Diamondbacks signed OF Jordan Parraz to a minor league contract
The 29-year-old outfielder had a disappointing start to his 2013 season, slashing a meager .141/.230/.321 in 29 games at Triple-A Gwinnett before being released by the Braves. He caught on with the Twins though, and put up a respectable .261/.347/.444 line with 11 homers, 33 RBI and five swipes in 74 games at Double-A New Britain. He has the ability to play all three outfield positions, and will serve as organizational depth for the D'Backs.

Braves signed OF Jordan Parraz to a minor league contract.
The deal includes an invitation to spring training. Parraz, 27, registered a .289/.362/.440 batting line with nine home runs, 28 doubles and 52 RBI in 126 games this season at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Yankees sent OF Jordan Parraz outright to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Parraz was claimed off waivers in November but was designated for assignment last week when the team acquired Justin Maxwell. He batted .266/.350/.410 with 11 home runs and 61 RBI over 501 plate appearances in the Royals organization last season. The 26-year-old has been given a spring training invite but will almost surely begin the season in the minors.

Boston picked Parraz up off waivers from the Royals in November, but he lasted less than a month in the organization. The 26-year-old hit .266/.350/.410 with 11 homers at Triple-A Omaha in 2010. If he's still with the Yanks on Opening Day, he'll begin the year at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
