Thompson averaged 8.8 points (41% FG, 40% 3Pt, 71% FT), 1.6 three-pointers, 1.2 assists, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in 25 minutes per game for 71 regular season games in 2014-15.

While failing to establish himself as a starter, Thompson showed flashes of his potential, and is trending the right direction for 2015-16. The 6-8 shooting guard should move into the starting lineup if Jason Richardson departs in free agency. Assuming Thompson gets the starter role, then his fantasy value would get a nice boost for next season. The 76ers Haven't locked in his non-guaranteed contract yet, but it's hard to imagine they wouldn't keep a young talent like Thompson on their barren roster.

Thompson started Monday against Milwaukee and provided 19 points (7-18 FG, 3-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in 36 minutes in the loss.

Thompson started for Jason Richardson (knee). He has scored at least 14 points in five of his last six games with 16 3-pointers over that stretch. Thompson won't provide much beyond 3-pointers and points.

Thompson will get the start Monday against the Bucks, Keith Pompey of the Philly Inquirer reports.

Thompson played 33 minutes off the bench Saturday, putting up 15 points and two rebounds while shooting 4-of-13 from the field. With Jason Richardson (knee) being held out Monday, Thompson will slot into the starting lineup as the Sixers look to end an eight-game skid.

After scoring just 18 points combined in his previous three games, Thompson was able to find his rhythm again on Wednesday. His fantasy value is limited in a bench role, however, and double digit scoring nights could be rarities for him as the season draws to a close.

Thompson posted six points, three rebounds, one steal, and one block in 22 minutes during Friday's game against the Knicks.

Thompson seems to have lost his job as a starter and is now expected to come off the bench moving forward. This will likely limit his production as his minutes are limited down the stretch.

Thompson had tallied only 17 points combined in his previous four games, so relying on him to score like this is a task fraught with peril, especially considering he is shooting at 40 percent for the season. He'll have a few more big games like this throughout the season, but Saturday's line came without Jason Richardson (rest) playing. He can likely safely be left alone in most leagues.

Thompson scored a career-high 23 points (8-12 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 3-3 FT) with three rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal in 31 minutes off the bench Tuesday.

He's on a bit of a roll, averaging 15.0 points, 4.3 boards, 3.3 threes and 1.3 steals over his last three games. The Sixers' roster is crowded with wing players trying to make an impression and prove they belong in the NBA, but if Thompson keeps producing at this pace he's earn a bigger share of the rotation.

Thompson had 12 points (4-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt) to go with three rebounds and an assist in 27 minutes off the bench Saturday.

Thompson scored in double figures for the first time since returning from an illness that sidelined him for 11 games. He is averaging six points and 2.5 rebounds in 18.4 minutes over his last ten contests. While Saturday was a nice game from Thompson, he still carries limited value.

Thompson (illness) played for the first time since Dec. 19 and had seven points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt) in 17 minutes in the loss to Atlanta on Tuesday.

Thompson missed 11 games. He can be a 3-point sniper and should earn minutes in the Philadelphia lineup which is bereft of NBA talent.

It's difficult to pinpoint who, exactly, stands to benefit from his absence, as the 76ers' rotations have proven to be as sporadic as any this season. That said, K.J. McDaniels and Tony Wroten would appear to be the most likely candidates.

The team has not said how long Thompson will be out for, but he was not actually ruled out for Sunday until he got evaluated earlier, so consider him day-to-day going forward. Without Thompson in the lineup, the Sixers will only have nine healthy bodies for their game Sunday night, which means teammates K.J McDaniels and Tony Wroten could see a lot of playing time.

Thompson scored 21 points (7-8 FG, 5-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with four rebounds and three steals Saturday in 41 minutes.

In his two previous games, Thompson had totalled just 10 points and one three-pointer, so this game is likely a fluke and Thompson should be owned only in deeper leagues.

Thompson will start Saturday in place of the injured Tony Wroten (knee), Tom Moore of Calkins Media reports.

Thompson has been more efficient off the bench this season, but he will likely move back into the starting lineup for the next couple games with Wroten out at least until Dec. 5. Thompson has averaged 7.9 points in 29.5 minutes in his 11 starts this season.

Thompson will come off the bench Friday against the Suns, the Philly Inquirer reports.

Thompson has been out-played by Tony Wroten, who will move into the starting lineup. It's questionable if this move is for the long term, so we'll have to wait and see what the Sixers do following Friday's matchup. If he continues to come off the bench, Thompson would be even more limited in his fantasy value.
