OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Quinn Cook has been a remarkably steady fill-in for the injured Stephen Curry, and the Golden State Warriors rewarded the former two-way guard with a new contract Tuesday.The 25-year-old Cook, who has impressed his coaches and teammates with his growth and poise on and off the court, had to sign an NBA contract before the playoffs begin this weekend to be eligible. He received a two-year deal.Going into Tuesday's regular-season finale at Utah, Cook had reached double-figure scoring in 14 straight games. He was averaging 17.5 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.9 assists and nearly one steal per game in 35 minutes during that 14-game stretch while shooting 53 percent and 50.7 percent from 3-point range.Earlier this season, he became the first G League player to shoot at least 50 percent from the field, 40 percent on 3s and 90 percent from the free throw line."I knew he had it in him. (AP) — Stephen Curry will miss at least three weeks with a sprained left knee, meaning the Golden State Warriors will be without their do-everything point guard and second-leading scorer for the rest of the regular season.Curry could be back at the start of the playoffs next month if all goes well in rehabbing his latest injury. An MRI on Saturday showed a Grade 2 sprain of his medial collateral ligament and the team said Curry would be re-evaluated in three weeks — that would be April 14 and a possible Game 1 of the playoffs for Golden State.The two-time MVP had returned from a six-game absence after his latest right ankle injury Friday night only to injure his left knee. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Golden State Warriors are again missing more than just two-time NBA MVP Stephen Curry, with reserves Andre Iguodala, Jordan Bell and David West all out for the game at Minnesota.Iguodala (sprained left wrist) and Bell (sprained right ankle) each sat for the third straight game, when the Warriors visited the Timberwolves on Sunday. West (right arm cyst) was on the inactive list for the fourth consecutive game.Iguodala was originally deemed a game-time decision by coach Steve Kerr but unable to play.Another player off the bench, Patrick McCaw, was out for a 10th straight game because of a broken left wrist.Curry didn't accompany the team on the two-game road trip because of an injured right ankle.
