Tue Nov 27 201222:07Jeremy Pargo scores eight in loss
Jeremy Pargo had eight points, four rebounds, five assists, a steal and a 3-pointer on 3-of-12 shooting in Tuesday's ugly loss to the Suns.
After starting hot with scoring lines of 28, 15 and 16 points in his first three starts for Kyrie Irving, Pargo has cooled off over the last two, averaging 8.5 points and four assists in his last two games, and hitting just 11-of-36 shots over his last three. He is still worth using until Kyrie Irving returns, as long as he keeps the starting job, and we don't expect his shooting slump to last much longer.

Mon Nov 26 201223:59Pargo scores nine points with three boards
Jeremy Pargo scored nine points on 4-of-12 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 31 minutes on Monday against the Grizzlies.
Pargo may have been pressing against his old team, and these are the breaks with a younger, less talented player who had turned in two nice games prior to tonight. He's not going to excel in all of them, but he has a pretty good chance of bouncing back the next time out as long as no major changes are made.

Sat Nov 24 201222:32Jeremy Pargo scores 16 points w/ seven dimes
Jeremy Pargo finished a tough loss to the Heat on Saturday with 16 points on 4-of-13 FGs and 6-of-8 FTs, seven assists, and four turnovers in 33 minutes.
Pargo is unlikely to ever recreate his monstrous line from Wednesday, but he should remain a viable option while Kyrie Irving is sidelined for a few more weeks.

Fri Nov 23 201222:13Jeremy Pargo scores 15 in loss to Magic
Jeremy Pargo made another start at point guard Friday but it wasn't quite as spectacular as Wednesday's game, as he finished with 15 points on 7-of-14 shooting, but just one assist in the loss.
Pargo had 28 points and four assists in his debut as a starter, and while tonight's game was a far cry from that one, it was still a good night for a player you got off waivers. He also hit a 3-pointer, and remains a player to hold onto as long as he's starting for Irving.

Wed Nov 21 201221:57Pargo scores career-high 28 points in start
Jeremy Pargo scored a career-high 28 points in his start at point guard for injured Kyrie Irving (finger) on Wednesday, hitting 11-of-19 shots (including four threes) with five rebounds, four assists, and one steal in 39 minutes.
Our deepest apologies for calling him a fantasy non-factor earlier in the day, but if you read some of the other work on the site and on Twitter perhaps you knew he had a shot at a big night going in. Bryon Scott like him for his defense and he was able to show his offensive ability tonight, keeping former backup Donald Sloan on the bench all night. Daniel Gibson (elbow) didn't play tonight and his return will definitely hinder Pargo, but on a shallow team there could be plenty of minutes to go around. Owners shouldn't expect this every night, but Pargo is a must-own player in most formats after this result.

Wed Nov 21 201211:43Jeremy Pargo will replace Kyrie Irving at PG
Jeremy Pargo will start at point guard for the injured Kyrie Irving (finger) on Wednesday.
Pargo has only played in three games this season, but he's getting the start while Irving is sidelined. He's not a fantasy option, and we'd expect Dion Waiters to do a lot of on-ball work with Daniel Gibson jumping into the fray as well.

Sat Nov 17 201222:27Jeremy Pargo takes over as Cavs' backup PG
Jeremy Pargo replaced Donald Sloan as the Cavs' backup PG on Saturday.
This won't impact fantasy lineups, but it's another sign of Byron Scott's frustration with his bench. Scott recently suggested signing a free agent to improve the second unit, and it's a situation deep-league owners should watch closely.

Thu Oct 4 201220:43Pargo ahead of Sloan for backup PG duties
Jeremy Pargo has drawn nothing but praise from Byron Scott during training camp, while Donald Sloan is on the roster bubble according to beat writer Sam Amico.
We'll swap them on the depth chart, but neither of them will have any fantasy value without an injury to Kyrie Irving.

Wed Sep 19 201208:29Report: Cavs could waive Jeremy Pargo
The Cavs could waive Jeremy Pargo, according to Sam Amico of Fox Sports Ohio.
Amico is guessing and isn't really offering insight into the team's thinking, and it would be a rather curious move considering Pargo has guaranteed money and the Cavs are thin at point guard behind Kyrie Irving. We're not sold that waiving Pargo is a slam dunk, but it's certainly an option.

Wed Jul 25 201220:31Grizzlies trade Jeremy Pargo to Cavaliers
Grizzlies trade G Jeremy Pargo, a 2014 second-round pick and cash to Cleveand for G/F D.J. Kennedy.
If ever there was a trade that had no fantasy relevance, it's this one. Both players will spend most of their time on the bench for their new teams.

Tue Apr 3 201201:14Pargo pretty quiet in start for Mike Conley
Jeremy Pargo started for injured Mike Conley in the Grizzlies' win over the Thunder on Monday, scoring 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting (including two threes) with one assist in just under 20 minutes.
Pargo apparently isn't up to the task of running the team with a full set of minutes, and O.J. Mayo got the task of running the point for stretches tonight. Give Pargo a look if you're desperate, but we need him to play much more before giving the okay in standard leagues. Tony Allen added 15 points, eight boards, and a steal, Marc Gasol went for 13 and eight, and Rudy Gay hit just 4-of-15 shots for 12 points with eight boards and two assists.

Sun Jan 1 201222:35Jeremy Pargo struggles in start for Grizzlies
Filling in for injured Mike Conley (ankle), Jeremy Pargo scored just four points on 2-of-13 shooting as the Grizzlies were routed in Chicago on Sunday.
Pargo only had one assist in 27 minutes and has minimal fantasy appeal even when he has the starting gig in hand. Conley is day-to-day, so leave Pargo on the waiver wire.

Sat Dec 31 201103:32Pargo gets company in fill-in duty for Conley
Jeremy Pargo started for injured Mike Conley (ankle) in the Grizzlies' 113-93 win over the Rockets on Friday, scoring 14 points on 6-of-10 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds and five assists in 22 minutes of action.
The minutes were down because he was outplayed at times by rookie Josh Selby, and if Conley misses any time owners will want to downgrade Pargo as a spot-starter accordingly. Expecting numbers like tonight isn't out of the question, however.
