The playing time should certainly be there and his minor league history shows both power potential and the ability to hit for a good average.

It is a disappointing turn of events for Beer, who hit a whopping .444/.500/.889 with one home run, three RBI, and four runs scored on four hits through just nine MLB at-bats. Provided the surgery is successful, fantasy managers should keep him in mind for next season.
