The Detroit Tigers activated slugger Miguel Cabrera from the 10-day disabled list, the club announced on Tuesday.The first baseman was sidelined with a groin injury that caused him to miss nine games.Cabrera, a two-time American League MVP, is batting .268 with three homers and nine RBIs.The Tigers optioned catcher/first baseman John Hicks to Triple-A Toledo to open up the roster spot.
