The Blazers are extremely shorthanded, which should give Reddish some streaming appeal However, he's coming off the bench, which does hurt his value a bit.

The NBA trade deadline has officially come and gone and we had one of the most active deadlines in recent memory with some big stars being dealt. These are very much in order of how much they matter. Let's start with the Spurs sending their starting center back up North where he started his career.Jakob Poeltl to the RaptorsI am a huge Poeltl fan and was close to acquiring him on multiple teams before the deadline. It was a curious move by Toronto to be buyers instead of sellers at the deadline, but Poeltl gives them the presence at the five they have been lacking all season and allows Siakam to shift over and play PF where he belongs.Poeltl is no longer a shutdown candidate and has legit top-50 upside with his multi-category abilities. According to ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Knicks are sending forward Cam Reddish to Portland in exchange for Josh Hart. Reddish has been on a downward spiral since entering the league in 2019. He's averaged only 8.4 points in 20 games for the Knicks during the 2022-23 campaign, although he couldn't crack a regular spot in Tom Thibodeau's rotation. However, with Reddish now moving on to his third team, he'll have a chance to earn a more prominent role in the lineup. Fantasy managers should keep the 23-year-old on the roster for now, especially considering he may receive more opportunities to produce in Portland.

New York Knicks forward Cam Reddish (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. This marks the third game in a row that Reddish has missed due to right groin soreness. Quentin Grimes will continue to see increased playing time without Reddish available. Grimes has filled in nicely for Reddish, which makes him a possible short term fantasy asset. He isn't a fantastic option in 12-team formats, but Grimes is worth a look in deeper leagues.
