Sat Feb 7 201514:04Allen (knee) questionable for Sunday's game in Charlotte
Allen (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game in Charlotte.
He has missed the last three games with a sore right knee, but even if he is cleared to play, it is unlikely that he will see enough minutes to be very useful in daily leagues.
Thu Feb 5 201514:58Allen (knee) will not play Friday against Cavaliers
Allen (knee) will not play Friday against the Cavaliers.
Allen will miss a third straight game as he continues to battle soreness in his right knee. Consider the reserve forward questionable to play Sunday in Charlotte.
Sat Jan 31 201512:17Allen (knee) will miss at least next two games
Allen (knee) will miss at least the next two games, the Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner reports.
This rules Allen out for Saturday and Wednesday, with Friday, Feb. 6 against Cleveland being the first potential return date. He was barely in the rotation prior to the injury, so this will have little effect on the minutes in the Pacers' frontcourt.
Sat Jan 31 201511:16Allen (knee) ruled out for Saturday's game against Kings
Allen (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Kings.
He had only been playing sparingly prior to sustaining the minor knee injury, so there should not be a far-reaching fantasy fallout due to his absence. Consider him day-to-day.

Allen (knee) is considered questionable for Saturday's game against the Kings.
Allen left Thursday's game against Knicks with a sore right knee after only playing for nine minutes. If he's unable to play Saturday, Damjan Rudez could see increased time on the court.

Allen only spent nine minutes on the court against the Knicks on Thursday after leaving the game with a sore right knee.
Allen's status for Saturday's game against the Kings is in serious question since the Pacers won't play again until Wednesday, meaning that he would get five days of rest if he sits Saturday. Nevertheless, his status for Saturday's game should be updated after the morning shootaround.

Allen left Thursday's game against the Knicks with a sore right knee and is questionable to return, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Allen played 9:24 before leaving the game, finishing with eight points on 4-5 shooting and adding five rebounds and one assist. It's unclear exactly what the ailment is, but it likely puts his status in question for Saturday's game against the Kings.

Allen finished Wednesday's game with 12 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes.
With Roy Hibbert's (ankle) injury, Allen could see some more minutes at the center position. Allen started the second half with Hibbert unable to return to the game. Luis Scola could also see some extra time if the big guy has to sit out for awhile. Allen is averaging 6.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists and .9 blocks in 22 minutes per game this season.

Allen scored 14 points (7-11 FG) with 13 rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes off the bench Wednesday.
Both David West and Roy Hibbert were ineffective and got nailed to the bench in the fourth quarter, which afforded Allen huge minutes. It's his third double-double of the season, but don't expect a repeat performance any time soon.

Allen scored 12 points (6-12 FG) to go along with 15 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 27 minutes Monday against the Jazz.
Monday marked Allen's first double-double of the season and tied his season-high for points. The Pacers have really needed him with all of their injuries this season, but don't expect him to be a major fantasy contributor on a nightly basis.

Allen had eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, a steal and a block over 26 minutes in Friday's loss to the Grizzlies.
Allen was largely an afterthought following his midseason acquisition by the Pacers in 2013-14, but with starting power forward David West (ankle) out for the beginning of the regular season, he's now being given the minutes necessary to make an impact. He was the only Pacer to grab double-digit rebounds in the contest, and now has 15 boards through the first two games of the season. Allen's minutes stand to be reduced when West returns to action, but his ability to take some of the rebounding pressure off center Roy Hibbert hasn't gone unnoticed, potentially earning him more meaningful minutes when the Pacers return to full strength.
Sat Jul 5 201412:04Lavoy Allen re-signs with the Pacers
Lavoy Allen re-signed with the Pacers late Friday night.
The terms of the deal are not disclosed yet, but it's likely a short-term offer. Allen did not play very often since his trade from the 76ers last season, averaging just 8.0 minutes per game in his 14 games with the Pacers. He'll just serve as emergency depth.

Tue Jul 1 201416:43Lavoy Allen enters unrestricted free agency
Lavoy Allen is an unrestricted free agent following the Pacers' decision not to give him a $3.8 million qualifying offer.
Allen had a quiet 2013-14 season during which he struggled with various injuries and questions about his conditioning. He plans to play for the Pacers' Summer League team and may still sign with Indy, but he won't earn $3.8 million per year.

Sat Jun 28 201422:20Lavoy Allen likely for Pacers' Summer League
Lavoy Allen plans to attend Pacers rookie/free agent camp next week and it sounds likely that he'll play on their Summer League team.
Allen was traded to the Pacers last February but saw extremely limited minutes. Even if he has a good camp and summer, it's hard to see him making much noise if he ends up on the Pacers roster once the regular season rolls around.

Mon Feb 24 201414:15Lavoy Allen not part of Pacers' rotation
Lavoy Allen is not expected to play for the Pacers unless injuries strike the frontcourt.
"I have to be prepared and come in here and get some extra conditioning and be ready when my name is called," said Allen. He gives Indiana some frontcourt insurance as they march toward the playoffs, but fantasy owners should ignore him while Roy Hibbert is healthy.

Thu Feb 20 201415:46Lavoy Allen sent to Indiana at deadline
Lavoy Allen was traded to the Pacers on Thursday.
He'll go from what would have been a key rotational role with Philly to a bench-warming big on the contending Pacers. If you picked up Allen based on the Spencer Hawes deal, you can go ahead and let him go at your earliest convenience. Additionally, the Sixers still have 16 players on their roster and would have to cut one more player.

Thu Feb 20 201411:42Lavoy Allen could get more run
Lavoy Allen will get more playing time with the Sixers.
He has primarily been a backup power forward this season, but the Sixers have asked him to play some center, as well. Allen has played 22.2 minutes per game over his last five, averaging 6.4 points, 6.4 boards, 0.4 blocks and 1.0 steals on just 36.8 shooting from the field. He's a a somewhat safe add in deeper leagues, but the low ceiling shouldn't be very attractive in standard leagues.

Wed Feb 12 201422:57Lavoy Allen (knee) dealing with soreness
Lavoy Allen is dealing with left knee soreness on Wednesday and is questionable to return.
He had some knee issues last season and there is no word on how bad his soreness is. The Sixers will likely give more minutes to Arnett Moultrie, but he's only worth a look in deep leagues.

Fri Feb 7 201422:52Allen nearly double-doubles against Lakers
Lavoy Allen nearly double-doubled off the bench on Friday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in 28 minutes.
This is one of the better lines you'll see out of Allen and it's enough to give him some 14-team value in 9-cat formats over the past week on the strength of just 0.8 giveaways per game. That's an improvement over his usual production, so naturally he's only worth a look in the deepest of leagues.
