Atlanta Hawks forward Cam Reddish (wrist) is listed as probable for Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets. He has missed each of the last four games due to a left wrist sprain. The Hawks desperately need Reddish back with their roster extremely shorthanded. Solomon Hill (hamstring) is done for the season, and Bogdan Bogdanovic (ankle) is ruled out for this game. Reddish would have favorable streaming value, assuming he is able to play on Friday. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot would see less minutes, but could be worth holding in the short term. Although, Reddish is the much better option between the two, assuming he plays and isn't limited on Friday.

Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes (eye) is expected to miss at least two games, but could possibly sit out more than that. He underwent a procedure to repair a right eye laceration. Holmes suffered the injury late in November, but has been able to play through the issue. It sounds like the issue was too much for him, so he'll get the issue fixed. In the meantime, Marvin Bagley III, Alex Len, and Tristan Thompson will all be asked to pick up the slack. Bagley has the most upside out of the three and could be worth rostering in the short term. Also, Thompson is a plus rebounder, so he could be worth snagging in category leagues.

Minnesota Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell (ankle) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He has missed each of the last two games, which has freed up more minutes for Malik Beasley. That should remain the case if Russell is unable to play again. Beasley has been a strong fantasy option while getting additional time on the court. Patrick Beverley (groin) is listed as probable for this contest. His absence would mean an even bigger role for Beasley and Anthony Edwards.

Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown (hamstring) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Phoenix Suns. This marks the fifth game in a row that Brown has missed due to a hamstring issue. Dennis Schroder should remain in the starting five and have strong DFS appeal for Friday. After this upcoming contest, the Celtics are off until Monday. Possibly, Brown returns around then, but it's uncertain right now. Until then, Schroder and Marcus Smart will continue getting increased value. Also, Jayson Tatum will be a popular DFS option while he's forced to carry the load on offense.

San Antonio Spurs guard Keldon Johnson (ankle) is not expected to suit up for Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets. He already missed Tuesday's contest and will sit out on Thursday as well. Head coach Gregg Popovich mentioned Johnson is unlikely to be healthy enough to play during their rematch with Denver on Saturday. Keita Bates-Diop, Doug McDermott, and Devin Vassell are expected to all see increased playing time. Vassell is the best option out of the trio. He is a solid streaming option and should be rostered in most formats while Johnson is out.

It sounds like he'll likely absorb more minutes with Keldon Johnson (ankle) sidelined. Vassell has proven to be a reliable option when healthy. He should be a popular DFS option for Thursday's small slate. Johnson is likely to miss multiple games, so fantasy managers should check the waiver wire to see if Vassell is available.

Denver Nuggets forward Will Barton (knee) is available for Thursday's game against the San Antonio Spurs. He has been dealing with a right knee contusion, but appears fine for this matchup. That being said, fantasy managers should make sure Barton is in their lineups for Thursday's slate. He should be the second scoring option on the team behind Nikola Jokic. That also means, Barton should be a solid bet for DFS contests on Thursday.

New Orleans Pelicans guard Kira Lewis Jr. (knee) will miss the rest of the season after suffering multiple injuries. The second-year guard has suffered a torn right ACL and Grade 2 MCL sprain. His absence will mean Josh Hart should handle the ball more, while Tomas Satoransky gets more minutes. Also, Devonte' Graham could see more playing time as the starter. Hart is likely going to benefit the most out of the three and is worth rostering in most fantasy formats. Satoransky could have some deep league appeal, but doesn't need to be rostered everywhere.

Memphis Grizzlies forward Kyle Anderson (back) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Anderson continues to deal with back soreness and is likely to miss his fifth game in a row. Dillon Brooks should see minutes in the 30s without Anderson available. He'll have increased streaming appeal while Anderson remains sidelined. Santi Aldama and John Konchar should see a few more minutes. However, neither of them have enough value to warrant starting in any formats.

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner expressed his frustration with his current role on the team. He mentioned that he's not a finished product and is ready to take the next step. Turner also added that he's a "glorified role player" in Indiana. It seems obvious that Turner wants a change of scenery. A trade isn't hard to believe considering all three of Turner, Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert were reportedly candidates to be traded. The hope is that Turner's fantasy value would grow, assuming he gets moved. Although, it is also dependent on where he lands. Isaiah Jackson and Goga Bitadze should be monitored in fantasy leagues in case a Turner trade does happen at some point.

Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner had one of his best offensive games of the season on Wednesday, shooting 8-for-13 from the field and 3-for-7 from outside to finish a 122-102 win over the Knicks with 22 points. As usual, Turner was big for the team on the defensive end as well with one steal and two blocks, and he finished things off with four rebounds and one turnover in 32 minutes. Turner has now gone for three triples in four December appearances, and he's shooting over 60 percent for the month. All things point to another productive night for him on Friday, when Indiana faces a Mavericks team that owns the second-worst defensive record in the league against centers.

Indiana Pacers forward/center Domantas Sabonis did very little wrong in Wednesday's win over the Knicks, shooting 7-for-8 from the field and 5-for-7 at the foul line to get another double-double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. He nailed both of his shots from deep and recorded five assists and one block with zero turnovers in 33 minutes. Sabonis now boasts a double-double from nine of his last 10 games. The two-time All-Star finds himself in trade rumors, but he hasn't let it affect him, and judging by his recent performances, it looks like Sabonis is even trying to impress potential suitors. He'll return to action on Friday in a very favorable matchup against Dallas.

Indiana Pacers shooting guard Chris Duarte made almost all of his shots while getting a game-high 23 points in Wednesday's 122-102 win over the Knicks. He was 9-for-11 from the field and 3-for-4 at the line with a 2-for-2 record from downtown. Duarte handed out six assists with one turnover and grabbed three rebounds and one steal in 30 minutes of action. The 24-year-old has been on a nice run lately, and bigger and better things look to be on the horizon for him, with the Pacers looking to move some of the starters to give younger guys like Duarte a chance to develop. Fantasy managers should definitely have him on their radar.

Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant led all scorers with 28 points as the team took a 119-116 overtime loss from Washington Wednesday night. He shot 6-for-16 from the field and 14-for-15 at the line, sinking both attempts from three-point range. Grant recorded five rebounds and handed out three assists with three turnovers while coming up with two steals and one block on the defensive end. The 27-year-old started to improve his form during the latter half of last month, and he's found a great rhythm in December, averaging 27.3 points per game. Meeting a Pelicans team that boasts the league's least efficient defense puts Grant in a great spot to stay hot on Friday.

Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal missed both of his attempts from deep Wednesday night against Detroit, but he had a solid shooting performance overall and finished a 119-116 overtime win with 25 points. Beal was 10-for-19 from the field and shot 5-for-8 at the foul line, adding six rebounds, three assists, one steal and four turnovers in 43 minutes. Washington's star man made a sloppy start to the month, but he's bounced back by getting 59 points across two games. He'll go head to head with the red-hot Donovan Mitchell next as Utah comes to visit on Saturday, which will be a fascinating matchup.
