He added a long three-run homer into the left field seats with nobody out in the seventh off Jason Grilli.Judge finished with four RBIs and recorded his second career multi-home run game. The right fielder has hit five of his 12 home runs and recorded 10 RBIs in his last five games.Brett Gardner also homered twice for the Yankees, who won for the 15th time in 20 games. He was removed prior to the eighth inning after going 1-for-4.Kluber (3-2) lasted three innings, surrendering five runs on seven hits before leaving with lower back discomfort. The Tigers' Justin Verlander (2-2) tossed seven innings, allowing two runs on four hits while walking four and striking out five.Twins 9, Athletics 1MINNEAPOLIS -- Miguel Sano continued his hot streak at the plate while Ervin Santana pitched another gem as Minnesota defeated Oakland.Sano's two-run homer was one of six home runs hit by the Twins. Brian Dozier hit a pair while Jason Castro, Byron Buxton and Joe Mauer also cleared the fences.Santana (5-0) lowered his ERA to 0.66 after allowing three hits and striking out seven in six scoreless innings. He walked two and struck out seven.Kansas City's Danny Duffy (2-2) did not make it out of the sixth inning. He was roughed up for six runs on 10 hits and two walks. LOUIS -- Carlos Martinez bounced back from a series of poor starts, allowing one unearned run on four hits over 7 1/3 innings while leading St. Louis to victory.The win was the first of the season for Martinez (1-3), coming in his sixth start and after he had allowed 15 earned runs in 21 1/3 innings in his previous four starts for a 6.33 ERA. Kolten Wong had two hits and an RBI for the Cardinals.Wily Peralta (4-2) lost his ninth consecutive decision against St. Louis in his last 11 starts. He has not defeated the Cardinals since Aug. 1, 2014. He gave up two runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings.Rays 3, Marlins 1MIAMI -- Logan Morrison homered against his former team, Alex Cobb pitched six scoreless innings and Tampa Bay defeated Miami.Marlins starter Edinson Volquez (0-4), who left the game after 4 1/3 innings due to a blister on his right thumb, became the first pitcher in the modern era to post at least nine strikeouts and eight walks in less than five innings.Cobb (2-2) was much more efficient, allowing four hits and two walks, striking out two. The Rays drew at least one walk in each of the first eight innings. Tampa Bay's Brad Miller, who is hitting .217, drew four.Pirates 12, Reds 3CINCINNATI -- Josh Harrison hit a three-run homer and Tyler Glasnow pitched six innings to earn his first career victory while adding a two-run single to lift Pittsburgh.Harrison continued to haunt his hometown team with his third home run in two games. He struck out six with no walks.Tyler Chatwood (2-4) was breezing through the Padres during the game's first half, then unraveled his third time through their order. San Diego broke through with a five-run sixth inning when they chased Chatwood.
