F Solomon Hill chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds Thursday.

F Solomon Hill started for the Pelicans on Tuesday after missing the two previous games to be with his wife for the birth of a daughter.

F Solomon Hill came off the bench to sink three 3-pointers and also give the Pacers a defensive boost."We did a really good job collectively on the defensive end," Hill said. "We maintained that defensive tenacity throughout the entire game. Now we just have to go into Game 7 and leave everything out there on the floor."

F Solomon Hill made seven of 11 3-point attempts and finished with 25 points to lead Indiana to a 97-92 over the Bucks on Wednesday night in the regular-season finale for both teams. Hill averaged 6.9 points on 49 percent shooting in his previous 10 games.

PG Solomon Hill contributed 13 points and 12 rebounds Sunday in the Pacers' win over the Nets.

Hill (ankle) has been ruled out of Tuesday's preseason game against the Pistons, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.

The ankle injury will sideline Hill for a second consecutive game, but the Pacers aren't viewing it as an overly worrisome situation just yet. Once healthy, Hill will fill a bench role for the Pacers.

Hill (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's preseason matchup with Orlando, Candace Buckner of the Indy Star reports.

Hill is dealing with a minor ankle injury and will be held out, likely as a precaution. The third-year forward scored 10 points in Saturday's preseason opener against New Orleans and followed up with six points in 14 minutes Tuesday night in Detroit.

Hill is looking to develop as a leader for a young Pacers squad as he heads into his third straight summer league, the Indy Star reports. "We're running the same stuff here that we run during the year," Hill said. "If I can help guys get it right the first time that's what I'm here for. Myles [Turner] is 19 years old. He's not going to get everything right away, and my job is to make it easy for him."

Coming off an impressive 2014-15 campaign in which he started 78 games, Hill is primarily on the Orlando Summer League team in order to help rookies transition into the league. Through two games starting at small forward in Orlando, Hill has averaged 6.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.5 steals in 27 minutes per game. With the return of a healthy Paul George, the resigning of Rodney Stuckey, and the signing of Monta Ellis, Hill could see a decline in minutes. However, if George sees more minutes at power forward, due to the team's lack of depth there, Hill could see equal playing time to last season.

Hill averaged 8.9 points (40% FG, 33% 3PT, 83% FT), 0.8 three-pointers, 2.2 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 0.8 steals in 29 minutes per game for 82 regular season games in 2014-15.

In his second year in the NBA, Hill saw a lot of action, starting in 78 games due to an injury-plagued Pacers roster. During November, he averaged 13.1 points, 1.1 three-pointers, 1.9 assists, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.1 steals with George Hill, Rodney Stuckey, and C.J. Miles all dealing with injuries that month. Once the Pacers became healthy, though, Hill's production shrank as competition grew for minutes, limiting his upside for use in fantasy. The 24-year-old small forward should have less competition for minutes in 2015-16, with Rodney Stuckey leaving in free agency, and the possible losses of David West and Roy Hibbert if they decline their player options. Team president Larry Bird also wants Paul George to play some power forward next season, which would allow Hill to get more minutes at small forward. Fantasy owners should keep an eye on the Pacers' offseason moves to better gauge Hill's role in 2015-16.

Hill played in Sunday's game despite dealing with an illness but was held to 14 minutes in a win over the Mavericks. He finished the game with two points (1-2 FG) and six assists.

In March, Hill was averaging 26.9 minutes per game, so he was clearly held back by the illness. He had played in at least 23 minutes in each of his past 13 games but now has scoring games in the single digits in three of his past four appearances.

Hill is dealing with an illness but will play in Sunday's game against the Sixers.

Hill will likely be able to take on his full workload Sunday despite his illness. Over his past four games, he's averaging 20.3 minutes on the court as he continues to start.

Hill posted 12 points, three rebounds, three assists, and one steal during Wednesday's start against the Pelicans.

Hill has enjoyed numerous stints in the starting lineup and it appears that he'll continue to have the edge over Rodney Stuckey when play resumes after the All-Star break. That being said, Hill is only averaging 9.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.0 steal, 0.2 blocks on 31.0 minutes per game this season and is lackluster option in standard leagues.

Hill will start Wednesday in New Orleans, the Pelicans' official site reports.

Hill will remain in the starting five over Rodney Stuckey. In 11 nods as a starting guard this season, Hill has averaged 12.1 points (on 36 percent shooting), 5.4 rebounds, two assists, and 1.1 steals in 36 minutes.

Hill scored nine points (3-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 3-3), to go with four rebounds, and three assists in 24 minutes on Sunday.

Hill is in a rotation with C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey over the shooting guard spot in Indiana. The result limits the upside for all three players, which makes Hill a guy that should be left on the waiver wires.

Hill scored 11 points (5-8 FG, 1-1 FT) and added four rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 36 minutes against the Cavaliers Friday.

Hill took Rodney Stuckey's starting spot for Friday, drawing LeBron James as his defensive assignment. Hill and Stuckey have rotated into and out of the starting lineup all season, and it is unlikely that Friday will represent the last of those swaps. Whether or not he starts, Hill retains a stable roll in the Pacers' rotation, even though he carries limited fantasy value.

Hill will start at small forward Tuesday against the Heat, the Indianapolis Star's Candace Buckner reports.

He has been in and out of the Pacers' starting lineup this season, and will be tasked with guarding LeBron James for much of Friday's game. With this in mind, he should not be expected to do much on offense. Rodney Stuckey goes to the bench as a corresponding move.

Hill will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Pistons, Candace Buckner of the Indy Star reports. He was replaced in the starting lineup by C.J. Miles.

Hill has started 48 of the 49 games he's played in this season. In his one game off the bench, Hill put up 16 points, three rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and one three-pointer in 30 minutes. Given how many minutes Hill played the last time he was sent to the bench, fantasy managers should hold onto him until we see how many minutes he's going to play in a bench role. Miles has started nine games this season, playing 25 minutes per game and shooting 30 percent from the field.

Hill continues to start for the Pacers in his second season. He is averaging 32 minutes a game.

As long as the second year forward gets minutes he will produce in steals and free throw percentage. He is averaging one steal per game and is shooting 80 percent from the stripe. The 23 year-old also adds 10.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game, which aren't great numbers but in deeper leagues Hill has value.
