Sat Feb 1012:12Jason Martin, Carson Fulmer Invited To Big-League Camp
The Los Angeles Angels invited outfielder Jason Martin and right-hander Carson Fulmer, among others, to big-league spring training this year. Martin, 28, was a former eighth-round pick by the Houston Astros in 2013. The left-handed hitter made his big-league debut in 2019 with the Pittsburgh Pirates and has hit just .206 (39-for-189) with six homers, 19 RBI and five steals in 85 games over three seasons. He hasn't played in the majors since 2021 with the Texas Rangers and spent 2023 in Korea. Martin will most likely end up at Triple-A Salt Lake to start 2024. Fulmer, 30, has spent parts of seven seasons in the big leagues and has a 6.14 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in 140 2/3 career innings over 77 outings (16 starts). He gave up three runs in 10 innings for the Halos during the 2023 campaign.

Wed Sep 8 202110:50Jason Martin Drives In Two Runs
Texas Rangers outfielder Jason Martin was one of the few sources of offense for this lineup on Tuesday. That isn't a sentence you're likely going to see often, but Martin was clutch here. He went 1-for-4 with a two-run single that helped the Rangers secure the 3-1 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Martin still has an ugly .200/.242/.343 slash line, so he won't be worth considering as a fantasy option down the stretch.

Sat Sep 4 202111:21Jason Martin Goes Deep Off Angels
Texas Rangers outfielder Jason Martin has been struggling with the bat all season long. However, he was able to make an impact during Friday's game against the Los Angeles Angels. He went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in the 3-2 loss. Martin slapped a two-run home run off Shohei Ohtani to tie up the game in the second inning. Despite a decent performance, Martin is slashing .195/.241/.352 with six home runs and 15 RBI this season. He's not worth rostering in any fantasy formats.

Wed Aug 25 202123:41Jason Martin Blasts Homer Off Cleveland
Texas Rangers outfielder Jason Martin was the only source of offensive production for this lineup on Wednesday. He went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in the 7-2 loss to the Cleveland Indians. Despite a solid two-hit outing, Martin is not worth rostering in any fantasy formats. He's slashing .179/.231/.330 on the year with five homers, 12 RBI this season. Hopefully his stats will get a little bit better, but he doesn't offer much upside with the bat.

Fri Aug 20 202112:01Jason Martin Hits Game-Tying Blast
Texas Rangers outfielder Jason Martin was almost the hero in a hard fought 9-8 loss to the Seattle Mariners on Thursday. Martin hit a game-tying three-run home run off Diego Castillo in the ninth inning. Sadly, the Rangers would end up losing in 11 innings, but that was likely Martin's biggest hit of his career. Despite that, Martin is hitting .160 with four home runs and 10 RBI this season. He was nearly a hero on Thursday, but won't have fantasy value going forward.
