PG Steve Blake had 11 points for Detroit Saturday.

PG Steve Blake made his 1,000th career 3-pointer during the second quarter while adding a season-high 11 points.

Blake (concussion) is expected to remain sidelined for at least another seven-to-10 days, MLive.com's Aaron McCann reports.

Blake missed the Pistons' first two preseason games with the head injury and has yet to resume practicing after sustaining the concussion a week earlier. It remains undetermined if Blake will be ready before the start of the regular season.

Blake missed Friday's practice after suffering a concussion Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports' Marc Spears reports.

Blake is without a timetable to return, and he'll likely sit out at least a few more days as he recovers. With nearly four weeks until the start of the regular season, the Pistons certainly won't rush the veteran back.

Blake has been traded to the Pistons in exchange for Quincy Miller, Shams Charania of RealGM reports.

Blake was traded to the Nets during the 2015 NBA Draft, but he'll now be shipped to the Pistons. Blake will still have a tough time getting meaningful minutes though, as he'll be behind the likes of Reggie Jackson, Brandon Jennings and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the backcourt. During the 2014-15 season, Blake finished with averages 4.3 points, 1.7 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 0.5 assists over 19 minutes per game. He has one year left on his deal, so Blake will become a unrestricted free agent following the upcoming season.

Blake has been traded to the Nets along with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson in exchange for Mason Plumlee and Pat Connaughton.

Blake, at this stage will be behind Deron Williams and Jarrett Jack on the depth chart, rendering him alost unownable for most fantasy leagues, but if a move comes for either Jack or Williams, is relevance will be for deep leagues only.

Blake exercised the player option on his contract for next season Friday.

Blake had the option to remain with Portland or become a free agent, and he decided to stick with the Trail Blazers. He will likely be firmly behind Portland's starting guards and also C.J. McCollum in next year's rotation, and as such, his fantasy contributions figure to be minimal.

Blake logged time in all but one game in the 2014-15 season, averaging 4.3 points (on 37 percent shooting), 3.6 assists, 1.7 rebounds, and 1.0 three-pointers in 19 minutes.

Making his third turn with the Blazers in his 12-year career, Blake filled the role of Damian Lillard's backup capably for much of the season, but the veteran point guard's production fell off a cliff as the playoffs approached. From Apr. 1 through the Blazers' exit from the postseason, Blake was held scoreless six times in 13 appearances. In particular, his touch from three-point range fell apart -- he shot 25 percent (8-for-32) from beyond the arc during that stretch -- but the run also coincided with CJ McCollum's emergence as an offensive revelation. If Blake exercises his player option in the offseason, as expected, a large portion of his minutes could transfer to McCollum, depending upon how Wesley Matthews' (Achilles) unrestricted free agency proceeds.

Blake chipped in 14 points (5-8 FG, 4-7 3Pt), five assists, three rebounds, and one steal in 26 minutes during Wednesday's season final in Dallas.

On Monday, the Blazers lost both Nicolas Batum (knee) and CJ McCollum (ankle) to injury, but Blake failed to make an appearance, likely in order to rest for the postseason. With the duo on the pine Wednesday, Blake earned his most work since Dec. 23, and fifth-most run of the season. If Batum and McCollum remain afflicted by their respective ailments in Sunday's playoff opener at Memphis, Blake could play a larger role than normal.

Blake contributed 10 points (2-4 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), five assists, one rebound, and one steal in 15 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Warriors.

More often than not, Blake's outings are clunkers for fantasy purposes, but he'll occasionally tally an acceptable assist total or hit a few treys. On Tuesday, he was on point in both regards, knocking down multiple threes for the second time in 14 games, while dishing five-plus dimes for the fourth time in March. However, his output since the break -- 3.9 points (on 46 percent shooting), 2.7 assists, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.9 threes in 14 minutes -- doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

Blake recorded five points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three assists, one rebound, and one block in 23 minutes during Wednesday's victory against the Lakers.

With the return of Robin Lopez to begin February, the Blazers' rotation has stabilized, and Blake's workload in particular has jumped in kind. In five games this month, Blake has averaged 22 minutes, which is a modest boost from his 17 minutes per contest in January. His output still leaves something to be desired -- 5.2 points, 3.8 dimes, two rebounds, one trey, and one steal per outing in February -- but the soon-to-be 35-year-old is more crucial for his veteran savvy behind Damian Lillard than his relevance in fantasy circles.

Blake didn't score (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-1 FT) but added one assist and one rebound in 12 minutes during Saturday's defeat in Milwaukee.

Blake is generally good for a contribution on a nightly basis, but the veteran guard was largely invisible in the Blazers' eighth loss in 10 contests. His production in January fell all the way to 3.5 points (on 34 percent shooting) and 3.1 assists in 17 minutes per game, after averaging 22 minutes through the first two months of the season. The slump that has engulfed Portland could experience a turnaround once Robin Lopez (hand) and Joel Freeland (shoulder) revitalize the frontcourt. However, Blake's nightly lines aren't enough to garner interest in his age-35 season.

Blake has logged at least 20 reserve minutes in four consecutive games, and seven of the last nine, but he's currently enduring a prolonged shooting slump. In nine of the past 11 games, he's failed to knock down 50 percent of his field goal attempts, during which he's averaged 4.5 points (on 33 percent shooting), 3.2 dimes, 1.9 rebounds, and one three-pointer in 24 minutes. Coach Terry Stotts has displayed complete confidence in Blake to act as a complementary ballhandler to Damian Lillard, but the veteran guard is only supplying consistent assists and treys at the moment.

Blake scored 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-3 3Pt), with three assists and three rebounds in 24 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Nuggets.

Blake hasn't done much on a consistent basis this year, but he stepped up when his number was called on Tuesday night. He'll be a player to monitor, but only has value in deeper fantasy leagues currently.

Blake was held scoreless (0-6 FG, 0-5 3Pt) but dished out a team-high eight assists in 23 minutes during Monday's victory at Philadelphia.

Blake supplemented his line with three rebounds and one steal, but his shooting touch has mostly been awry this season, as evidenced by 35 percent from the field. While he's knocked down treys in nine of 14 tilts en route to 1.1 per game, perhaps his greatest contribution has been as distributor off the bench. In his return to Rip City, he's notched 4.4 dimes in 22 minutes nightly, which has kept the offense humming along when Damian Lillard heads to the bench.

Blake was held scoreless (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), and had two rebounds and two assists in 21 minutes during Tuesday's win over the Cavaliers.

Blake saw plenty of time on the court, but just didn't shoot much, or stay too involved in the offense, it seems. If he consistently gets these minutes, then he could be an interesting player to watch, but it'll be something to monitor over the next few games.

Blake (illness) will play in Portland's final preseason game Friday, the Oregonian reports.

Blake reportedly was going to miss the rest of the preseason because of the illness, but he's clearly feeling better and will play Friday against the Clippers. Don't be surprised if he's kept to a limited amount of minutes though.

Blake (illness) will not play Tuesday against Denver, Erik Gundersen of The Columbian reports.

Blake is dealing with an upper respiratory illness and will sit out Tuesday's exhibition. He'll have two more chances to play prior to the start of the regular season: Wednesday against the Lakers and Friday against the Clippers.

Blake's deal will reportedly be under Portland's bi-annual exception for $4.2 million over two years and the second year is a player option. Blake averaged 6.9 points, 1.4 3-pointers, and 5.6 assists per game with the Lakers and Warriors last season and will serve as a backup point guard who can also play shooting guard for the Blazers. This move doesn't necessarily rule out Mo Williams' return to Rip City, but it would seem unlikely at this point.

The Wolves could target unrestricted free agent Steve Blake in a possible sign-and-trade deal with the Warriors in a Kevin Love deal.

With the Wolves not dealing Love in the draft, the likelihood of the Warriors getting a deal done increases. Although, a team could easily deal a player they just drafted. As for Blake, he is also getting interest from the Knicks, but the addition of Jose Calderon makes them a bit less needy for a shooting point guard.
