Barbosa (Achilles) won't play Saturday against the Timberwolves, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Barbosa is resting his sore Achilles for a second game in a row as a precautionary measure with the postseason imminent. His next opportunity to take the court will arrive Monday versus the Grizzlies.

Barbosa scored a season-high 19 points ( 8-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) Saturday, adding two rebounds, one assist and three steals in 28 minutes Saturday against the Utah Jazz.

Barbosa has now scored in double-digits in three straight games since Klay Thompson (ankle) has been out, providing much needed scoring punch off the bench. His 59 percent conversion in those three games is unrealistic, but while Thompson is sidelined, Barbosa should be expected to keep his minutes in the mid-20s. He's also gotten 1.0 steals in his last eights so has some value outside of scoring and with Golden State playing Monday and Tuesday, he could be a nice, short-term add.

Barbosa scored 12 points (4-of-7 FG, 1-of-2 3Pt) with three rebounds, four assists and a steal in Friday night's win over the Pelicans. He has four double-digit scoring efforts in his last five games.

A couple of things are at play here. First, with Klay Thompson (ankle) sidelined, Barbosa is getting a bit more run and shooting opportunities. Second, Golden State head coach Steve Kerr is looking to keep his starters fresh for the playoffs and will seek any opportunity to rest them in the final month of the regular season. So, where we normally see Thompson or Stephen Curry playing 35 minutes, Kerr may limit them to the high 20s, thus enabling more playing time for Barbosa.

Barbosa posted 14 points and dished nine assists in 25 minutes of action Friday against the Nuggets.

Barbosa made the most of Stephen Curry (rest) and Klay Thompson (rest) sitting out, and managed to post a solid performance Friday. Still, Barbosa is averaging just 13.5 minutes per game this year, and it will be hard for him to produce when Thompson and Curry return.

Barbosa (illness) was available to take court Wednesday against the Bucks, but ultimately logged a DNP-CD.

Barbosa is averaging just 14.5 minutes per game post All-Star break, and he wasn't able to get playing time in Wednesday's game. He'll be available to go moving forward, but his value will be limited in most fantasy leagues.

Barbosa is not anyone's idea of an elite fantasy player, but he can be a useful fringe asset in his limited minutes. He's hit for double-digit scoring in six of the last eight games, having gone 12-of-25 from three-point range. Barbosa's been in and out of the rotation this season, but he's currently the Warriors' hot hand off the bench and will continue to be when the team begins its post-All Star portion of the schedule.

Barbosa scored 16 points (5-7 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 5-7 FT) to go along with six rebounds, two assists and one block in 20 minutes Monday against Philadelphia.

Only two of the Warriors starters played over 30 minutes Monday against a bad Philadelphia squad, resulting in Barbosa playing at least 20 minutes for only the second time in his last 10 games. He has produced even in limited minutes though as he has scored at least 12 points in five of his last seven games. His fantasy value is clearly limited though as he's not going to provide much in the way of rebounds, assists or steals on a consistent basis.

Barbosa has shot himself back into the rotation, hitting 22-of-36 from the field and 8-of-13 from three-point range in the previous four games. He's averaging 14 points per game during this run.

Barbosa scored double-digit points for the third straight game in Tuesday night's win over the Kings. He scored 12 points (4-of-9 FG, 2-of-4 3Pt, 2-of-2 FT) with three rebounds, five assists and three steals in 22 minutes.

While this game eventually became a blowout, it was early work by the Golden State bench, including Barbosa, that put this thing away by halftime. Barbosa, who has been in and out of the rotation, appears to have moved ahead of Justin Holiday in the backcourt at this point in time. He's typicaly an inconsistent element, but Barbosa can heat up quickly. He's made 17-of-27 from the field, including 5-of-9 from three-point range, during his three-game run.

Barbosa scored 14 points (7-of-11 FG, 0-of-1 3Pt) in 13 minutes in Saturday's win over the Suns.

That's two consecutive games with double-digit scoring for Barbosa, who scored 15 points in 13 minutes in Friday's loss to the Jazz. He's been in and out of the rotation this season, but has a hot hand right now -- 13-of-19 the last two games. He's been too inconsistent for head coach Steve Kerr to rely on every game, but he can be a hot hand on any given night.

Barbosa, who had averaged 20 minutes over the previous three games, played just four minutes in Saturday night's 131-106 win over the Rockets.

Barbosa was given some extra run this past week when head coach Steve Kerr rested Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala during a stretch of four games in five nights in different cities. With all hands on board Saturday, Barbosa resumed his normal end-of-bench role.

Barbosa played ahead of Shaun Livingston in the rotation for a second straight game in Wednesday night's win over Miami. He had nine points, two assists and a steal in 18 minutes.

Livingston has been given a couple of nights off while the Warriors begin a stretch of four games in five nights in five cities, so Barbosa has re-entered the rotation temporarily. If this situation continues Friday night in Oklahoma City, we'll start considering Barbosa, who played five minutes in the four games previous to this week's two-game run, more seriously as a fantasy-worthy player.

At the start of the season and before a slight knee injury, head coach Steve Kerr had Barbosa in the rotation, giving him about 15 minutes a night. Lately, however, his playing time has dried up. He's played a total of 24 minutes in the last six games, twice being a DNP.

Barbosa is part of the team's rotation when healthy but has been dealing with a sprained knee over the past week.

Barbosa has not played in the past two games, and was very limited in the previous two games due to his sprained right knee. Expect Barbosa to again be limited Sunday, and likely play around 10 minutes in that contest.
