Sat Oct 21 202315:37Coby White Likely To Start This Season
According to K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, Bulls guard Coby White will start this season. Lonzo Ball (knee) won't play, so there's a void at the one that needs filling. The 23-year-old hasn't been a consistent producer since entering the league and averaged a career-low 9.7 points in 2022-23. However, he played well throughout the preseason, averaging 13.2 points and 4.0 assists. But if White doesn't continue to perform at an acceptable level alongside DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine, and Nikola Vucevic, Ayo Dosunmu or Jevon Carter may supplant him on the depth chart.

Sun Aug 20 202309:22Bulls Have Big Belief In Coby White
Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White is still seen as a valuable member of the team despite the 23-year-old averaging a career-low 9.7 points last season. "Coby White had I thought a terrific year last year. I think the growth he has shown over the last three years has been second to nobody on the roster," Bulls general manager Marc Eversley said on the "Bulls Talk Podcast". "I think his ability to shoot (and) he's much more comfortable handling it now. He doesn't get pressured or panic anymore." Eversley is pleased that the Bulls were able to bring White back. He signed a three-year, $40 million extension in the offseason. "He has found his voice in the locker room. He has become a quiet leader. We've seen growth and development from him. And that's why it was critical to bring him back," Eversley added.

Sun Aug 6 202309:47Coby White Backed For A Big Year
Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White is expected to produce a bounce-back campaign in 2022-23. "I think Coby White's gonna have a monster year," said K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago on the "Bulls Talk Podcast". "There's just something about the way he's trending, the way they just obviously so quickly moved to reward what they see in his potential and his work ethic." White dropped to the bench full-time last season and ended up averaging a career-low 9.7 points, but the Bulls extended his stay with a three-year, $36 million extension in the summer. The 23-year-old has registered 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists for his entire NBA career.

Fri Jun 30 202320:44Coby White Gets New Contract With Bulls
Guard Coby White agreed to a three-year, $33 million deal with the Bulls. The 23-year-old played his entire career in Chicago since being selected No. 7 overall in the 2019 NBA draft. In 269 games in the Windy City, the 23-year-old averaged 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. Unfortunately, his scoring output decreased in the last few seasons. But with Lonzo Ball (knee) unlikely to play in 2023-24, White may see an uptick in production, although he'll need to land a stable role.

Fri Jun 30 202316:00Coby White Is Expected To Re-Sign With Chicago
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White wanted to remain in the Windy City and it looks as though he's going to get his wish. As reported by Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports, White is expected to re-sign with the Bulls on a three-year deal worth north of $30 million. The 23-year-old hasn't met the lofty expectations that came with getting drafted seventh overall in 2019, but he's proven to be a solid role player coming off of the bench. He'd likely remain at his mark of around 20-to-23 minutes per contest and would only be relevant in fantasy leagues with more than 12 teams.

Mon Apr 17 202314:34Coby White Wants To Remain With Bulls
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White is set to become a restricted free agent this summer. However, the former ninth overall pick from 2019 would like to remain with the organization. White mentioned he loves playing in Chicago, but understands at the end of the day it's a business. Appearing in 74 games, White averaged 9.7 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists in 23.4 minutes per game. He's not exactly the star player Chicago was hopeful he'd turn into at some point. However, the Bulls do need depth at point guard with Lonzo Ball (knee) expected to miss all of next season. It remains to be seen if the two sides will come to an agreement, but White sounds like he's willing to return.

Mon Nov 14 202214:59Coby White Could Be A Possible Trade Candidate
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White is expected to be on the trade block this season. There are rumblings that the 22-year-old guard could be moved prior to February's trade deadline. This shouldn't come as a shock since White's production has taken a hit over the last few seasons. When healthy, White isn't producing the same and the Bulls have more reliable options right now. Ayo Dosunmu and Alex Caruso have stepped up and played well, which could mean the Bulls are considering moving White. At this point, White is extra depth and could be worth something decent on the trade market. Possibly, White would have better fantasy value elsewhere, but that remains to be seen.

Fri Nov 4 202215:29Coby White Downgraded To Out On Friday
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (quad) was previously listed as doubtful on the injury report, but now he's officially going to be sidelined for the team's game against the Boston Celtics. White doesn't have much fantasy value as it is unless it's in a ridiculously deep league. Alex Caruso and Goran Dragic will continue to be the better options, especially for however long he'll be out.

Wed Nov 2 202218:31Coby White Tagged As Questionable
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (quad) has officially been listed as questionable for Wednesday's game. With, Zach LaVine also tagged as questionable for this game, White could see some more time if he does end up playing and LaVine doesn't. That being said, he's only scored in the double digits in three of his seven games and has been shooting below 40% from the floor this season. There are better options out there and he's not even that great of an asset in deep leagues either.

Tue Nov 1 202218:43Coby White Ruled Out Tuesday, Targeting Friday Return
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (quad) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game with the Brooklyn Nets. White took a knee to his quad when playing against the Philadelphia 76ers and his quad ended up having some swelling, which lead to him being ruled out. White himself said he wants to play Wednesday, but is targeting Friday as a "good goal" to return by. With White out Tuesday, Goran Dragic and Javonte Green will likely see extra minutes off the bench.

Mon Oct 31 202222:09Ayo Dosunmu And Coby White Questionable Tuesday
Chicago Bulls guards Ayo Dosunmu (chest) and Coby White (quad) are both questionable to play Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets. Dosunmu missed last game and lead to a spot start from Alex Caruso while White played about 21 minutes off the bench. If both are unable to go, Caruso should remain in the starting lineup and Goran Dragic should see an increased role off the bench.

Thu Oct 6 202223:02Coby White Expected To Play On Friday
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (knee) had an MRI after suffering a left knee contusion in the preseason opener versus the New Orleans Pelicans. Fortunately, he didn't sustain any damage, so he will be good to go for Friday's meeting with Denver. The 22-year-old has played three seasons in Chicago since being drafted in 2019. He's averaged 13.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during that span, although he hasn't established a consistent role in the rotation. While Lonzo Ball (knee) won't be ready to start the regular season, White isn't expected to benefit, primarily since Ayo Dosunmu has emerged as the favorite to hold things down until Ball can return. The addition of Goran Dragic in the offseason also won't help him see the floor. Nonetheless, White was surrounded by trade rumblings during the offseason. However, a move may be good for the former Tar Heel, especially if he can carve out routine minutes with another club. For now, he's not worth much for fantasy managers outside of dynasty formats.

Sun Jul 31 202214:11Coby White Focused On Improving Ball-Handling
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White wants to improve his ball-handling while also adding some muscle this offseason. The hope is that adding muscle will help him on the defensive side of the ball. However, it could be tough for White to find consistent minutes in the Bulls rotation. They have Alex Caruso, Ayo Dosunmu and Goran Dragic all competing for minutes alongside White. It seems possible that the Bulls would look to trade White, considering the depth they have at guard. There is a good amount of upside in White's game, but it's tough to imagine him getting significant minutes in Chicago. He'll be worth watching in fantasy leagues, but probably won't have fantasy value right away.

Thu Jun 30 202214:41Coby White Likely To Remain In Chicago
Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White has been the subject of trade rumors this offseason. However, it seems likely at this point that he will be back in Chicago for the 2022-23 season. According to Joe Cowley of the Sun Times, the Bulls don't believe that other teams value White as highly as they do, making it hard for a trade to be completed. The 22-year-old averaged 12.7 points, 2.9 assists and 2.2 three-pointers per game last year while shooting a career-high 43.3% from the field. He has one year left on his contract with a qualifying offer for 2023-24.

Mon May 30 202221:00Coby White's Future In Chicago Uncertain
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White may be traded over the summer. With Chicago looking to add shooting ahead of the 2022-23 campaign, the team may look to move the 22-year-old to make that happen. White finished the regular season by averaging 12.7 points, 3.0 boards, and 2.9 assists while shooting 38.5% from deep. However, his numbers were much better throughout his 17 appearances in the starting lineup. Nonetheless, a change of scenery may be good for White, primarily if he can get consistent playing time on a new team. In the meantime, dynasty managers should continue to hold on to him, especially since his value could rise significantly in the months ahead.

Sat Feb 5 202218:21Zach LaVine, Coby White Questionable To Play Sunday
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine (back) and point guard Coby White (groin) have been deemed questionable for Sunday's contest against Philadelphia. The duo were unavailable Friday, which allowed Troy Brown Jr. and Matt Thomas to see significant minute increases -- roles that would likely remain in place Sunday if LaVine and White are held back. LaVine ranks 12th in the league in scoring (24.7 points per game), with his absence paving the way for Nikola Vucevic and DeMar DeRozan to see elevated offensive upside. White has ceded starting point guard duties to Ayo Dosunmu, but he has emerged as a consistent scoring threat off the bench with 13.2 points per game over his last six outings.

Fri Feb 4 202218:47Coby White Ruled Out Against Pacers
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White (groin) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. This is a tough blow with the Bulls already missing Zach LaVine (back), Lonzo Ball (knee), and Alex Caruso (wrist) due to injury. That means, Ayo Dosunmu and Javonte Green are likely to play significant minutes on Friday. Both could be possible streaming options or DFS candidates. Matt Thomas could play minutes in the 20s, but isn't as trustworthy as a fantasy option. DeMar DeRozan should be asked to take on a heavier load on offense with LaVine sidelined on Friday.

Fri Feb 4 202215:05Zach LaVine, Coby White Questionable To Play Friday
Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine (back) and point guard Coby White (groin) have been tagged as questionable to suit up for Friday's game vs. the Pacers. With Chicago on the second leg of a back-to-back and with another set for Sunday and Monday, it wouldn't be a surprise to see either player held out. LaVine, named to his second consecutive All-Star game, has enjoyed a strong first half, averaging 24.7 points per game on 48.6% shooting, the second-highest mark of his career. White has stepped into a larger role with Alex Caruso (wrist) down, but Ayo Dosunmu has stepped up to become the biggest beneficiary of the backcourt void. Fantasy managers will want to check back before tip-off as Dosunmu, DeMar DeRozanand Nikola Vucevic would all have elevated offensive upside if LaVine and/or White are held out.

Fri Dec 31 202120:04Coby White Nets 24 Points Against Pacers
Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White matched his season high with 24 points in Friday's nail-biting 108-106 win over Indiana. He was on fire from downtown with a 6-for-7 effort and shot 7-for-11 overall from the field with a 4-for-5 record at the foul line. White made himself useful all over the place, notching two rebounds, four assists, three steals and one block. He's taken a big step backward this season, but the 21-year-old is currently benefiting from the absences of Lonzo Ball (health and safety protocols) and Alex Caruso (foot). He'll get a few very favorable matchups now against Orlando and Washington, two teams that struggle to contain point guards.

Tue Dec 21 202108:14Coby White Produces 24 Points Against Houston
Chicago Bulls point guard Coby White ate up extra minutes following Alex Caruso's (ankle) exit and put together a 24-point performance in Monday's 133-118 win over Houston. He ended up logging 32 minutes and that gave in a chance to rack up five rebounds and two assists with two turnovers. White hit five three-point bombs and finished with 7-for-15 shooting. White took over Caruso's spot in the starting unit for the season half and we can expect him to stay there if the former Laker can't make a quick return. The Bulls will be back in action on Wednesday against Toronto.
