Sloan scored nine points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt) with seven rebounds, four assists and one steal in 36 minutes in a start with C.J. Watson (illness) ailing.
Sloan has dropped out of fantasy relevance with the return to the lineup of Watson and will continue to fall further into obscurity when George Hill (quad) returns, but if owners were able to stream him in when Watson was announced as out, his line was solid, but not spectacular.
Sun Dec 14 201407:36Sloan logged 18 minutes against Blazers on Saturday
Sloan logged 18 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday. He was able to score six points (2-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and added one assist, one steal and he turned the ball over two times.
This is two games in a row where Sloan has seen around 20 minutes of action. We will see what kind of fantasy relevance Sloan can have when only given around 20 minutes of playing time. Much of Sloan's early season success revolved around the fact that he was getting at least 30 minutes a night.
Sat Dec 6 201406:42Sloan received another DNP-CD Friday as Pacers lost to Kings
Sloan received another DNP-CD Friday as the Pacers lost to the Kings.
Sloan has sat the last two games with a coach's decision DNP. His value continues to diminish. His play has struggled lately and now he has sat out the last two games. It's not looking good for Sloan.
Fri Dec 5 201401:02Sloan received DNP Thursday as Pacers lost to Trail Blazers
Sloan received a DNP Thursday as the Pacers lost to the Trail Blazers.
Rodney Stuckey started at point guard, and Chris Copeland saw time at shooting guard while Sloan fell out of the rotation. However, C.J. Watson, C.J. Miles and Copeland combined to shoot just 6-for-29 in the contest. In 18 starts this season, Sloan was averaging 11.3 points, five assists and 4.2 rebounds but was shooting just 37.9 percent from the floor. The poor performances elsewhere on the Pacers could easily move Sloan back into the rotation again.

Sloan will likely be out of the rotation Thursday against the Trail Blazers, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Sloan was expected to start, but will now likely receive little to no minutes in the contest. Instead, Rodney Stuckey will draw the start with C.J. Watson as the backup point guard.

Sloan is expected to draw the start at point guard Thursday against the Blazers, Candace Buckner of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Sloan hasn't scored more than six points in each of his last four contests, and with Rodney Stuckey seeing recent practice time at point guard, there had been rumblings of a prospective switch being made. Coach Frank Vogel expects to stick with his additional starting five, however, so Sloan's role appears to be secure for now. With George Hill (quad) likely out another week or so, there should be plenty of minutes for Sloan and Stuckey to share for the foreseeable future.

Sloan scored 29 points (10-14 FG, 3-5 3P, 6-9 FT) with five assists, two rebounds and a steal in 38 minutes during Monday's win over the Mavericks.
He's been quiet recently, averaging just 9.0 points a game over his previous six contests, so don't expect Sloan to repeat this kind of performance very often.
Wed Nov 5 201423:20Sloan scored 31 points (10-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 7-10 FT), with seven...
Sloan scored 31 points (10-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 7-10 FT), with seven assists, and six rebounds in 43 minutes during Wednesday's overtime loss to the Wizards.
Sloan realistically had no one backing him up in this game, and it showed in his minutes. Fortunately for the Pacers, they got more than they could have asked from the young point guard. He not only lead the team in minutes, but also in points and assists. Sloan's fantasy value continues to grow, but when C.J. Watson or Rodney Stuckey return we'll have to watch how head coach Frank Vogel handles his minutes.

Sloan scored 12 points (5-11 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with five rebounds, seven assists and one steal in 35 minutes during the Pacers' 97-89 loss versus the Grizzlies on Friday.
Sloan delivered another quality showing on Friday after posting a double-double versus the 76ers in the season opener. So long as George Hill (knee) is out and Sloan continues to play at this level he should start and play sufficient minutes. As far as short-term options go, there aren't many better options than Sloan. However, once Hill does return it's unclear how prominent of a role Sloan will be able to maintain.

Sloan scored 16 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3P, 3-4 FT) with 10 rebounds and six assists in 34 minutes during Wednesday's 103-91 win over the 76ers.
It was an impressive first start of the season for Sloan, who should see plenty of action while the guards ahead of him on the depth chart recover from various injuries. He won't get to face the woeful Sixers every night, but he should still make a good pickup off your league's waiver wire.
Mon Oct 27 201420:07Sloan will start Wednesday's opener against Sixers
Sloan will start Wednesday's opener against the Sixers.
With George HIll (knee) and C.J. Watson (foot) both out for multiple weeks, it appears Sloan will have a chance to prove he's capable of handling the reins for a depleted Pacers squad. The Texas A&M product started two preseason games and led the Pacers in exhibition scoring at 13.3 points per game. David West (ankle) and Paul George (leg) are also out of action, so Sloan could put up solid numbers as the short-term starter, as he figures to see plenty of minutes at scoring opportunities.
Tue Aug 12 201412:49Sloan will have 2014-15 option picked up
Sloan will have his 2014-15 option picked up, ESPN reports.
Sloan had a successful Orlando Summer League which likely played a big part in his contract being picked up by the Pacers. Despite the updated contract status, Sloan will likely have a hard time seeing any action this season while playing behind George Hill, C.J. Watson, and Rodney Stuckey.
Sat Jul 5 201411:35Donald Sloan scores 21 vs. Nets on Sat.
Donald Sloan scored a team-high 21 points in Saturday's 101-81 Orlando Pro Summer League loss to the Nets to go with four boards, three assists and one steal.
He made 9-of-11 at the line and was Indiana's best player today. Sloan wasn't very good last season even when George Hill needed to miss time, so he's not likely to be a major part in the rotation.

Wed Apr 9 201414:30Donald Sloan set to start on Wednesday
Donald Sloan will start at point guard vs. the Bucks on Wednesday with the regular starters getting rest.
The Pacers won't have C.J. Watson all the way back, so Sloan could see all the minutes he can handle tonight. His numbers obviously aren't very impressive at 7.3 minutes per game, but his per-36-minute averages are decent at 9.7 points, 3.9 boards, 4.3 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.0 triples. It's a decent matchup for him, so Sloan isn't the worst option at point guard for owners who are feeling saucy.

Mon Mar 17 201422:20Sloan returns from personal absence
Donald Sloan returned from a personal absence on Monday, logging 12 minutes on his way to five points, two rebounds and a steal.
Sloan is filling in for C.J. Watson and the Pacers have plenty of guys to play backup point guard in a pinch. He has no fantasy value.

Mon Mar 17 201413:51Donald Sloan (personal) to return on Monday
Pacers guard Donald Sloan is expected to return from a personal absence on Monday.
He should absorb 10+ minutes in a backup role with C.J. Watson (elbow, hamstring) still questionable to play, but fantasy owners can ignore him as long as George Hill is healthy.

Fri Mar 14 201419:21Donald Sloan not with the team for weekend
Donald Sloan is not with the team for this weekend's games for personal reasons.
He will not play on Friday and Saturday. The Pacers have C.J. Watson back from an elbow injury, so there's no need for Sloan on the second unit.

Wed Jul 3 201311:57Pacers to ink Donald Sloan to multi-year deal
The Pacers and free agent PG Donald Sloan have agreed on a multi-year contract.
Sloan signed with a team in China in February, and his last significant NBA stint came with the Cavaliers last year when he averaged 4.1 points and 1.9 assists in 13 minutes per game. With George Hill and C.J. Watson already filling the Pacers' PG position, we don't expect to see very much of Sloan this season.
