Sun Jun 25 202314:34Andre Jackson Heading To Pittsburgh
The Los Angeles Dodgers traded reliever Andre Jackson to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday for cash, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. The 27-year-old was designated for assignment earlier this week after posting a 6.62 ERA and 1.42 WHIP with 16 strikeouts and a pair of saves over 17.2 innings. Jackson will likely be a depth piece for the Pirates, and if he is added to the Major League roster, he won't factor much into save or hold situations. He remains irrelevant in all fantasy formats.

Wed Mar 29 202323:03Andre Jackson Lands Bullpen Spot
Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Andre Jackson has made the opening day roster, according to manager Dave Roberts. The 26-year-old appeared in four big league games last season, posting a 1.86 ERA and striking out nine batters in just over nine innings. He put up similar numbers this Spring, so it appears he'll at least begin the year with the Dodgers. However, his stock has fallen a bit over the years, so he'll need to be a consistent producer to keep his spot in the pen.

Sun Oct 2 202214:20Andre Jackson Recalled From Triple-A
Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Andre Jackson has been recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Jackson is taking the place of Michael Grove, who was placed on the injured list. The 26-year-old reliever has a 0.00 ERA over 5 2/3 innings of relief at the big league level this season. He'll give the Dodgers some bullpen depth over the final stretch of the regular season.

Tue Aug 17 202118:38Dodgers Activate Gavin Lux, Option Andre Jackson
Los Angeles Dodgers middle infielder Gavin Lux (hamstring) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. Lux has been sidelined since July 19 with a left hamstring strain. With Lux sidelined, shortstop Corey Seager returned from the injured list and the club acquired middle infielder Trea Turner to play second base. Lux was struggling on the year with a .227 batting average to go along with six home runs and 37 RBI and his role moving forward will be that of a bench player. Between his struggles earlier in the year and his lack of opportunities moving forward, Lux can remain on the waiver wire. In a flurry of moves, the Dodgers also recalled relief pitcher Evan Phillips and optioned pitchers Andre Jackson and Conner Green.

Tue Aug 17 202108:56Andre Jackson Looks Good In Debut
Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Andre Jackson made his debut on Monday versus the Pittsburgh Pirates. The Dodgers went with pitcher Justin Bruihl as the opener, but Jackson followed him with four innings of work. The 25-year-old excelled in his debut and allowed two hits, zero runs, four walks and struck out five on the evening. The four walks weren't ideal, but Jackson showed plenty of potential during his outing. Jackson's role moving forward is uncertain, but the Dodgers rotation is banged up and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him get another opportunity at the big-league level in the near future. Dynasty managers should take a good look at Jackson, but he is harder to recommend in redraft leagues with his role moving forward being uncertain.
