Phoenix Suns small forward Mikal Bridges led the team in scoring Tuesday night against the Pelicans, shooting 9-for-15 from the field en route to 22 points in 42 minutes. He nailed two triples with four attempts and added a pair of points at the charity stripe with perfect shooting. Sadly, Bridges couldn't get much else done, recording only one rebound and one assist. It's the second time this season that Bridges had led the Suns in scoring. His work in other areas needs improvement, but his scoring rate has been very impressive as Bridges has been hitting 57 percent from the field 44 percent from deep. He should be able to put up good numbers again in Thursday's matchup against the Rockets, who sit at the top of the league in pace with 105.9.

Phoenix Suns forward Mikal Bridges produced well on both ends of the floor in Friday's win over the Lakers. Bridges scored 21 points with five rebounds, three assists, three steals, two triples, and a block in 35 minutes. The Villanova product has now taken double-digit shot attempts in each of the first two games of the year- something that should allow him to have more nights such as this one. It looks like there is even more room for Bridges to grow following his excellent campaign last year.
