Thu Apr 2510:59Landon Knack Picks Up First Career Win
Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Landon Knack earned his first career win on Wednesday in an 11-2 victory over the Nationals. The righty made his first career start against these same Nationals last week but came away with the loss despite pitching well. This time, the 26-year-old went six innings, allowing just three hits (one home run) while walking three batters and striking out five on his way to the win. With Walker Buehler nearing his return, however, Knack likely heads back to the minors. If these two starts were any indication though, he could be a viable DFS play or streaming option if he were recalled again, depending on the matchup.

Mon Apr 2217:34Landon Knack Getting Another Start This Week
Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitching prospect Landon Knack will make another start on Wednesday versus the Washington Nationals on the road. Knack, 26, made his major-league debut last week against these very same Nats in a start and allowed two earned runs on four hits (one homer) while walking one and striking out four in five innings in a loss. Knack won't be the worst sleeper streamer against a weak Nationals lineup for Wednesday's slate, but there's also a fair amount of risk for a pitcher making his second MLB start on the road. Knack is listed as LA's No. 13 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, and is most likely to head back to the minor leagues to fine-tune his arsenal when Walker Buehler (elbow) is finally able to make his season debut after missing all of 2023 due to Tommy John surgery.

Wed Apr 1708:56Landon Knack Set To Make Debut On Wednesday
Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Landon Knack will make his big-league debut on Wednesday versus the Washington Nationals. The 26-year-old is one of the Dodgers top pitching prospects and has made four starts for Triple-A Oklahoma City this season. In those starts, he has produced a 4.02 ERA with 16 strikeouts and four walks. Knack is intriguing, especially with a matchup versus a Washington Nationals lineup that isn't scary, but it is probably best that managers take a wait-and-see approach with Knack before running him out there. It is also possible that Knack could go back down to the farm with Walker Buehler (elbow) expected to return next week.

Mon Apr 1519:50Dodgers Planning To Call Up Landon Knack?
The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya is hearing that the Los Angeles Dodgers are planning on calling up pitching prospect Landon Knack to pitch this week, according to sources. Knack would be making his major-league debut if he gets into a game. Ardaya also thinks Kyle Hurt would be a possibility as the Dodgers look for length from their pitching staff this week. According to MLB Pipeline, Knack is the club's No. 13 prospect, while Hurt is their No. 6 prospect. The 26-year-old Knack could make the start on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals, as the Dodgers have yet to name a starter for that game. In three starts at Triple-A Oklahoma City so far this year, Knack has posted a 4.02 ERA with four walks and 16 K's in 15 2/3 innings. He'll be a poor choice as a streamer if he makes a spot start for LA this week.

Thu Jul 20 202309:55Landon Knack Spins Four Scoreless Innings
Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Landon Knack threw four scoreless innings for Triple-A Oklahoma, allowing three hits and striking out three. He primarily used his four-seamer and slider, generating four whiffs and six caught strikes on 28 swings. Since being promoted from Double-A on June 17, the 25-year-old has a 3.29 ERA and 25.1% strikeout rate at the Triple-A level. While a 6.10 FIP raises concerns, his solid run in Triple-A gives him a great chance to gain a promotion, making him a stashable starting pitching option in deep redraft leagues.

Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Landon Knack threw six scoreless innings for Triple-A Oklahoma, allowing just three hits and striking out seven. His plus fastball-slider combination was working on Saturday, generating 15 whiffs on 35 swings. Since being promoted from Double-A on June 17, the 25-year-old has a 3.29 ERA and 27.1% strikeout rate at the Triple-A level. While there are many high-quality pitching prospects in the Dodgers system, Knack still has the opportunity to earn a promotion by the season's end. With improvement in each of his Triple-A starts, Landon Knack is a stashable starting pitching option in keeper and deep redraft leagues.

Sun Jun 11 202312:50Emmet Sheehan, Landon Knack Promoted To Triple-A
Los Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitching prospects Emmet Sheehan and Landon Knack have both been promoted from Double-A Tulsa to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Sheehan, 23, is the club's No. 13 prospect, per MLB Pipeline, has been the best pitching prospect in LA's system in 2023 by going 4-1 with a 1.86 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 88 K's in 53 1/3 innings. He had 41 strikeouts and a 0.36 ERA in 24 2/3 frames in May. The hard-throwing righty has the upside of a mid-rotation starter in the big leagues. Knack, 25, is the team's No. 18 prospect, per MLB Pipeline. He's gone 2-0 with a 2.20 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 61 K's in 57 1/3 innings for Tulsa. Knack will need to stay healthy and command his entire arsenal if he's going to be a successful starter at the next level.
