Tue Oct 6 201512:55Wilkins reached agreement on one-year contract with Hornets on M...
Wilkins reached agreement on a one-year contract with the Hornets on Monday, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports.
With Michael Kidd-Gilchrist slated to miss the remainder of the regular season with a torn labrum in his right shoulder, the Hornets elected to bring in Wilkins for a look during training camp. Considering he last played in the NBA in 2012-13 as a member of the 76ers, the 35-year-old is no lock to make the Hornets' opening night roster.
Thu Sep 19 201310:51Damien Wilkins gets camp invite from Hawks
Damien Wilkins has been invited to Hawks training camp.
He played with the Sixers last season and made some noise late in the season, but at this point, he'll simply be trying to make an NBA roster. Ignore him on draft night.

Wed Apr 10 201322:38Damien Wilkins struggles again in loss
Damien Wilkins is still starting for the Sixers, but is playing terribly, missing all seven of his shots on Wednesday to finish with six points and four assists in 23 minutes.
That's three straight games with seven points or less, while Nick Young is suddenly on fire. Make the switch if you need a hot player.

Tue Apr 9 201322:36Damien Wilkins shut down in loss to Nets
Damien Wilkins hit just 1-of-5 shots for five points in 22 minutes on Tuesday.
The Nets dominated the game and Wilkins is no longer hot, especially as Nick Young continues to come on for the Sixers. Young had 18 tonight, but as long as Wilkins continues to start for the Sixers, he's still worth a look in some fantasy leagues.

Sat Apr 6 201322:24Damien Wilkins held to 3-of-10 shooting
Damien Wilkins had a quiet game vs. the Heat, scoring seven points on 3-of-10 shooting, with three rebounds and two steals in 32 minutes.
Playing time wasn't an issue tonight, but Nick Young (10 points) logged 21 minutes and he could spoil Wilkins' value if his role continues to increase. Just keep an eye on the situation for now, as Doug Collins seems very fond of the veteran Wilkins.

Fri Apr 5 201323:26Wilkins scores 16 points with full line
Damien Wilkins scored 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block in Friday's win over the Hawks.
Wilkins has been getting it done in fantasy leagues and he should be owned in all formats right now.

Sat Mar 30 201323:40Damien Wilkins scores 15 points vs. CHA
Damien Wilkins scored 15 points (6-of-10 shooting) with four rebounds and two assists in 36 minutes on Saturday, joining five other Sixers in double-figures.
Philly has suddenly won four straight games, though it provides little more than good vibes for a ninth-place team with no realistic chance of making the playoffs. Doug Collins isn't wavering in Wilkins as the starting SG, which makes Wilkins a viable option if he's still floating on your waiver wire.

Sat Mar 30 201300:48Damien Wilkins doesn't do much with 38 mins.
Damien Wilkins played 38 minutes against the Cavs on Friday, scoring just seven points with three boards, six assists, one steal and two blocks.
As far as guys go that are averaging just 15 minutes per game this year, he's been on a mini tear and averaged 18.0 points and 2.0 steals in his previous four. He's not going to be getting any shoe deals or anything, but he's worth owning in standard leagues. Dorell Wright played just 21 minutes and scored three points, so he's clearly trending down.

Wed Mar 27 201321:35Damien Wilkins does it again in win
Damien Wilkins stayed hot on Wednesday with 18 points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 7-of-15 shooting.
He had 17 points and a full stat line on Sunday and has been rolling for several games now. As long as he's starting for the Sixers, he's worth owning in most fantasy leagues. And yes, it felt weird to write that.

Sun Mar 24 201323:58Damien Wilkins scores 17 points in victory
Damien Wilkins' hot streak continued with 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in Sunday's win vs. the Kings.
Wilkins shot 6-of-13 from the field with one 3-pointer and zero turnovers in almost 40 minutes of action. Doug Collins appreciates the 33-year-old's consistent energy and there have been no suggestions that Wilkins might lose the starting SG job. Give him a look if you need a low-end source of fantasy value -- he averaged 11.5 points per game in March, with 0.8 threes, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.8 blocks

Fri Mar 22 201300:03Damien Wilkins scores 24 points Thursday
Damien Wilkins scored a team-high 24 points against the Nuggets on Thursday, adding one board, two assists, four steals and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Despite the big line, Wilkins had a terrible closing seconds in this game. He fouled Corey Brewer on a 3-pointer with 2.1 seconds left to put Denver up one, then he attempted the potential game-winning jumper and had it blocked. The Sixers are a total mess, but Wilkins could be coming on for owners in deeper leagues.

Mon Mar 18 201322:12Wilkins scores 12 points with six boards
Damien Wilkins scored 12 points on 6-of-8 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds, six assists and one steal over 36 minutes on Monday against the Blazers.
Wilkins has had some low-end value over the past two weeks in 12-team leagues, averaging 27.6 minutes, 11.6 points, 0.9 threes, 3.1 assists, 0.5 steals, 1.0 blocks and 2.0 turnovers with averages of 53.6 percent from the field and 66.7 percent from the line. Still, he should really only be owned in much deeper formats, as Nick Young still hasn't entered the picture and along with Dorell Wright three is a crowd.

Sun Mar 10 201321:15Damien Wilkins has 16 pts, six ast, three blk
Damien Wilkins stepped up with 16 points, six assists and three blocks in 37 minutes on Sunday, starting again with Nick Young (ankle) unavailable.
Doug Collins has repeatedly praised Wilkins' attitude and energy, and he brought it again tonight while shooting 6-of-12 from the field, with one 3-pointer. Young is day-to-day after missing the past five games, so Wilkins' increased role may not last much longer.

Wed Mar 6 201322:21Damien Wilkins gets hot, goes for 21
Damien Wilkins came off the bench for 21 points and six rebounds in Wednesday's loss to the Hawks.
Wilkins caught fire in the first half, making both of his 3-point attempts. Coach Doug Collins therefore stuck with him, but don't expect it to become a trend. Wilkins took two DNP-CDs last week and played just 10 minutes on Tuesday night. The Sixers have no incentive to develop him down the stretch in this lost season.

Tue Feb 26 201322:19Damien Wilkins scores 14 in 20 minutes
Damien Wilkins played 29 minutes for a season- high 14 points, four rebounds and a steal on 6-of-12 shooting Tuesday.
After playing 20 minutes and scoring 13 points on Wednesday, Wilkins then saw less than eight minutes in two straight games. He looked good tonight while Nick Young sat on the bench, but there's no reason to think this will last.

Wed Feb 20 201323:50Damien Wilkins scores season-high 13
Damien Wilkins was a surprise starter for the second half on Wednesday over Lavoy Allen and had a season-high 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting, along with three rebounds and two assists in 26 minutes.
Doug Collins saw his big men dominated by the Wolves throughout the first half and benched Allen and Spencer Hawes for Wilkins and, um, Kwame Brown. We doubt the move is anywhere close to permanent, and Wilkins is only worth a watchful eye in case he's suddenly thrown into the rotation permanently. And we doubt that's the case, as Doug Collins was simply sending a message to his big men.

Sat Feb 2 201307:57Damien Wilkins returns, doesn't play Friday

Wilkins will not be a fantasy asset in any league this season.

Fri Feb 1 201316:28Damien Wilkins back with Sixers
Damien Wilkins (personal) has rejoined the Sixers.
Wilkins was actually playing ahead of Dorell Wright before leaving the team. With Jason Richardson (knee) nearing a possible return and Nick Young on fire, the swingman spot is getting crowded here.
