Crabbe (knee) will be active for Wednesday's matchup with the Clippers, the Blazers' official site reports.

Crabbe had been tagged with a questionable status after practicing earlier this week, but he'll return to the lineup following a two-game absence. It doesn't seem as if he's 100 percent, however, so prospective owners should temper their expectations.

Crabbe went through most of Tuesday's practice and said he felt "good" but is still "tentative" on his strained knee. "(I) still don't want to jump off it, put too much pressure on it. It feels fine," Crabbe said. "It feels fine. It really does. I just want to take it day-by-day now really." Crabbe is essentially a game-time call as of Wednesday afternoon, but it sounds like he's still less than 100 percent, so even if he's ruled in, he's best avoided in most daily formats.

Crabbe, who has missed the last two games, said his knee is at 85-to-90%, and he'll decide Wednesday morning whether he'll play Wednesday. The Cal product averaged 14.7 minutes in December but contributed only 3.2 points and 1.4 rebounds per game.

Crabbe (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against Orlando and Sunday's game against the Lakers.

Crabbe was previously listed as doubtful for Saturday's game, so his absence comes as little surprise. The Lakers will give him Sunday off as well, meaning Crabbe's next opportunity to take the court will be Wednesday against the Clippers. Dorell Wright figures to take on addition minutes at small forward in the meantime.

Crabbe is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game against the Magic as he's dealing with a left knee strain.

Crabbe will be further evaluated ahead of Saturday's game, although there's a good chance he'll be relegated to the sidelines against the Knicks. His next opportunity to play, if not Saturday, will be against the Lakers on Sunday.

With Nicolas Batum out with a wrist injury, Crabbe slots in as the starter, although it is difficult to bank on a starter's workload. Dorell Wright will also see minutes at the three, and the Blazers will use a variety of lineups to cover for Batum.

What's most troubling for Crabbe is that Friday's game against the Spurs went into three overtimes and he was given just 13 minutes of action. As a result, Crabbe is a very limited option even when given the opportunity to fill-in as a replacement starter.

With Nicolas Batum (wrist) out Friday, Crabbe will get the starting nod over Dorell Wright. He has averaged nine more minutes per game as a starter than a reserve, but his production has not changed much, as he is averaging just 5.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in his four starts.

Crabbe recorded eight points (3-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), two blocks, one rebound, and one steal in 14 minutes during Monday's victory against the Spurs.

Since earning four starts for the injured Nicolas Batum beginning on Nov. 11, Crabbe has been a consistent member of the Blazers' wing rotation. The 18-game stretch has revealed a fair defender to go with a decent stroke from three-point range, as evidenced by averages of 4.8 points (on 48 percent shooting), 1.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists, and 0.9 treys in 17 minutes. However, CJ McCollum will soon return from a broken right index finger, so it'll be interesting to see how coach Terry Stotts doles out the reserve guard minutes.

Crabbe started his third game in row for the injured Nicolas Batum (knee), and the workload marked a career high for the second-year guard. During his stretch in the starting five, Crabbe has averaged 5.7 points (on 33 percent shooting), 2.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, one three-pointer, 0.7 steals in 24 minutes. Although the output isn't of much interest, even in deeper formats, he'll seemingly get the nod, as long as Batum is out of commission.

Crabbe was put on the activated list with Batum's injury, and will jump immediately to a starter for the first time in his career. He's only played in two games this season, averaging 2.5 points in two minutes per game, but will get his chance to show the Blazer's organization what he can do in extended time. Batum may miss multiple games with his injury, so this will be Crabbe's audition for the rest of those games. Many thought Dorrell Wright would get the start as a replacement, so Crabbe will most likely split a majority of the time with him.

He played there last summer took a backseat to guys like C.J. McCollum, averaging just 4.8 points in 25.7 minutes. Crabbe is more of a pure shooter, so he may get a chance to work on other parts of his game.

The Trail Blazers announced on Sunday that they have recalled guard Allen Crabbe from the D-League.

Crabbe has averaged just five minutes over 12 games for Portland, and needless to say, he is not a fantasy option in any league.

He's played just 41 minutes all season and will only be an emergency guy. Crabbe is 5-of-8 from downtown on the season and 3-of-9 in the preseason, but hasn't really developed in other areas of his game yet.
