's 104-96 victory with two boards, one assist and four 3-pointers.
He got hot in the middle of this game, which he's done countless times in his career. Crawford hasn't cracked 20 minutes in any of his last five games, averaging 10.4 points, 1.4 assists, 0.2 steals and 1.4 triples. He can be left on the wire in most leagues.

Thu Feb 20 201414:23Warriors put Jordan Crawford on the block
According to Yahoo, the Warriors have placed Jordan Crawford on the trading block.
With Steve Blake now filling the combo guard spot off the bench, Crawford is expendable. It's a familiar refrain for the streaky, sometimes selfish scorer. Crawford has already been traded four times in his four-year career.

Wed Feb 12 201409:36Report: Warriors eye trade to support bench
The Warriors hope to use their trade exceptions to acquire players who can bolster their bench, according to USA Today.
This comes as no surprise given that the Warriors already traded for Jordan Crawford to help the bench yet they still rank 29th in bench scoring. Owner Joe Lacob expressed dissatisfaction with his team's current 31-21 record and we're likely to see a move or two from Golden State before the Feb. 20 deadline.

Mon Jan 27 201400:27Jordan Crawford scores five pts in 15 minutes
Jordan Crawford scored five points in 15 minutes off the Warriors' bench on Sunday.
Golden State ranks last in the NBA in bench scoring this season at 23.0 points per game (their opponent tonight, the Blazers, are second-to-last). Crawford's arrival seems designed to fix that problem, but thus far he's been quiet in 12-15 minutes per game. His fantasy value didn't board the plane when he was traded from Boston to Golden State.

Sat Jan 18 201401:33Jordan Crawford scores eight in debut
Jordan Crawford scored eight points in his debut with the Warriors on Friday to go with one board, two assists and two 3-pointers.
He played just 15 minutes and the talent around him in the backcourt went up quite a bit compared to his Boston days. Crawford can be dropped in most leagues.

Wed Jan 15 201411:59Celts deal J. Crawford, M. Brooks to Warriors
The Celtics have traded Jordan Crawford and MarShon Brooks to the Warriors, according to Yahoo!'s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Toney Douglas will join the Celtics as part of the deal, which also involves a third team sending a draft pick to Boston. The Warriors have been openly trying to improve their backcourt depth and this accomplishes that goal with Crawford providing some relief for Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, both of whom are averaging close to 38 minutes per game. Crawford's value takes a clear hit as a reserve in Golden State, while his departure clears up minutes in Boston's backcourt as the Celts await Rajon Rondo's return.

Wed Jan 15 201409:16Report: Celtics 'close' to trading Crawford?
Sports columnist Peter Vecsey wrote on Wednesday that the Celtics are "close" to trading Jordan Crawford.
The timing of the report is plausible, given Rajon Rondo's possible return this week, and Vecsey mentions the Nets, Clippers, Rockets Suns and Warriors as teams which are "interested" in trading for Crawford. To be clear, we're viewing this as a trade rumor until more sources weigh in.

Thu Jan 9 201401:52Jordan Crawford scores 24 in loss
Jordan Crawford hit 7-of-17 shots and zero 3-pointers for 24 points, two rebounds, eight assists and two steals in Wednesday's loss.
He's been one of this season's most pleasant surprises for fantasy point guards and the only thing that will slow him down is the return of Rajon Rondo from knee surgery. We still don't know when Rondo will play, so keep running Crawford until further notice. He also hit 10-of-11 free throws to help his overall line tonight.

Sun Jan 5 201422:00Celts lose but Jordan Crawford gets on track
Jordan Crawford scored 17 points and handed out seven assists in Sunday's road loss, making 6-of-14 shots including three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.
Crawford has now traded off single-digit and double-digit scoring in six straight games, as his streaky shooting has once again reared its ugly head. The probable arrival of combo guard Jerryd Bayless this week isn't too threatening, as he'll likely assume Courtney Lee's 17-minute role off the bench. Rajon Rondo (ACL) is still without a return date, which is good for Crawford's owners since eventually there may not be enough playing time to go around in a backcourt with Rondo, J-Craw, Avery Bradley and Jerryd Bayless.

Sat Dec 28 201317:26Jordan Crawford scores 19 in win
Jordan Crawford was outstanding in Saturday's win over the Cavs with 19 points, five boards, five assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.
He's morphed into a prototypical-style point guard this season and might be in the mix for Most Improved Player. Crawford has been able to score on his own while also shooting a somewhat impressive 46 percent in pick-and-roll plays. Rajon Rondo (knee) will return at some point, but Crawford's owners shouldn't be looking to sell high unless they're focusing more on April.

Wed Dec 18 201323:48Jordan Crawford hits 5-of-15 shots in loss
Jordan Crawford hit just 4-of-15 shots in Wednesday's loss to the Pistons, but still managed to finish with 17 points, four rebounds, six assists and a steal.
He hit just 1-of-7 3-pointers, but salvaged his scoring line by hitting 8-of-8 free throws. Rajon Rondo, if not traded, is nearing a return for the Celtics, and it should be interesting to see what Crawford's role will be when it happens. But for now, he should still be in starting fantasy lineups until further notice.

Sat Dec 14 201300:19Jordan Crawford disappears in win
Jordan Crawford missed all eight of his shots, five of which were 3-pointers, for two points and six assists in 32 minutes on Friday.
Crawford came in hot, scoring between 11 and 25 points in each of his previous six games, but just couldn't get it going on Friday. We expect him to bounce back on Monday against the Timberwolves.

Sun Dec 8 201315:00Jordan Crawford and Celtics destroy Knicks
Jordan Crawford didn't turn the ball over against the Knicks on Sunday and was effective all afternoon on offense with 23 points, three boards, seven assists and six 3-pointers on 8-of-14 shooting.
He was cooking all game and the Knicks didn't even want to defend him on the perimeter. This was just the seventh time the Celtics were able to build a 40-point lead since 2001 and the fourth time they were able to win the game by that score. Crawford has been one of the hottest point guards in the NBA, averaging 19.8 points, 4.6 boards, 7.0 assists and 2.8 triples on 50.0 percent shooting over his last five. Rajon Rondo will hurt his value, but his owners should enjoy the ride for the next month or more.

Sat Dec 7 201300:09Jordan Crawford's wrist is a non-issue
Jordan Crawford' wrist injury didn't seem to bother him in Friday's win over the Nuggets with 22 points, four boards, eight assists and two 3-pointers.
He has transformed into a point guard and his shot selection has become a lot better. In his last five, Crawford averaged 7.0 dimes, 16.2 points and 1.8 triples. He is basically a must-start player right now.

Fri Dec 6 201317:54Jordan Crawford's wrist is sore
Jordan Crawford (wrist) is "good" for Friday's game against the Nuggets, according to coach Brad Stevens.
He added his point guard is a little sore, but it didn't affect him at practice. Crawford has been surprisingly good at point guard and he's averaged 14.4 points, 5.9 assists and 1.0 steals in his last 10 games. He should have some success against the Nuggets tonight.

Thu Dec 5 201315:31Jordan Crawford ready to go w/ ailing wrist
Jordan Crawford's left wrist was heavily taped during Thursday's practice, but when asked about the injury he replied, "It'll be alright."
"I don't know if he fell on it or if he hit it on the floor," said coach Brad Stevens. "He had a little bruise, but he practiced full today. He came in and said, `I'm ready to go. Let's go.' It doesn't look like anything that's going to hold him back." This is good news for anyone banking on Crawford, who is averaging a solid 16.0 points, 2.2 threes, 4.2 rebounds and 6.4 assists in his past five games. We're listing him as 'expected to play' for Friday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Tue Dec 3 201322:39Jordan Crawford torches Bucks for 25
Jordan Crawford had 25 points, two rebounds, five assists, a steal and four 3-pointers in Tuesday's win over the Bucks.
Crawford is feeling it, averaging 16 points, 4.2 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 2.2 3-pointers over his last five games, which includes a triple-double from Friday. Hopefully he doesn't take too big a hit once Rajon Rondo is back, but it's hard to imagine him staying quite this hot when it happens.

Sun Dec 1 201300:08Jordan Crawford scores 18, stays hot
Jordan Crawford wasn't a letdown following his Friday triple-double with a solid game on Saturday, scoring 18 points, three rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.
He only turned the ball over once, but did shoot just 6-of-15 from the field. Crawford's shot hasn't been falling over his last five with a field goal percentage of just 35.1, but he has averages of 13.4 points, 4.4 boards, 7.4 assists and 1.4 triples to more than offset his Achilles heel as a fantasy asset. He's worth owning in all leagues and has the point guard job locked up until Rajon Rondo (knee) comes back.

Sat Nov 30 201303:05Jordan Crawford triple-doubles vs. Cavs
Jordan Crawford triple-doubled in the Celtics' 103-86 win over the Cavs on Friday, scoring 11 points on 4-of-14 shooting (1-of-6 from deep) with 11 rebounds, 10 assists and one steal.
Crawford asked back into an already decided game so he could get his trip-dub, which is so Crawford, but Brad Stevens didn't seem to mind and owners simply have to hope he continues to put one foot in front of the other the way he has most of the year.
