Prigioni will move to the bench for Saturday's game against the Hornets.
Prigioni will give way to Cleanthony Early who is making his first-career start Saturday. However, Prigioni played limited minutes as a starter and will likely be able to retain the 19.8 minutes that he's currently averaging this season when he comes off the bench against the Hornets.

Prigioni was moved into the starting lineup at shooting guard and had five points (1-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds and three assists in 23 minutes Friday.
The Knicks are reeling from injuries and decided to start Prigioni alongside Jose Calderon. Although he got the start, his minutes did not significantly increase and his production was very much in line with his averages for this season. Through 32 games, he has averaged 5.3 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.1 three-pointers in 20 minutes per game.

Prigioni (ankle) played 22 minutes off the bench Tuesday after sitting out Monday's practice. He put up five points (2-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one rebound, nine assists, and five steals.
Prigioni put some stank on it Tuesday, taking advantage of extra minutes in a blowout, and playing against the Mavericks' second unit, Prigioni put up one of the most interesting fantasy lines of the season for a reserve player. Through 25 games, he's averaging 5.3 points, 2.5 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers in 20 minutes per game, production that is only worth using in the deepest of leagues.

Prigioni scored 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt), with six assists, three rebounds and one steal in 29 minutes during Wednesday's loss to the Mavericks.
Prigioni seems to be past the ankle injury, and he played solid minutes while producing a nice spark off the bench for the Knicks on Wednesday night.

Prigioni (ankle) scored three points (1-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT) to go along with two rebounds, three assists and one steal in 22 minutes Monday against the Hawks.
Prigioni provides the Knicks with depth at point guard and is a solid defender, but he doesn't contribute enough on a consistent basis to be a reliable fantasy option.
Mon Nov 10 201417:51Prigioni (ankle) available to play Monday against Hawks
Prigioni (ankle) is available to play Monday against the Hawks.
Prigioni injured his ankle Wednesday and missed both Friday and Saturday's contests. He'll be available to play Monday, however, and will likely be the primary backup to Shane Larkin.
Fri Nov 7 201419:08Prigioni (ankle) will not play Saturday
Prigioni (ankle) will not play Saturday, Newsday's Al Iannazzone reports.
Prigioni suffered the injury during Wednesday's game and wasn't able to return. The x-rays on his ankle came back negative, but he still had to miss Friday's game against the Nets and will now miss Saturday's game against the Hawks. He may also miss a game or two in the coming week if the ankle doesn't show improvement.
Fri Nov 7 201412:12Prigioni (ankle) will not play Friday
Prigioni (ankle) will not play Friday, Newday's Al Iannazzone reports.
Prigioni suffered the ankle injury Wednesday, and even though X-rays came back negative, he is still not ready to return to the lineup. When he got the injury, Prifioni was on the ground for some time, which may indicate a serious sprain. Since it's only been a few days since he received the injury, it would not be surprising to see him miss a few more games before he returns.
Wed Nov 5 201420:49X-rays on Prigioni's right ankle injury came back negative
X-rays on Prigioni's right ankle injury came back negative, but he will not return to the game Wednesday night, Newsday's Al Lannazzone reports.
With Prigioni out, look for Shane Larkin and Iman Shumpert to take over the point guard reps for the remainder of the evening. Consider Prigioni a game time decision leading up to Friday's contest against the Nets.
Wed Nov 5 201420:19Prigioni left Wednesday's game with apparent right ankle injury
Prigioni left Wednesday's game with an apparent right ankle injury, Newsday's Al Lannazzone reports.
Prigioni looked to be experiencing noticeable discomfort, and was down on the court for several minutes before being helped off to the locker room. The Knicks are now running out of healthy point guards, as both Jose Calderon (calf) and J.R. Smith are unavailable Wednesday night. If Prigioni is unable to return to the game, look for Shane Larkin to see heavy minutes, with Iman Shumpert also assuming some of the ball-handling duties.

Prigioni had been limited by a lower back injury, but has been able to play as part of the Knicks' second unit. He has limited fantasy appeal apart from the occasional 3-pointer.

Prigioni has a sore lower back and did not practice Monday, Newsday's Al Iannazzone reports.
It's not clear how serious the ailment is, but consider him day-to-day for now, and questionable for the season opener.
Sun Jul 27 201414:41Pablo Prigioni excited to backup Caldero
Knicks PG Pablo Prigioni is excited to play alongside former teammate Jose Calderon this season.
Prigioni projects as the Knicks' primary backup PG, ahead of Shane Larkin. "[Calderon] is a great player and very good professional, a great 3-point shooting guy," said Prigioni. "He can run the team and read the game very well and is a good defender." While NBA fans may quibble with the last point, the combination of Calderon and Prigioni gives New York a pair of veteran, pass-first guards who are also at the free throw line and behind the arc.

Pablo Prigioni will move to the bench on Monday night vs. the Pistons.

Tue Feb 18 201423:45Pablo Prigioni plays well in start
Pablo Prigioni had seven points, five rebounds, 10 assists, a steal and a 3-pointer on 3-of-5 shooting Tuesday.
He's starting for the Knicks but has been very inconsistent. He was clearly effective tonight, but getting him to do it again on Wednesday against the Pelicans will be easier said than done. Just keep an eye on him as long as he's starting for the Knicks.

Tue Feb 4 201400:59Prigioni posts low-end line in loss to MIL
Pablo Prigioni scored three points on 1-of-2 shooting with six rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes in Monday's loss to the Bucks.
Prigioni will be worth keeping tabs on in deeper leagues as long as he's starting, but he's going to struggle to accumulate any value at 20 minutes per game, which is what it looks like he'll be getting now that Iman Shumpert is back.

Sun Feb 2 201401:35Pablo Prigioni scores six points in start
Pablo Prigioni started again at shooting guard and had six points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in Saturday's loss.
He's failed to even score in two of his last four games and is averaging just 3.2 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, a steal and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five. As long as he's starting he's worth a close eye, but he's not doing enough to be owned in most leagues.

Fri Jan 24 201409:51Pablo Prigioni's role to jump with Bargs out
Pablo Prigioni is expected to start Pablo Prigioni next to Raymond Felton going forward.
The Andrea Bargnani injury has left coach Mike Woodson with little choice but to go with the double point guard lineup. However, that doesn't mean Prigioni will be a fantasy asset. He's started eight games this year, averaging 5.4 points, 3.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds while playing 26.5 minutes.

Mon Jan 20 201421:12Pablo Prigioni scores two points in start
Pablo Prigioni scored two points in 19 minutes in his return from a foot injury on Monday to go with five boards, two assists and three turnovers.
The Knicks like using Prigioni in the starting lineup and he's one of their better perimeter defenders. On the other hand, his 10.5 percent usage rate is dead last among all point guards with at least 10 minutes per game, which is obviously going to limit his fantasy upside. He's not on the radar in standard leagues.
