Thu Apr 24 201413:24Gilbert Arenas says he's not done yet.
As part of a radio interview, Gilbert Arenas said he told Nick Young that he's working out in an attempt to resurrect his NBA career.
While we'd pay good money to hear a conversation between Agent Zero and Swaggy P, Arenas hasn't played in the NBA since the 2011-12 season and likely carries quite a bit of baggage in most GM's eyes. He's most recently been playing in China and may have to settle for a return to the Chinese Basketball Association rather than a return to the NBA, so fantasy owners can feel free to look the other way here.

Wed Sep 25 201310:18Arenas spotted at Lakers training camp
Gilbert Arenas and Kareem Rush were spotted at the Lakers facility.
There's not much to this news. Neither player has much of a shot to make the 15-man roster, and they might not even be part of the 20 guys invited to camp. Arenas is likely headed to play in China again this year.

Gilbert Arenas will not be making an appearance at the LA Clippers training camp.
There were rumors that he may receive an invite, but Agent Zero put those to rest Monday night. The 31-year-old guard is likely to play in China where he averaged 20.7 points in 14 games last season.

The Clippers may invite Gilbert Arenas to training camp.
Agent Zero reportedly was charged with transporting more than 100 pounds of fireworks this month and he's usually been in the news for the wrong reasons. The former All-Star played in China last year, averaging 17.8 points per game in 14 outings. Arenas is a longshot to make the team.

Thu Sep 5 201313:02Gilbert Arenas faces jail time for fireworks
Gilbert Arenas has been charged with transporting more than 100 pounds of dangerous fireworks, according to TMZ.
The incident occurred back in June after he was pulled over for speeding. Arenas had a truckload of fireworks and could he face up to one year in jail and up to $10,000 in fines. His next court appearance is scheduled to be next month. His six-year, $111 million deal from 2008 seems like a distant memory and his NBA career is in jeopardy.

Yahoo! Sports reported on Tuesday that Arenas' deal in China was falling apart, but it sounds like Agent Zero taking his talents to the CBA is still a very real option. Regardless of the outcome, Arenas' NBA future looks bleak at the moment.

Tue Oct 30 201220:00Gilbert Arenas deal in China in jeopardy
Gilbert Arenas, who reached a verbal agreement to sign with Guandong in China, may not be joining the team after all.
There are disagreements on a payment schedule, while Guandong is also concerned about what kind of shape Arenas might be in. They're already searching for another guard to fill the hole that not signing Arenas would leave, so it's possible that he could end up trying to get back into the NBA at some point soon. However, no NBA teams showed interest in signing him over the summer, so we doubt anything has changed on that front.

Gilbert Arenas is "close to signing" a one-year contract to play in China, a source tells Yahoo! Sports.
Arenas would play for the Guangdong Southern Tigers. He previously flirted with the idea of going to China, and with no interest in his services stateside, he'll likely join Tracy McGrady abroad next season.

Wed Sep 26 201209:41Report: Arenas could sign with either LA team
Gilbert Arenas said that he is considering signing with the Lakers or Clippers for the 2012-13 season.
We're taking this with a major grain of salt. Arenas apparently told an auto mechanic in Los Angeles that both LA teams were on the table, but we've heard nothing to suggest that either club is legitimately interested. For what it's worth, ESPN's Chris Palmer reported in late May that Arenas could sign with the Lakers.

Thu Aug 9 201209:19Report: Arenas slimmed down, now healthy
Unrestricted FA Gilbert Arenas has "slimmed down" and is "completely healthy," sources tell Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld.
We heard some similarly glowing reports about Arenas' health before he signed with the Grizzlies last season, where he was a complete non-factor. He has drawn very little interest on the open market, and he may have to wait for a training camp injury to get another shot. Orlando owes him over $40 million over the next two seasons after using the amnesty clause on his contract, so he'll still be getting paid even if he doesn't find a new team.

Tue May 22 201209:55Gilbert Arenas still an option for Lakers?
Unrestricted free agent Gilbert Arenas could sign with the Lakers, sources tell ESPN's Chris Palmer.
Arenas and the Lakers flirted with one another this season before he ultimately signed with the Grizzlies, and with Los Angeles still needing help at point guard, Arenas' name could surface once again. He didn't exactly wow anyone with his performance in Memphis, but he would likely come on a veteran's minimum contract should the Lakers once again express interest.

Gilbert Arenas has a torn ligament in his finger.
Arenas missed Wednesday's game, and he said that it's "difficult" to dribble and shoot the ball. He's day-to-day and assured he'd be ready for the postseason, so it's not a serious concern. He holds no fantasy appeal.

Tue Apr 10 201201:10Arenas scores two points off the bench
Gilbert Arenas scored two points off the bench on Monday, hitting 1-of-3 shots with one assist and one steal in 14 minutes.
If you had been following his two-game stretch with seven 3-pointers, here is the counterbalance to that. Good luck.

Sat Apr 7 201201:37Arenas hits four threes off the bench
Gilbert Arenas hit four 3-pointers off the bench on Friday, scoring 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting with zero rebounds and one assist in 12 minutes.
It's going to take more than one lopsided line to raise our eyebrows, but he did make the most of his time on the floor so there is that.

Fri Mar 30 201208:20Gilbert Arenas to return to the rotation soon
Gilbert Arenas should return to the Grizzlies' rotation "in the coming days."
Arenas has picked up two straight DNP-Coach's Decision, but the veteran said he feels like he's got his legs back under him after practice on Thursday. Even if he does return to the rotation, there is no reason to roster Arenas in any fantasy league at this time.
