DALLAS (AP) — The Mavericks have re-signed restricted free agent Dorian Finney-Smith to a $12 million, three-year contract, bringing back the undrafted forward for a fourth season in Dallas.Finney-Smith has been on the back end of coach Rick Carlisle's rotation while averaging 5.9 points and 3.7 rebounds in 183 career games, with 74 starts. The former Memphis player is a solid defender whose 3-point shooting has improved slightly each season, although still hovering around 30 percent.The 26-year-old Finney-Smith has played in 81 games twice, including last season when he also made 26 starts. He had a career-best 35 starts as a rookie in 2016-17. Last season Finney-Smith averaged career bests of 7.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.Finney-Smith was one of three restricted free agents the Mavericks are bringing back. The others are the European pair of Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber. DALLAS (AP) — The Dallas Mavericks have signed Seth Curry to complete the guard's return after a year away and re-signed one of their restricted free agents in forward Maxi Kleber.Curry signed a $32 million, four-year contract after spending one season with Portland. Kleber is returning on a $35 million, four-year deal.Stephen Curry's younger brother had the best year of his career with the Mavericks in 2016-17, averaging 12.8 points, 2.7 assists and 29 minutes per game. The 28-year-old Curry missed all of 2017-18 with a stress reaction in his lower left leg before averaging 7.9 points with the Trail Blazers last season.Kleber's return means Dallas will have a German on its roster for a 22nd consecutive season. Dirk Nowitzki retired in April after setting an NBA record by playing 21 seasons with the same franchise. DENVER (AP) — Two people familiar with the situation say the Oklahoma City Thunder have traded forward Jerami Grant to the Denver Nuggets for a 2020 first-round draft pick.The people spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Monday because the trade hasn't been approved by league officials. ESPN first reported the deal. DALLAS (AP) — A person with direct knowledge of the deal says the Dallas Mavericks have acquired guard Delon Wright from the Memphis Grizzlies in a sign-and-trade agreement that could make the restricted free agent a starter alongside rookie of the year Luka Doncic.Wright and the Mavericks have agreed on a $29 million, three-year contract, agent Greg Lawrence said Sunday. PHOENIX (AP) — The Phoenix Suns have traded Josh Jackson and De'Anthony Melton to the Memphis Grizzlies for guards Jevon Carter and Kyle Korver.Phoenix also parted with a 2020 second-round pick and a conditional 2021 second-round selection in Sunday's deal.The move marks an abrupt end to Jackson's tenure in the desert.The No. 4 overall pick of 2017 NBA draft, Jackson was expected to lead the Suns back to the playoffs. He never quite lived up to the hype, averaging 12.3 points in two seasons. WASHINGTON (AP) — Forward Davis Bertans has been traded to the Washington Wizards by San Antonio as part of a three-team deal that allowed the Spurs to acquire DeMarre Carroll from the Brooklyn Nets.The 6-foot-10, 225-pound Bertans ranked sixth in the NBA last season in 3-point shooting percentage, making 42.9 percent of his attempts. He averaged 8.0 points and 3.5 rebounds for San Antonio.Bertans was a second-round draft pick in 2011, but the Latvian played professionally in Europe until joining San Antonio in 2016. His brother, Dairis, is with the New Orleans Pelicans.Carroll agreed to a $12 million, two-year contract with the Spurs.The Wizards sent the draft rights to forward Aaron White to Brooklyn in the trade.
